I think you're right, Special. Yesterday, the news breaks about Jake performing "Live" in an off- Broadway play, for the first time in the US, then Austin tweets this neon "Live" sign afterwards. Leiber & Stoller were be proud and, evidently, so is Austin.
What words did Austin actually put in that tweeet? Was it really "and you know the neon lights are bright on Broadway" If so that is unbelievable. :-)

I get what folks are saying about Austin's tweet. That is very clever. I missed the real message when the tweet was first posted, but figured there had to be some hidden meaning. Yes, I'm convinced he was giving a subtle shout out to the good news about Jake. Are you people always so literal? You know these two are still in the closet and they are continuing to pretend they are not together? So, of course, Austin is not going to come right out with a blunt association. To paraphrase Cassie in Brokeback Mountain, Austin doesn't say much, but he gets his point across.
Jake is supposed to be in LA today for the LA Conservation Corp event. Have a feeling he has been there all week. The way the announcement came out it makes it seem like Jake was in NYC at the time of it.

We are not going to know for sure until pictures come out from the LA Conservation event. Is it possible to make the luncheon and still make the wedding tomorrow?
I'm not sure why somebody is thrusting all these UK tweets on OMG as if it's going to devastate somebody here. Whether Jake is in London today or not is not going to make any significant difference regarding anything other than if he is in the UK today, it means Jake would have reneged on a prior commitment. Not at all an admirable move.
But I think it's impossible to say at this point what for sure is going on. It's a wait and see.

I remember that stupid Revival Tour last year and how the train mysteriously stopped in Marfa and even Lance Armstrong showed up. Busy was there too and the showed up in NY with Michelle. I'm convinced there was a Birthday celebration that Sunday. Also, you do know that B-day's can be celebrated on other days in the week. Non-closeted people do it all the time. So I would suspect closeted people might even be more prone to do so.

Fans and onlookers stood along the railroad tracks to snap shots of Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and bluegrass traditionalists Old Crow Medicine Show as they stepped off the 14-car train into the dry Texas air.
The tour, which is being filmed by director Emmett Malloy for a documentary due out this fall, is the first of its kind – an attempt to encourage creative cross-pollination among the three artists and explore alternate ways of taking a rock show on the road. Along the way, the Railroad Revival has turned into a caravan of sorts, with more than a dozen new passengers jumping on board, including actor Jake Gyllenhaal – a friend of the Mumfords' camp who decided to join the tour on a whim in San Pedro, without even bringing a change of clothes.

Though Saturday night’s show in Tempe, Arizona was the biggest on the tour, attracting more than 10,000 fans, Sunday's concert held special significance for all three bands: For Old Crow and the Mumfords, it was Easter Sunday, and they took turns reading verses and playing hymns during an on-board Easter sermon. And for the Zeros, Marfa was the site of some of their first-ever shows back in 2008 during the inaugural Marfa Film Festival.
"I knew the moment we got off the train in Marfa that it was going to be a special show," Zeros drummer Josh Colazzo told Rolling Stone. "The energy in that town is so great." Though Mumford & Sons had been closing out the previous shows, Zeros headlined in Marfa, playing their best hour-long set of the tour and showcasing a pair of new tunes – the country-inflected "Child" and "All Washed Out" that are simpler, more somber and even more immediately singable than tracks like "Home" and "Janglin."

Sorry but your ridiculous reposting of an obvious PR packaged blurb about Marfa hardly detracts from what the writer is expressing about Marfa. I also believe Austin was there. And, how would you know whether Busy Phillips was in Marfa or not? Did she consult with you on her itinerary? Give me a break. Jake cared so much about that project that he didn't even bother to show up at SXSW for the premiere.
Busy could have gone to Marfa or she could have gotten off in Tempe. The fact you find the idea of her being in Marfa repulsive tells me all I need to know. We all are aware that Austin is friends with Busy. Nothing new there.

Ok, so saying "there is no evidence that Austin was in Marfa on his birthday" contains no shouting or name calling or baiting, so that should be fine to post. And saying "Austin not being seen at Coachella was used as proof he wasn't there, but Austin not being seen at Marfa was used as proof he was there" should be fine too. That's just a statement of fact,and I can go back and find the quotes from people here who said that.

A broken-hearted drifter with a heart of gold? Sounds like something Jake Gyllenhaal could sink his hunky teeth into. The Oscar-nominated actor will appear in an off-Broadway production of the comic drama If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet.
'Smash' Star Katharine McPhee on Romance and Channeling Marilyn
Though he graced the London stage for This is Our Youth in 2002 alongside Hayden Christensen and Anna Paquin, If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet marks his first theater production on American soil.
The story largely centers on an overweight teenager named Anna, who gets bullied in school. Her mom transfers her to the school she teaches at, but that only aggravates Anna's problems. That's where Gyllenhaal comes in as her estranged uncle she strikes up a friendship with.
The play will begin previews at the Laura Pels Theatre on August 24 and will open on September 20, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
