omorrow is Valentine's Day, and today at school there will be Valentine's parties with little sweet valentine's stuffed in little mailboxes or decorated bags. Makes you wonder how many valentines Austin used to get in his. Cause you know that grin know matter how awkward the stage or funky the haircut, made girls giggle and look for the best valentine in the box to send to him.
Somehow you can see girls chasing him around the playground, and him running but grinning cause he knew .....
Now all grown up that grin still gets them, and more than just girls who giggle.
Know that it's Austin Fridays, but from the great to see again sparkle in Jake's eye, makes you wonder if he was celebrating a little Austin Friday's - Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs...
Now would he order cocktails at Allen & Delancey made with Grey Goose?

I always have mixed feelings about Valentine's, but I can certainly see all the girls (and a few boys) asking Austin to be their Valentine.
Jake is looking good, but I sure wish he'd lose the hats.
I agree Destiny the hats I could live without. Jake has beautiful hair. I love the long coat on Jake. It looks awsome.
Does anyone think the Grey Goose sneaked out of the back door of Allen and Delancey?

Have you notice that all Jake's hats have a 30's and 40's sense to them.

Love to see Jake looking so happy and joyful with his sister, Peter and friends. And Mamie Gummer is also a great actress. Really cute to see her and Jake in a photo together.

Today is Friday the 13th, which I personally love. I feel it is a lucky day. Maybe that's because I was born on a 13th!
Re Valentine's Day- this year the Mrs. and I asked our friends from church, Pop and Mikel, if they would be our Valentines. They said yes, so we are taking them out tomorrow.

I noticed that too! Is it the coat? And if it is, I've never seen one like that. How would it be stitched in like that? Or was he carrying something tucked in his back waistband and it was hanging down loose? Or was it a light reflection, maybe brake lights from a passing car that reflected off the shiney lining? very unusual.
I'm still not liking the hats, but it's wonderful to see Jake looking like his old happy self. I hope we get to see this a lot more in the coming days.
Austin must have been a real heartbreaker. He still is for that matter. That voice, those eyes, that smile. Off the chart charming.
13 has always been a lucky number for me. I seek it out. I even took a job that proved to be outstanding because the company executives were all on the 13th floor of the home office building. I stayed there 20 years, until they sold the company.

Ok - so round 2 of my internet adventure.
Today they came to replace the modem and bundle everything together - cable phone internet. Takes longer than expect another hole drilled into my hardwood floors (as I watch my security deposit shrinking a little) get set up try the internet, try the phone both work. Guy leaves - 5 minutes later - brand new modem dies, no phone, no internet. And one bar on the cell the charger that has been MIA for the week. Desperate using the last bar to call customer service. Earliest appt. MONDAY! Oh this will not do. Hour later another tech shows up and switches another modem. Phone works. Internet - did make sure that did. Another forty minutes on the phone, two more times to initialize the modem.
It's taken 12 calls, 4 modems and 2 technicians and I think we finally got it. Knock on wood.
Maybe my picturing The Wrestler wasn't so far-fetched after all Special.
Also another brothers reference in Luke and Owen.

Is it me or does Jake's coat look a little wide in the shoulder and narrow at the waist. And that is looks like it partially relined. The buttons look just like another coat.
