So these are the pics that poster was talking about a week or so ago of Jake RDJ and his wife(I think). Looks like he ditched the beanie since these were taken thank goodness but look RDJ has a fedora!
Interesting. You cant see who is taking the pics in the mirror. I wonder why they are all sitting on the same side of the table. Where is RDJ in the second pic.

Looking at the second pic it looks like RDJ is sitting up against the mirror. Not sure but they might have changed the seating arrangment.
I Really doubt that these pics were taken the same weekend as the pics when reese was with RDJ and wife. Spesh Can you verify that?
The camera is on the table and the guy taking the picture is the one with glasses (and beard) seen in the mirror, sitting with the 2 ladies. He didn't use the flash. Modern cameras are very sensitive and the low illumination is not a problem.
The most interesting info about Austin lately is that he's "secretive at weekends". Hmmm wonder why?

Man! Just like someone said, he can't be talking about TT & GG. So who's left? Reese? Man, that about makes me gag. LOLLL! Jake and RDJ have been friends since Zodiac, they have been out together before like to RDJ son's playing at some club in Oct. or Nov. of '07.

Well, I thought I had a yogurt in the fridge here, but uh, I think somebody else ate it. So it was a desperate dig into my little food cube under my desk and yes! Popcorn. Just as I was staring intently at these new pictures of Jake, I suddenly realized that my popcorn was popping slower & slower and I about fell out of my chair in my haste to go stop that darn microwave so it wouldn't burn again. Wouldn't that have been great. Safety is a HUGE issue here and we all laughed that it would've been horrible to have a recordable accident trying to stop burning popcorn.
Well, looks like lunch is about up.
Well, dear unreq. love, I'll have to go back & read it again, maybe. Who knows. I think Ted needs to have an answers page, like in the back of a crossword puzzle books. There won´t be any "handling" of this question because there is no way that Jakes PR/agent/manager - and according to some peope on this blog Jakes/Reese PR owns half of Hollywood - will allow a question about Austin/gay rumors during promo for one of his next films.
Your right Belle those questions will never be asked in this country. Most of the questions seems to come from interviews outside the county. But I am also waiting for a yes or no.

But it will be a private blogger like the one who posted the pics with RDJ or (like Waiting wrote) a journalist or tabloid outside the USA. The english tabloids (for ex.) couldn´t care less about the PTB in Hollywood- if they smell something they will report it.

Spesh I did feel the need to call u out. You know what I think of this site and what J and A mean to me. I am really angry as I have been about other issues. This is a day for OMG to make a mark. The babbling babblers must be drolling.
I feel more excited today about this site than I have in such a long time. Believe me I am so used to Jakes game right now it doesnt even phase me when I see what he does. But when we get things like this I feel so happy and right now I feel real let down.
At the time of the interview that brought us that "shit" quote of Austin's, the internet was constantly filled with crude alusions to what sexual positions they prefer, who's top or bottom, sex on bicyles, sex in trailers, just sex, and more often than not, Austin listed as only Jake's BF.
It wasn't the relationship rumors that was "shit", but the manner it was being portrayed in the media, like some kind of sleazy porn movie.
And Austin never really answered the question posed, but talked around it Jake style.
Rather irritating for people to bring things up from the past that either weren't there to witness them first hand, or are too lazy to actually do the research themselves.

I just got to explain how much these pictures excited me. No reeke and some nice person in a restaurant thought about my favorite site OMG.

I'm kinda speechless today, as I just saw The Reader with Kate Winslet. Outstanding film. She's remarkable in it - the entire story is remarkable. Lots of great movies this Oscar season; I can't pick a favorite!

I don't go to I Heart Jake but if I had a fan blog and the object of my fannish desire ensured that I got free pictures in a timely manner I would be thrilled. But does the webbie get all the pics all the time? If so then she/he must have accounts with all the agencies because PR would not facilitate every single picture getting to a fan site (just the good ones) and even then it's not They probably have a relationship with agencies so they contact IHJ whenever they have pictures of a JG. They are a sure sale and they'll get a discount for buying consistently.
Have you ever noticed that certain times a special picture appears in a magazine that was never online? That is because agencies give first choice to the editors. They can choose to pull an exclusive or just say post the set I'll buy at the discount rate. Sets you see online are rarely from the date stated. Except for events or on TMZ but they buy from agencies too so sometimes they're off.
Is it 2 sets of 3 bowls or 3 sets of two bowls? :)

The reason the pictures of a simple dinner are important is because they were sent to OMG. Just proves that if certain things about Jake are true he can't

Come on guys, if the person who took this picture followed Jake enough to send the pic here, he would most definitely know to get a picture of any evidence a baby dining with Jake and RDJ. The first pic looks like it's just Jake and RDJ having dinner to me and the second pic looks like Jake's alone. Looks like maybe RDJ must have left and Jake's paying the bill.

Re Ted's comment, my take is that the reference to unrequited love is to the letter writer. We are being deprived of the details of Jake/Austin's love after all, since it has to be kept a secret.
Amazing how active the Jake is straight group has been lately. I think it will continue to escalate as the POP campaign starts to unfold.
I meant to ask yesterday, did everyone watch the 3d commercials at super bowl. I was totally unimpressed.

I don't think Reese is in love with Jake at all but if this was so, it's beyond hilarious!
Something is up with Jake. He does look really haunted at times and the anger towards the paps is not his normal mild self. The question is, whether this is real or if it's some game he's playing. Time will tell. As always :)

This is a nice clip at its great to see this Jake. A thousand stills will never make up for a minute of Jake interacting with an audience,camera or interviewer. It was great to see that little sparkle and his personality. Him trying to land a joke with that little bit of awkwardness that is endearing. This is what I miss so much. I hope Jake gets in front of the camera more soon so we can see more of him.

Last week Jake spitted at the paparazzi and was running and hiding from another one.
Happy and confident celebrities don't do that.

PG, listen, I respect your feelings and I'm not the one who was making fun of your comments and I'm certainly not a babbler. The tide of nausea which hits me every time I try to read that blog is unbelievable.
But, there is one "but". What people try and do on both sides of barricade which is called "Jake Gyllenhaal's fandom" is to read into Jake's soul. IMO, we should not speculate about his feelings because the photos we see are no indication of the state of his mind whatsoever. I, personally, think he is not depressed at all. He's always had sad eyes. His eyes are sad even when he's smiling. I also hate it when people state how happy he is with Reese, how happy SHE is.
The point is: we don't know. Never will. Plus, he's an actor and he can pretend really well. We will never know what Jake Gyllenhaal looks like and thinks about when he's lying in bed before falling asleep. Whether he is smiling quietly to himself, content with his life or lying there with tears rolling down his cheeks on the pillow-only he knows. And maybe God.

Unfortunately there are some posters who only see positive things about Jake. It's Saint Jake or nothing for them. I thought that type of mentality went out with the Dark Ages, but guess not.
About not speculating about Jake's feelings, why not? we speculate about everything else about him, don't we?

I don't think there's anyone here who sees only bad things about Jake. It's just that lately specially with the bearding, there's not much "good Jake" to concentrate on.

How about not making every little thing Jake does about the bearding then? I think that would go a long way in being able to see that there is in fact "good Jake" happening as well.
Not to re-ignite a fight about how much you can read mood from a photo, but I do agree that Jake looked like a man under some emotional strain in the film fest pictures. Just my first reaction to the pictures.

An information was leaked that the poster of Jakes film PoP will be shown at a new Bruckheimer movie. First reactions were great.
Jake is (together with other colleagues) part of a video shooting of his friend/colleague J. Foxx.
Jake was a guest at a celebration of D. Fincher at the Santa Barbara FF - we have got tons of pictures, some reports and also some videos.
What does this have to do with "bearding"?

The introduction for Fincher was read from script, and was odd - to say that David Fincher has a big heart "even though this is not evident to many" - (?) - and the giant brain "figure of speech" was not esp. flattering. Speaking of himself as having a fault of "faking it" - made me uncomfortable. Ya dont have to beat yrself over the head, Jake, what's going on with you?
When God asked him what kind of brains he wanted did Jake think God said "trains" and replied he didnt want any?
You know, I really love this guy! but my respect for him has gone out of the window, and I'd love to have it back.
And I find that refusal to fault him trivializes his humanity. I want a real person, and in his joyful youth he seemed to be such a one.

you conveniently forget to mention that those 3 things happened in the last 10 days.
I think it is often hard to separate the bearding from what else is going on with Jake. Take his 3 movies. A lot of the pictures we got while he was working, including most of the pictures we got of him on the set, included Reese. Ditto with any stories about him on the set. Now that wasn't the case with the Fincher event in SB, and people are talking about what he said, etc.
Sometimes you see glimmers of something different, like yesterday's pictures of Jake in the t-shirt and jeans, but people, not surprisingly, wanted to focus on the exlusive photos and what they mean in the scheme of things.
And because what we're shown of Jake, even when he is alone, is different than the old Jake, it's hard not to attribute it to the bearding, for example, his not being seen with certain people, dressing differently, looking unhappy, etc.
I understand your frustration Stubborn, but IMO Jake and his people have deliberately chosen to make almost everything they show us about Reese and/or making Jake straight, and I for one can't get around that most of the time. There may be people here who can, but if there are, they don't seem to be posting.
And I'm not making any judgments about what people post about. I'm just speaking for myself and what I perceive to be driving what other people talk about.

Some people aren't invested in his private life like others or haven't real convictions or just do that for fun!
Evelyn and PR has achieved their main goal from the beginning, from that very first 'leaked' pic on the Rendition set: Jake is no longer seen as an individual, but an extension of Reese. One cannot be discussed without the other. They are joined at the hip, in a 'relationship' for all intents and purposes not because it's real, but because the fans have put them there by their attention paid. Even here on a blog dedicated to Jake and Austin, it is Reese, and Reeke, that garner the most comments.
As much as we have railed against The Machine, even TBers have fallen under it's relentless push towards Jake is Straight.
I'm with Stubborn. Hence forth all my posts will be completely Reese, and Reeke, free. No longer giving anyone associated with the bearding the satisfaction of seeing their evil handiword in pixels.

Making almost a year worth of working all about the few photo-ops on set that all counted together were maybe 10 at best.
That is not 90% bearding, that's more like 90% working, but people making it about bearding 100%.
If you want to play right into PRs games and talk about exactly the things they want you to talk about, fine.
I guess I'd rather spend my time finding out the things that they don't want us to know.

In PR terms, Jake's year 2008 was all about reeking and we couldn't avoid it.

We've had discussions about PoP that were not about the bearding; we talked about what we think of him doing a movie like this, his co-stars, the horse pictures and how he looks.
But the funny thing is that even Jake doesn't really seem to want it to be about the movies or his work either. Our only photos of Jake on the set of PoP came with Reese dangling off him. As for his interview, it ran on a pr-driven show that introduced him as Reese's boyfriend.
If Jake wants us to focus on him for his work, he can make it about work. Give us some photos of him working on the set with his co-stars, for starters.
And again, speaking only for myself, it's hard for me to talk about PoP when what I see is Reeke.

And as much as I can't get around the bearding right now, I'm still here and waiting and hoping, and talking about other things when I can. Can't be said of other peole who seem to have stopped posting here after the relentless bearding, not that I blame them, there are days when it's not easy.
