I agree I think that Jake and Austin do have help, there are a lot of non celebrity families that have help, but I take "active" mean that they are totally involved in the daily lives of their children.
I agree with Tom that it is personal for Ted--although TT is also his best-known Blind Vice.
I suspect Ted still has hope that J&A will do the right thing, especially since they have a child. I suspect he also feels differently about them because TT because he is part of a couple, and not just a single guy going from one hookup to the next.
Austin looks like such a cool place, I'd love to visit it some day.

I've waffled a lot over the years about BT, but I definitely lean towards believing he or she exists. I think Ted would have just let it drop and not mentioned it again if not true. Plus we've had a few odd things: the photos of Jake at dinner with RDJ that looked like their was a child's coat on the bench, Reeke driving in D.C. with Rudd and two kids when Ava and Deacon were clearly in L.A., and possibly, the London playground pix of Jake.
I wonder if there are other things out there if we just really combed through them, the way that picture that seems to be Austin was noticed this week.
I just hope I'm around to read Ava and BT's tell-all books. :-D

It's good to be on official weekend. What a long week. And next week promises to be a most stressful one as it is the last week of the old warehouse loading technique and in two weeks, we get more up to date with electronic scanners. Anyone who follows movie gossip knows that Jake is the #1 and only #1 candidate to be Toothy. Ted knows that too. If it were not Jake, he would have said and it's not a long time ago. Despite all the guesses re who Toothy is, Jake's name never comes up in email guesses despite being the #1candidate because Ted can't say no he isn't and won't out him. If Ted says there is a Baby Tile or possibly multiple Baby Tiles, I believe him. For some reason I thought there was a hint that it was a boy, but nothing I can put my hands on.

These kinds of telethons are great. George Clooney recruited a vast amount of big names for an ultimate cause. The stories they are telling are just heartbreaking and the pictures are unbelievable.

It was very good, wasn't it? I liked little Monley. I think Anderson Coop looks great with him. Coop looks like a natural dad! A natural, HOT dad. lol! I wish Coop would adopt Monley. That kid is so cute.
That was a great video of the 15 year old girl who was trapped and they had film of them extracting her from the rubble. Unbelievable. And the joy on her face over being alive, even admidst all the devestation around her. That was an awesome video.

I must stunned to realize they already the number of orphans before the earthquake, I can't imagine how many more now, it's mind boggling and heartaching.
I didn't know they had a high number of orphans before the earthquake; I missed that information. It's as unreal as the mass graves. I remember seeing very early pictures after the earthquake and a coffin maker was told to stop making coffins because there was no way they were going to be able to keep up. They were going to have to just do mass graves.

Jake looked good in the PSA, the hair looks like he got a trim and his beard too. And that he's gotten some sleep, which might be tough since some in the house might not be so sleepy when they should be.
It was a nice telethon. But did they really need to
feature Reese talking on the phone with a donor. Even my girlfriend was cringing over how fake she seemed and insisted I turn the sound off.

Watched Conan's last show. For a situation that is so messed up, he went out with class. He did thank NBC for the 20 years of working there despite the current situation, and said yes leaving the Tonight Show is the hardest thing he's ever done.
He reminded people that he doesn't want them to be cynical, but that if you work hard and you're kind, good things do happen.

I'm sorry, but to me, her being on there stank of as false of a goodwill move as I think I've ever seen. Why is it Jake's name comes out when the initial list is released and hers comes on like one day prior to the event? I can never believe anything she does. I will forever doubt every move she makes and suspect it as some calculated step in her grand scheme of career ladder climbing.

It was kind of cool to try and name everyone, lol. My sister & I were snapping our fingers left and right. "Oh!! That's...uh...uh..." and "Oh, there's so & so!!" It was a veritable who's who and quite interesting to see.
I really liked Beyonce's version of Halo. I like that song anyway but she sang it really differently and changed the lyrics to focus on Haiti. It was beautiful.

I dout Jake pulled out because her name appeared on the list at the last minute, that is immature and childish. I think he is a better man than that. Put all things aside for a good cause. Most of those stars are repped by CAA. Most likely they threw their names out their and then asked the actors after. Jake wasn't the only one, Renee Zweigler orginally was on the list and she wasn't there. Meryl Streep was listed and she wasn't there either but she did the PSA like Jake. Most likely Jake only agreed to do the PSA.
The only thing bad is thsat he has apattern of not showing up for some charity events, and the fact that Clint Eastwood and Matt Damon spoke live from SF and Jake was tweeted there getting coffee and going to yoga class doesn't look good.
I wonder if at the end Jake just couldnt stand reese anymore. Maybe he couldnt stand to be in the same room wirh her anymore.
Personally I think he is back closer to Wilmington or he did meet up with Austin in San Fran. Maybe they will eventually buy a house there.

You must not think much of Jake Tom if you think he would be that childish. I don't think he commited to do the telethon, just the PSA. A number of others that were originally on the list were no-shows.
I think it looks good to have his name on lists but he really has no inyettion of showing up.He did the same thing the same 2 charity org 826 (sp?) he bailed on the ping-pong event and a few years earlier he was a no-show for the same org. in L.A. and was spotted at a concert in Boston.
I think he only goes to the Green Global events because he is a cook and one of their initives is growing organic foods, etc.

I thought Jake moved East, or was it Venice? He has ben spooted in SF before. The last time was with Reese back in October, they were spotted at the SF airport, prior to that they were spotted in Berekley and a few times with Lance Armstrong when they were haging out. He must know people there just like he knows people in Venice.

I thought it was a great telethon - I loved all of the music, especially John Legend's "Motherless Child" and Justin Timberlake and Matt Morris singing "Hallelujah". Madonna sang "Like a Prayer". I liked Beyonce's "Halo" too. All great, and means a lot that they could give of their time. I liked Steven Spielberg too.
I donated at work where they are matching funds. Hooray! I'm sure as PG says, everyone will have many opportunities to help, because people will need it for a long time to come. :)
I totally agree with everything you said about Reese PG. And the reason I mentioned my girlfriend is that she is very neutral on all this stuff, and if she had a bad reaction to her, well.....
And speaking of which, we watched the 30 Rock episode last night with Franco. What a hoot. And this morning my girlfriend turned to me and said, you know, I've always thought you were a bit nuts in talking about showmances and contracts and everything being planned out, and now she totally believes people do it! Just shows you how much power things like movies and shows have.
On a related note, also watched an episode with Cheyenne Jackson that followed. Also a very good episode, and I loved the way Fey and Baldwin were fighting over him as the only "real" man in the office--with Fey making out with him, and Baldwin going to sporting events and other "manly" events. No way that wasn't playing with HW's image of gay actors, especially since it ran with the Franco episode.
It also illustrates that there are people, shows, etc. that will support an out actor and use in other than gay roles.
I loved the music on the telethon too; especially Jay Z with Bono and the Edge backing him, and Dave Matthew with Neil Young. Thanks Oh Ted for Morris' name, I had no idea who that was with JT.
Neil was also great on Conan, and loved Freebird. Wasn't that Beck, a member of ZZ Top and a member of Cheap Trick backing up Ferrell?

Here I was getting ready to come on here and say that the idea of a BT is controversial and it apparently takes some nerve to get on here and say that one believes BT exists. I have wavered many times on the subject so I don't blame anybody for believing BT doesn't exist.
