Vivo is a restaurant who's tag is Better than sex ....Tex Mex. And at their new North Austin location strictly enforcer 18 and over establishment, and it's not because of the bar.
The darkly lit new location boasts lots of booths, and dark corners that should make things a little harder. (ahem) They have 8 different varieties of margaritas, and food (and yes even healthy tofu and brown rice) that they claim to be "better than sex", which is debatable from reviews, but bet its better than sex after 8 different varieties of margaritas. Oh yeah, and then there's the tastefully erotic paintings on the walls.

"Goose has a family now". To me family implies more than one child but maybe I am reading too much into that. But for sure, Toothy and Goose have a child. Ted has made that abundantly clear.
I'd prefer to stick with the name Baby Tile, which is what Ted uses. I've grown fond of that name.

Ted has hinted more than a few times about a second baby. And I agree M, family to me sounds like more than one child.
Of course I use all kinds of ways to mention babies, from gosslings, tiny texans, to gyllensmalls, but all goes back to BT.
Oh, I didn't want to start a big debate. We were just throwing that idea around. LOL, I still like Junior.
I don't know what all the discussion was about the ads this morning; I can't say anything since I didn't see 3/4 of them. I was in & out of the rooms, doing laundry, playing with Curly, etc.
But I agree with whoever said there can be power in boycotting products, services, etc. Boycotting a particular TV show could be effective as far as advertisers but I would think that'd be a little harder.
Don't ever underestimate the power of the consumer. We all have it (in a good way, not in a bad way) by withholding or steering in a different direction. That's because it hits in the manufacturer's backpocket. And they can't have that.
Oh, and I like tiny Texans. That one killed me.
And a big LOL on the first picture post today. That's got to be my favorite candid pic.

I watch it PG, but I don't think OTH has been very good this year, and Austin hasn't had much to do. I do like Alex's character, and I like Robert Buckley, but it just feels a bit groundless, and the story lines seem even more unbelievable and/or less interesting than last year. Or maybe the novelty has just worn off for me. I keep watching though.
I still miss Hilarie Burton, and I do think her storyline, at least for me, made me want to watch and root for the character. Felt that way about Sophia and Brulian at first too, but they ruined that.
I like gosling(s). :)

It is way just too weird to announce something that has David's name in it when David is not celeb. Obviously they just couldn't use a friend's birthday because of even in Austin, they think it's Austin.
The rumors must have been rampant about why Jake was in Austin if they had to make announcement through the paper.
Even more interesting its happens after a picture of him in Austin shows up on twitter.
Find it interesting that Jake either came days and days before the party or he's staying after the party, seems like David's party might not be the only reason he's in town.
It does have the feel of clean-up to it. Of course I'm sure that something like that just gives him an excuse/cover to be there.

If you are going to be in another city for a long weekend doubt you'd lug your bike there. You'd rent one just like you would a car.

It's not like hasn't been to Austin more than one occasion, and remember in past trips he was seen shopping at cycle shops.
Rent a bike?! LOL I'm sure Lance Armstrong has more than 1 bike laying around. And Jake could keep a spare bike in whoever's garage. In my experience as soon as I get a newer bike with all the new bells and whistles I keep the old one as a spare at home for someone else to ride, or I leave it at a friend's house so I'll have a bike there. Jake's been thru a few bikes himself so who knows where they all are.

I know OTH is trying to deal with real issues but I don't know how close they can come to realistically conveying a parent's impending loss to cancer. That's a pretty tall order to hit in 60 minutes. I still don't handle that subject very well and I was bawling before the show was even over and I've never even seen that character before, lol. Bess Armstrong. Remember her? Boy, this show brings back all the oldsters, doesn't it? Trapper John, Melrose Place, and now Bess Armstrong.
I loved that scene where Julian was trying to bring out the best in a scene from Alex. Why don't they get those 2 together?!!!!

I was watching one of those emotional scenes on OTH with the mom and her daughters and right in the middle of it, I hear this "Riiiippppp!" and Curly is just yanking the heck out of his new toy, beheading it and stuffing all over the floor. I had to laugh. He mangled that thing.

Awwww, he's really a softie. But here's his rules:
1) don't let him near kids
2) If I have any family or friends over, hold onto him until I see how he's going to react to them
3) when I take him walking, if we come across another dog, I should maybe take him to the other side of the street.
lol. When I came over for the first time to meet him, Daddy held on to him and told me not to touch him. So you can't really touch his parents in front of him, at least when you first meet him. He'll see it as threatening.
He's very loving and he's very, very good. I just have to make sure everything is up out of his reach because he can tear things up if he wants to. And leave bathroom doors shut at all times! lol.
Lots of rules, huh? But really, so far, he's been one of my easiest charges ever. He's so good. He's definitely a bedhog, tho.

Austin's story line was better tonight, but yeah, the rest of it left a lot to be desired.
I like Julian working the scene with Alex. I like him with his dad. Hey I even liked him with Jamie. But Julian with Brooke it just seems like they suck all the great parts out of him and turn it into the All about Brooke show. What was that line Alexander said to her, I was groaning it was so over the top about how great she is.
The shirts are still out for Austin in this episode. Looks like someone was cooking and fed his man well over the holidays. Who loves to cook and is good at it too? It's too cute.
Curly, the name make me think of a dog spinning around the room whenever the Three Stooges come on.
