charybdis ia on the shirt. It looks good on him, black is better than red. Red was like a tablecloth. Alto.. I would eat off that tablecloth. On the skirt and how he's dressed at LAX, doesn't look NY bound or even TX where both are cold and snow/rain. Maybe NC. He doesnt look to have a jacket and they're hard to pack in backpacks. Carry on sure but who packs one in just to load it up and take it down and open it? Strange no one seen him, no phone pics, no pap pics. AG, I don't know where you are located, by thoughts and prayers to the people and other living things of southeastern Australia devastated by the wildfires that have swept the area the past few days. To think that arson may have been the cause, that's just pure evil.

I am a little surprised jakes PR staff is not saying anything about the IUC blog. Then again it is not libel if it is true. Looks like they plan to ignore it.

Ted can get away with it because it's a BI, doesn't matter how many people guess and post like JJ and Ian as long as Ted doesn't actually say it.
BI's are lawsuit proof, Ian is safe because he is just repeating TT BI's, he did add a few "new" items but he has no proof, therefore most think he made it up.
He doesn't have to worry about lawyers coming after him, Will Smith's people ignored him, he "outed" Winfrey today, big deal the mainstream rags outs her and Gail every other week.
He needed an audience tonight for his video and got the idea when Ted was on his chat show a few weeks ago IMO.
I laughed when he said that he "outed" TT when in fact Jake was guessed as TT as far back as June '05 by sites like Gawker and Defamer. He also begged readers not to stop reading Ted because he spoiled the fun and didn't know why there was such a fascination with tt since Ted has other great BI's like CrispLisp! What the hell was that all about?
The blogs are ignoring it this time around after JJ.
All this Ian has done is rehash Ted's old Bi's about Toothy. He hasn't named any names and more importantly, he hasn't shown any solid proof. The other blogs probably aren't interested because everything he's saying is old news. Ian has to either put up or shut up. To me, it's like Ted is tiring of Toothy and is passing him on to Ian. For all the times Ian has mentioned Ted, Ted hasn't written one word about his Toothy being outed. And honestly, to me it seems like Ted's last couple of posts about Toothy are contradictory. Maybe Ted really is tired of TT being his most asked about BI and this is his way of killing it.
It's like I always say ... "pictures or it didn't happen."

post script: I just read what I wrote and for some reason this time everything made sense.
In addition to the fact that the mainstream media always circles the wagons, they're afraid of lawsuits. A gossip site, magazine, etc. that runs Ian's stories can also be sued for libel even though they are quoting Ian. Nobody is going to take the chance, particularly with someone like this using unnamed sources.
Not either 'cause it's true.

This IUC guy wrote a book so I expected him to lay out his tale in a more cohesive fashion. A mish mash so far.
Ted's letters today seem kind of lame. Don't get the Owen Wilson one at all since I wouldn't put them in the same category. It's almost as if Ted is trying to mix things up because of Ian.
Speaking of which, I haven't listened to Ian, but I take it no great revelations.

Here’s the summary of Ian Halperin’s show. He answered questions:
- Where is the proof? He said his sources are “very strong” just like Ted’s.
- He said he got the story of Toothy Tile through a friend of his in LA. An actress friend originally contacted him about that. He thinks Ted did a fantastic job with the blind item over the years but Ian thought it was time to reveal everything about Toothy. He’ll have a couple more posts about Toothy in the next coming days. He is going to give the conclusive proof that everyone is looking for. He knows that some people are sceptical, a lot are supportive of Toothy, but Ian thought it was time to out Jake. It’s been so long and he got away all these years hiding behind this blind item. He then said the same as his outing ethics post, about kids having heroes to look up to.
- About Toothy and Austin: Ian said that yes, a lot of people say that Toothy and Austin are definitely an item.
- Is Ted done with the Toothy blind item? Ian said That is up to Ted. He’d be very surprise if Ted does more, but Ted is a master of reinventing things so it’s possible.
- What does Toothy Tile mean? Jake’s teeth look like tiles when he smiles. His smile is distinctive.
- Is Ted ticked off? Ian says Ted is a class act and he thinks that he is not ticked off but relieved that the story finally came out. He’d be very surprised if Ted was still angry. He said Ted is the best, the king of the bloggers, long before Perez Hilton, Dlisted and Page Six.
- Did Ted pass the Toothy legend on to Ian? He says he won’t tell about that. Ted is a class act and if he wants to reveal it, is up to him. Whatever Ted told Ian in the past or emailed him, is between Ted and Ian. He’ll never betray Ted’s confidence.
- Does Reese know that Jake is Toothy? Absolutely she does. 100%. Ian has friends who are friends with Reese and she heard all the Toothy rumors. Jake knows too. Jake actually jokes about them quite a bit.
- Is Jake bisexual or gay? There were at least 2 women in his investigation who admitted they had sexual relations with Jake. One of them said he was not the best lover but that she did confirm they had sexual relations. Another one said they had hot sex. Ian hasn’t revealed her yet because he is trying to corroborate all her evidence. A third woman he interviewed (the first one he posted as “Penny”) said they barely kissed and they never even touched. So it’s difficult to know what really went down with this guy. But Jake definitely had sexual relations with men. He seems to prefer men by all accounts. Ian has tracked down another male who he’ll probably interview this week and will reveal the transcript of the interview on the blog. He is trying to get more corroboration and evidence from him. Ian said this is very delicate stuff. You just can’t make wild accusations against people and just out people. He said he does a lot of research. He has a team who helps him. He thanked his team for doing over time this week trying to get to the bottom of this. They are on a mission because they feel that every celebrity and athlete has to come out and be role models.
- About giving names: He is going to give names as this story progresses. He wants to have more people on board, create more awareness and bring it out into the open properly. He said he worked 25 years in this business.
- Has he heard from lawyers? What’s the legal status of his claims? He said he can back up everything he says. He’s been through this many times before. He is very familiar with the US libel law. He’ll spend every dime he has to defend himself from anyone who pursues him.
- Is there a Baby Tile? Ian is going to talk next week about baby tile.
- About the accusations that he can’t be taken seriously and he just stole Toothy from Ted and has no proof: Ian respects Ted and says he is great. He said that everybody is entitled to an opinion. His sources are credible and they stand by their stories. He interviewed dozens of people in this case. He only printed a couple so far. They do things with diligence and they don’t print things randomly, and to stay tune for more.
- What about Reese? Ian thinks it is a pre arranged relationship and there is nothing much to it. He thinks they both have other people on the side. A lot of people close to them have express doubts.
- What is in it for Reese? She does need the publicity of a relationship with Jake. Reese and Ryan had a turbulent relationship. Something happened there and he thinks Jake and Reese were just together and right for each other at the right time. That is exactly what happened and that is all there is too it.

- Oprah. He and his staff worked for 15 months on this story and they have conclusive confirmation.
- Chris Brown, if his career is toast.
- Country music, Kenny Chesney being in the closet
- Gay athletes, Alex Rodriguez is bi.
- Brad pitt is bi. Brangelina have an open relationship.
- Rappers, he recommended the book about gay rappers.
- Justin Timberlake and Leo Di Caprio, he said he can’t reveal anything yet and to stay tune. He is still working on these stories.
- Tom Cruise is gay. His marriages are arranged. Katie wants out but Scientology has her secrets.
- Jennifer Aniston. Ian is convinced the relationship with John Meyer is a charade and he wonders about both of them. There are lots of rumors about John Meyer in Hollywood.

To me, that didn't sound like what ag was saying, TT. Correct me, ag, if I'm wrong. I think the point being made was that Ted has gotten as much mileage as he can about the identity/mystery of TT. So, just to keep it going, he's trying to throw some real wrinkles into it.
Now, since Reeke began, it did give a resurgance (sp?) to the TT story. And right now, I would say he has/or would have a different spin to it by going more into the identity of GG. But as far as the identity of TT, the story's pretty much been done. And it wouldn't surprise me to see Ted either let the story of TT fade off into the sunset or just not post on it as much. All good things must come to an end and like an artist, I'm sure writers are eager to try new things, write new things, move on to the latest & greatest.
Anyway, I'm glad to hear you are safe, ag, but sorry for your fellow countrymen. Fire has got to be pretty horrifying when it gets out of control.

I don't have much to say on mr. Ian yet; I'm still waiting to see it all. But tremendous thanks to Summary for that wonderful summary. After that, I've got to say he does sound a little bit more credible. But this "no names" thing always gets me. No names. No specific details. I would think he would've had all these interviews done before he went & blurted all these statements out on the web. Who's to say someone's not going to back out, then where does that leave him? Kind of stupid, if you ask me. But we'll see. It does seem very interesting that Jake left L.A. and no sight of him yet.
And last but not least, BIG KUDO'S to Stump, the Sussex spaniel, who won the Westminster last night. I can't believe I missed the last of it to see him win. I thought there was something special about him. He was adorable and his tail wagged the entire time he'd be running around. And he's 10 years old!!! 10 years old - the oldest dog to ever win that show. Hurray for Stump! His tail was like a big stump, too, lol.

TT was a mystery for a few months in 2005. Ted's readers are intereseted in new gossip about Toothy/Jake.

What I want to know is how Stump keeps his beautiful coat at that age, shouldn't he have some gray in it by now? I always watch the dog show, but the ones I'm partial never seem to get to the final round. They always seem to go for the fur-ball types, poodles, etc.
