Dud(e) to Stud

In 24 hours Jake went from

 Dude

to  Debonair

He ditched the robe and sandals for a midnight blue impeccably tailored Tom Ford tuxedo with satin lapels, cuffs and trim.

Saturday he paid homage to the iconic Dude from the cult movie The Big Lebowski as he presented the “Original Dude Award” award to Jeff Bridges at the Spike TV Guy's Choice Award.

Anyone notice his chain is back too?

On Sunday he was the perfect gentleman helping the great Cicely Tyson to the microphone as she accepted her first Tony.

Jake presented the Tony Award for Leading Actress for both Play and Musical to Cicely Tyson for "A Trip To Bountiful" and Patina Miller for the revival of  Pippin, respectively.

Interestingly enough he presented by himself while most awards were presented by co-presenters.

While he didn't have The Dude's signature White Russian with him at the Tony's he did have one accessory for both awards show

What is more appropriate for this weekend than some Jake's best looks - black tie - of course

A Leg Up

Last week Austin directed the Crazy Tree and maybe this week he has a future project with his former JFC co-star.

Directors find inspiration from all kinds of things, films they've seen, still pictures, their surroundings, they draw from everything to bring their vision to life. It's all on the director. A lot of work. But there are perks about being the director and directing yourself - you can wear whatever you want.Now where would Austin find the inspiration for this look?But let's get fancy.

Austin tuxified.While it might be for a role, it looks like he put a little reality into the part. - Check out the good luck charm Julian clutches. A touch never mentioned but bet it was something Austin has done or seen someone do before they hit the red carpet.
