And just to show that we provide equal opportunity for all varieties of homage to The Bush, here is Austin's sweet tweet to his sweet.

Yea!!! I think that's really nice.

See? Chill alllll gone.

Lest we estrogen filled personnel here at OMG ever be accused of being jealous of another estrogen filled beard near one of the boys.

I think Austin's wishes was enough to cover at least for me. Thanks, Aust!

Special, there's a 3 year old's crayon rambling at the end of yesterday's post that needs a Wet Wipe taken to it, please.

Thank you.

LOL PG.

Isn't that tweet sooooo romantic. ;)

Trolly's wheels are sure getting loose, he better watch it or next thing he knows they're going to come off completely as he heads into that sharp turn.

Ha! Of course, in the end, Mr. Nichols demonstrates that he's a chivalrous guy, which we already knew. If he did not acknowledge one of his fellow cast members' birthdays that would have looked pretty douche baggie. The minor concession is called having class. Let's face it, his just after midnight post about Optimus Prime was a powerful enough message on its own.

Remember, how one of her fans wanted Soapy to be a Trending Topic today? Well that's why he did the community driven hashtag tracking convention, and typed the repetitive phrasing:

#happybirthdaysophia #happybirthdaysophia #happybirthdaysophia #happybirthdaysophia #happybirthdaysophia.

Looks like that's the gift he settled on to support the OTH online community. No Abe Vigoda video this year. Drats!

Sidenote:

Thus far, Soapy is losing to:

Trends
#butyouuglythough
#wheneverimbored
#icantgoadaywithout
BELIEBERS LIKE JUSTIN BIEBER
COOKIES HATE JAMIE LAOU
Phineas & Ferb
Geof
Barbie & Ken
Caleb King

I don't have the same trending topics on my twitter feed. Do you have a specific city ticked off?

Let Twitter now be run down to the ground from too much activity.

Oh oh - I think I've already been bitten by the bug, LOL!

They have a live feed and it's showing the motorcade zipping down the highway of L.A.

Pretty exciting!! I'm hooked and I just took one glance.

Thanks to U.S. late breaking, team coverage, media coverage!!! Only in U.S.

LOL - it reminds me of the OJ Simpson white Bronco deal.

Wow, good thing they're about at their destination. This motorcade is huge. And right during afternoon rush hour. LOL.

It would be very strange if Austin did not wish his costar a happy birthday. Even stranger since she is his beard too. Notice how his other costars never talk about the happy couple and their lives. Cue PR to have them start doing that.

Torchwood returns tonight. I did not watch last season but plan to record this years. Looking forward to seeing Barrowman again. And some man on man action.

Agree. And for whose sake? Good grief, did you see all those teen girls tweeting at him and expecting big things? Man. lol. What a mess.

Talk about disappointed. Even I am disillusioned. Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale) has posed nude for some magazine called Allure. She says "I'm 25, almost 26, but people think of me as much younger because I look young," the Wildcats star said in Allure magazine's annual Nudes issue, in which the in-the-buff star sits on a bed, revealing a tattoo on her back, among other things, as she looks over her shoulder.

"Being in this shoot was me saying, 'I'm not just the young girl everybody thinks I am. I'm actually a woman,' " she explained.

Even though Ashley's trying to prove she's all grown up now, she brought her mom to the photo shoot. "I've always wanted to be sure my parents approve of what I do," she said. "Even with my tattoos, my mom went with me. The ‘believe' tattoo is because my mom always told me to believe."
Source: Eonline via Gossip Twitter.

You know, celebs have been doing this since at least David Cassidy. But for her mom to tag along in approval? Gee whiz.

I still wish she hadn't gotten her nose job done because I think it totally changed her face. She was so cute just the way she was.

Kellie Pickler was so cute just the way she was. Now? Holy cow. Kellie has had so much plastic surgery on her face she is like Jennifer Grey. They don't even look close to how they used to look. I thought Jennifer Grey was really cute in Dirty Dancing.

Why do people do this? I don't get it.

I wish I had just now never read that story on cnn.com about the firefighter father who died while trying to reach over the railing at the Texas Rangers game. The whole story is just awful. I would suggest not reading about it if you haven't already - it'll give you nightmares. That poor son. I feel sorry also for the outfielder who threw the ball. It's too terrible for words.

I know it's a thrill to try and reach for a foul ball or a ball that a player throws into the stands but man, fans need to remember that humans just aren't born with protection for falls like that.

Oh, I wish I had never read that story.

I had to listen to that Mrs. Miller's, dare I say rendition (or maybe she deserved to be a victim of rendition) that you posted of a "Hard Day's Night," Special.

I just found out Miller was from Kansas. That sure explains alot, don't you think PG? *grin*

Exciting news in my brother's family just now. The whole fam with my mom went to the Humane Society and just picked out a new addition to the family.

She's adorable! The kids have been quite excited about this development and my nephew has been doing a lot of reading up on dogs. And today was the big day.

It was pretty hard to avoid that story about the father and the foul ball since it headlined on many sites. So sad and the ball player will have to live with that unfortunate incident the rest of his life.

prairiegirl said...

I cannot imagine. I bet he will never toss another ball up ever again. The details of that story are excruciatingly awful.

And it wasn't his fault. Ballplayers do that all the time - it's kind of like part of going to a baseball game. I didn't watch the clip - no way - so I don't know how far away he was from the stands.

Maybe if from now on, any player who throws a ball into the stands, does it from very close.

I didn't realize Nolan Ryan was president of the Rangers. Wow - that's a very high position.

There was another death in that same stadium last year. Similar circumstances. You would have thought that appropriate retrofitting would have taken place to protect the public by now. Of course, it is Texas so why would you want to regulate (translation: ensure people's safety). That would be interfering with free commerce!
