Jake vs. Ryan tonight in the Teen Choice Awards in Movie Actor Drama category. Forget the drama. Forget the spin. Let's get down to the important part of the whole thing, the award itself. A surfboard. What do you with a trophy surfboard. Surf with or just get propped up in the corner somewhere. Spoiler alert: click here if you just have to know who won (all the awards) before the show airs tonight.
Jake has worked on getting the hang (ten) of surfing down, and has perfected looking good while doing it. Sounds like someone else who makes surfing look effortless doesn't it. But he may need a few more pointers about his stick from Austin.

I'm sure that paparazzi agency closely follows all tabloids - it's their line of business.
You seem to forget that it was Reese's rep. first to issue the denial, in the NY Daily News, it wasn't a joint denial. The joint denial came from People later on in the day.
Their bases were covered, they got the exposure they needed for the cycle, no need to contact X17online to repeat, the same agency that in the beginning and still occasionally pimps them out like today.
IMO: No fireworks either in Morocco or L.A. I bet they did this w/o the knowledge of them, i'm sure they could care less.
X17 gets their onfo from the rags just like the rest of the sites.

You're right Jayna. Winters on Vineyard are only for the hearty. Friends have gotten a little stir crazy there off season and more than a little drunk. Could only hack it a couple of years year round before saying uncle and finding something up in Boston.

Tried to watch "The Informers" trailer several times now, but it keeps screwing up, things kinda go hazy and then black round the edges about the time naked Austin is...on the bed... thrusting...oh, no...it's happening again...
Luck for me the trailer got posted while I had my office door shut eating lunch. But a repeat viewing will have to wait until I get home.

Wow - just watched the trailer for The Informers. Very intriguing and gritty, a little sadness and emptiness in some of the characters too, shown with wide shots of the camera in intimate moments. Has an eavesdropping in some parts, like you are overhearing things that maybe you aren't supposed to. Love the way it starts out with the Reagan speech -and then you see what's under that conservative '80's veneer. Really intriguing, and Austin is great in it, and I love Billy Bob Thornton and Kim Basinger, and Mickey Rourke's character looks interesting too. I have to read this book before I see it. And of course you can't go wrong with Blue Monday in the background. Looks good!

It's hard to say if it is mysogynistic or not just from the trailer - it may be just the point of view, or commentary on the times, or the character(s). I haven't seen American Psycho, nor have I read any of Brett Easton Ellis' work. The Informers does look very lush. I liked the scene of Austin at the bar with the dude too. ;)
I agree, it is hard to say based on the trailer. Since reading American Psycho, which had some really disturbing violence towards women in it, I haven't wanted to see any of BEE's work. Clearly I will make an exception this one time because of Austin. I'm hoping to read reviews here and if anythign is to bad that we will be forewarned so we know when to go get popcorn/fastforward.

Of course i had to make a comment about NPH after the "OUT" interview, as i have followed him closely on the internet the last eight months.
First, i had no idea his boyfriend, David, has twins. I don`t know how close the relationship is with the kids today, but i do know that when Neil talks about something in interviews, it very often can be seen as something that WAS, even though it might be current today. Sorry for my bad english, but i hope you know what i mean.
I have often wondered why he has seemed a bit hesitating when it comes to showhing David affection in public(as i think he sometimes has). Today, i think i know why. I think, as i understood from the interview, he wants to protect David because he`s an actor too, and deserves to be known by his own name.
I know they have been wearing matching rings since october-06. Just love seeing them wearing those:)

Both Anderson and Neil are dreamy Special. Neil is everything I hoped Jake would be. I'd even settle for Jake being like Anderson right now. Anderson is just living his life not living a lie.
I still have hope for Jake. Not gonna give up on him yet. I may get mad at him but not gonna give up hoping.
What I am most impressed about NPH is that he was a child star who grew up and did it right. No dramas, no rehab, no sensational True Hollywood Story of a child star gone bad.
He has his good head on his shoulders, his professional and personal priorities and he is well rounded person regardless of the type of career he has or who he dates.
He is a someone you would like to work with, to live next to, to have in your community because he is just a good person.
I managed to get a peek at the Informers trailer earlier today even though I was at work. Big mistake - I couldn't concentrate at all after viewing it. Austin's role looks intriguing and Austin looks incredible. Can't wait to see the movie.

To the Disappointed poster, after reading the book I think BEE's story is more nihilistic than misogynist. All the characters are more or less bored, fucked up, drugged and boozed out of their wits or plain psychopaths. I'll be watching the movie for Austin, of course, but also for Billy Bob Thornton. To me this guy is just like Gary Oldman, watching him is (almost) always a captivating treat.

Regarding those Teen Choice Awards, Ryan in Stop Loss sort of makes sense; even that movie poster seemed to be targeting youths. But Jake for Rendition is plain ridiculous and just makes his PR team look pathetic.

IMO I don't think the characters in The Informers are supposed to be very likeable, and they're certainly not role models, and any misogeny is just one more messed up thing about them. Austin's character Martin is I think the best male part in the book. I haven't read American Psycho, so I don't know how that compares in tone.
And yes, I'm shallow too, I can't wait to see Austin in this movie.
NPH: My team has to be very conscious of what steps I make [and] when, so they’re just the most productive and positive they can be. And I’m spearheading that team. [If] I get misquoted once, that misquote becomes its own story in other places, and then that looks like I went to those periodicals and said some crazy statement to get attention to myself. Then people react: “Who is he to say that stuff?” I feel much more like a politician in interviews now because you have to be specific about your sentence structure. Because if something is taken out of context, then there are a lot of ramifications.
Man I wonder how Austin is going to handle interviews, and whether he will come out or not when asked about what it was like doing male sex scenes. It will be very interesting to see what he does.

Holy mother of! As far as I am concerned you can post that trailer every day until the movie opens. The boy looks smokin hot, and the movie decadent, although the hair is a bit off putting. I like the sound track too, though they often use other music for the real film. I'll watch it a few more times before the night is over. One of the few times when Austin trumps Jake for me.
