Hello, Thank you, Nice to meet you

Broadway is celebrating tonight with the Tony Awards but OMG is celebrating something even bigger than a Tony that's also Broadway related.

When OMG met Jake on Broadway.

Yes met Jake - not just going seeing Jake on Broadway in Sunday in the Park with George (which made this fan so proud of your performance) - but met you Jakey.

(Waiting Jake's team to have a moment or the vapors or a scream or scrambling like it's DEFCON 1)

Jakey we met at the stage door after a matinee.

I had seen the show the night before and your performance was moving - your love of acting and the interplay of the energy of the audience apparent - your singing top notch - you claimed your seat at the Broadway table with Sondheim!

You came out that afternoon and were kind gracious to sign autographs.

And standing right there you  never even know that Special K was in front of you asking you to sign her Playbill and thanking you in return.

The world didn't stop spinning, nothing exploded, it was just a moment between a fan and a performer they've admired for years.

Thanks Jakey

PS:  Next time we'll have to talk about all those stories from friends in the industry about you being a bit of screamer  (tsk tsk - I thought that was just at home with a certain tall Texan

;)

Lotsa Wind

Austin tweeted a "farewell"

Goodbye Chicago. You are a sweet mistress! - AUS10

but was he throwing out breadcrumb to something else as well?

Of all the things of Chicago - an old Liberty Savings bank building in Bucktown - wouldn't be the first choice for most to tweet....

So why would Austin pick a picture with Lady Liberty the most prominent thing about it?

It doesn't really scream Chicago ..... more like....

Who said the fireworks were over yet?

Austin Points Bulletin

He goes by a few names,  Austin, Aus10, Wild Turkey...Grey...

He could be scruffy

of clean cut

He could be using a cunning use of hats.

Or boots.

He says he 's back in the New York groove  but exactly where is that? Is he wearing a groove somewhere in the 5 Burroughs, or  just outside one or two of them?  It's a Long Island, so there's lots of places to look.

Big A in the Big Apple

Well Austin put it best....

Just a country boy from Texas rockin the subways of NYC.    - Aus10

Liking life in the big city country boy?

Funny how he lets you know he's been in NYC all weekend. And the same weekend Jake was playing fun with photos.

New York(er) State of Mind

We don't know if they are in a New York, or Michigan, or visitors to the Vineyard.

We don't where either are for that matter. But it does look that Austin is not in NC, and Jake is not in LA. What do you want to bet they are somewhere together.

Now both Jake and Austin have said that New York is one of their favorite places.

But what's the New Yorker's take on them?

Well from these it looks a whole lot like Surf and Turf.
