Not a crawl but a sprint

PR is full swing for Nightcrawler by the looks at the number of interviews with Jake at the moment and it's not slowing down.

Here are a few to choose from:

Jake's interview with E!Online about how he was unaware of how he looked while making in Nightcrawler - E!Online

Jake speaking to Extra - Extra TV

Jake on Access Hollywood talking about Nightcrawler, Broadway, and avoiding calling himself a bachelor - Access Hollywood

Jake was also on Queen Latifah's talk show with his co-star Rene Russo, who made a disclosure that she is bipolar which was unaware to even Jake.

But don't think all of Jake's interviews are only on tape.

Jake's been added as a featured speaker at the Producers Guild of America’s inaugural Produced by: New York event.

PGA President Emeritus Hawk Koch will moderate the one-on-one discussion with Jake who didn't just take on the acting role for the movie but was on the producers .

"Produced By: New York will feature 12 full conference sessions, panel discussions, mentoring roundtables and networking opportunities designed to address key industry topics and discuss the evolving world of producing."

Produced By: New York will take place at the Time Warner Center in NYC on Saturday, Oct. 25.

Wanna Bet?

While all the talk has been about Jake getting ready to start filming Prisoners, it is easy to forget he has another movie in the works, and it was announced a while before Prisoners.

Bet you're thinking... wait what movie was that?

Answer: Mississippi Grind

The story written and directed by the Half Nelson duo Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, is about a young gambling addict who teams with a washed up gambler fraught with debt as the two travel through the South to hopefully change their luck.

And while lately Jake's beard makes him look like the old washed up gamber, if you took that bet you would be busted.

Jake plays the younger gambler, so who then is the older in this pair?
Up and coming Australian actor Ben Mendelsohn.  Ben is 11 years Jake' senior and when Jake gets a clean close shave he will look even younger.

Jake isn't just acting in Mississippi Grind is also producing the film. This will be Jake's second producing credit.  His first came with End of Watch,  and bestowed upon him after he became so involved in the making of the film.
