More Gathering Into the Woods

The cast list grows for "Into the Woods" with the addition of Jack(as in Beanstalk) and Cinderella.

Deadline is reporting that Daniel Huttlestone, who starred as Gavroche in the recent film of "Les Misérables," is in talks to join the cast of the "Into the Woods" as Jack.

And Cinderella? Anna Kendrick.

Not a far fetch choice. Anna has the singing chops for the musical. For her role as "Dinah" in "High Society" on Broadway, she was nominated for a Tony Award (second youngest ever), a Drama Desk Award, and a Fany Award (best actress featured in a musical). She recently show off her singing in the movie Pitch Perfect and has had a hit on the Billboard and Itunes charts with the song Cups.

And of course it would make it easy if Cinderella already knew that Prince in real life really wasn't looking for a pretty pretty Princess but more of a Prince of a guy.

Or as Cinderella from the Real Housewives of Disney put it.

"Here's some good advice, never marry a guy who's really into shoes."

"Into the Woods" is filling up an all-star cast with Previous asting reports indicate that Emily Blunt may play the Baker's Wife, with Tony Award winner James Corden (One Man, Two Guvnors)as the Baker. Meryl Streep will play the Witch, Johnny Depp is the Wolf . Tracey Ullman was recently reported to be in talks to play Jack's Mother. Chris Pine, is Jake's brother and fellow prince and Tony Award winner Christine Baranski is also in negotiations  possibly as Prince Jake's future mother in law. She was part of a reading of the screenplay adaptation last fall, where she played Cinderella's Stepmother.

"Into the Woods" starts production in London in September with Opening Day being Christmas Day 2014.

And it will be a very musical Christmas in 2014, because not only is "Into The Woods" scheduled to open, but the collaboration of Jay-Z and Will Smith's remake of the musical Annie will open that day too.

The Actor now know as Prince

The Hollywood Reporter has an exclusive that Tracey Ullman is in negotiations to join the growing cast of Into the Woods, as the mother of Jack the Giant Killer.

What does that have to with Jake?  It's someone else on the negotiation list? Well according to the article it seems like there are no more negotiations for Jake.  It looks like he is a done deal.  He  has been crowned a (Disney) prince.

"Streep is playing a witch and Depp is taking on a variation of the fairy tale wolf. Gyllenhaal and Pine play princes to Cinderella and Rapunzel."

Handsome

Knows the suit can make the man

Cuts a dashing figure

Been a Prince for Disney before

And had practice escorting a princess who broke out in song.

Cinderella huh.

It might be a house divided some might be very excited in a small way, but one might prefer it has been Tink in a big way.

Then again if the shoe fits.

Royal Flush

Did you see those suits on Princes William and Harry. It looked like they were headed into battle. I want one. - AUS10

You know Austin would pick the guy to the right's hat to go with it if he could.

With Austin's height and carriage he would look like a Disney prince.

A little different than this Disney Prince, think he could easily see Austin as a prince charming.

One more day to get your queen on.

Tomorrow is Holland's Queen's Day.

Here's one place "celebrating" future queen Maxima.

Happy Austin Friday!

Interiors

No not the Woody Allen movie, but similar in complexity. What we see on the outside is not what is truly going on inside. Morocco is case in point. On the outside it is a canvas of neutrals, but behind its interiors lies remarkable and intense beauty.

The beauty of Morocco is staggering. Behind high walls were cool fountains and brilliantly tiled courtyards, with small pools scattered with rose petals, simple seats overlaid with richly patterned rugs and cushions and bedroom walls glowing with polished pearly tadlakt glaze (made with lime, marble dust and egg white). The Moorish lights piercing the walls with slivers of light.

From passionate red of the paprika spice to the intense blue of the Mediterranean and the shimmering yellow of the Sahara. You can almost feel the decor as if it were alive! In fact one of the spectacular Moroccan decor is created with an intense blue as is there at Jardin Majorelle located in Marrakesh. There is no way you can fall in love with the blue color. The blue is unique because no one has ever been able to copy it.

Jake spent time at the Jardin Majorelle, the former resident of Yves St. Laurent, no doubt enjoying the not only the amazing interiors but the incredible gardens and aviary as well.

Now to think what the home of a 6th century Persian prince will be, the setting dressing for Prince of Persia interiors are going to take your breath away, if this is the Morocco of today.

Jake of course has worked in Morocco before, filming Rendition. But this time you suspect he is experience the cultural in a new way, completely immersing himself in it. Wonder if Jake will bring some of the Moorish influence back with him? The food? The furnishing? The rugs? The tiles? The garden design? The intense colors?

The colors, the textures, the scents, the heat of the desert day and the coolness of its nights and shadows. How could you not fall under its seduction, or seduce someone yourself.

All the King's Man

Every good king or prince needs supporters, those in the court who are there for them. It is a lonely job, everyone watching everything you do, many adoring you, more fascinated with who you're with, where you were at, what you wore, and some waiting to see you slip up. Sure you have the riches of the world, the love and adoration of the public, and whatever you desire will be done for you, but it is a lonely job, not sure who to trust, never sure who can see the real you, because any weakness could be exploited for someone else's gain. One life behind the walls and one life for the public. Sounds like Hollywood, doesn't it?

Even the consorts can't be be trusted, as they seek their own advantage by your folly or mistakes. But a supporter, a close confident, a second that is who you lean and rely on. Held close he may not always been see in the public but behind close doors he is the one person the rest of the court acknowledges at being the strongest besides the prince. In fact in a way he maybe stronger because he is the pillar that the prince leans upon.

But this second is definitely first in this prince's heart.

OMG Olympic Moments
Cycling - Road
Scottish blacksmith Kirkpatrick MacMillan gave bicycle racing its first big boost back in 1839 when he devised a pedal-and-crank mechanism to power the two-wheeled machines. Until then, bicycles were pushed along by the feet. It rather limited their racing potential.

In the 1880s, cycling took another leap forward with the development of the chain-and-gearing system. With that, bikes evolved from the awkward penny-farthing style to the sleeker shape so familiar today. Since then, the sport's evolution has been a steady climb as athletes and engineers experiment with anything that might shave a few seconds off their times.

The sport's boom in the late 19th century made it a natural for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. That inaugural Olympic road race was held on the marathon course, with riders completing two laps covering a total of 87 kilometres. Almost a century passed before women got their chance to race in 1984, and, 12 years later, at the 1996 Atlanta Games, time trials were introduced.

Of course OMG would use bicycle and not just cycle because it is one of the few times that the prefix bi can get by the spin in the context of Jake and Austin. A sport that is more Jake's it is sweet to see how Austin hopped on a bike and rode sharing it with him. Austin may not be the cyclist Jake is but he was there for him. Gotta say there's something to seeing Austin's protective vibe come out when it comes to his man.
