Fabulous Finger Oscar Picker

There's something nice when the large piece of faux to the left of Austin is the least accessory in the picture.

Austy sweetie! Loving that - and using one of your fav phrases - Big Ass cocktail ring you're sporting on your finger. Because if you have to drag  faux out on an industry night, it's only fair you get to wear a fabulous faux too. Because who are you kidding, everyone attends these soirees already knows who you're really with and having been coming with to the Oscar parties for the last 10 plus years.  (This year - the equivalent of taking your cousin to the prom)

Or is that gold band doing that for you? Making sure people know this man is off the market.  Nice to see it's back.

Past, Present, Furture in a Week

Sunday started out with Jake sitting down with Denis to talk about Enemy


And a month of pancakes,  Jake was back to his healthier self, no more super skinny mini.

While he gained back the weight he lost the faux, with the announcement of his "break up".

After a couple days Jake's snapped as if to say he's back in action.  Is this equivalent of when girls get dressed up in their sexiest outfit and go out to show - "I'm so over them" ? 

But now it's back to business.  And before Jake starts climbing that mountain there a flurry of Enemy press.

Friday the poster, on set pics and "oddly paced" trailer  were made the rounds.

With tweets putting him in NYC and LA this weekend, it sounds like he brought his twin back.  That's the only way to be in two places at once. (Right?)

Now it's not sure if Jake will be enjoying the Golden Globe parties either in LA or NY because  he is set to start filming Everest Monday (Jan 13).  According sources filming is expected to mainly take place in Val Senales, Trentino Alto-Adige, Italy.  (Trading those pancakes for pasta there, Jake)

Let's just hope he knows his way around the mountain.

Tag In - Tag Out

Just as pictures of Austin with his AGENTS co-star pop up to stretch the story a little longer,

Jake's has snapped.

It's faux no mo' for the tale of Jake and Alyssa.  According to US Weekly  ie the "official" story - they split after he finished up Nightcrawler and around the holidays. - But come on - Jake did three weeks of pictures back in July got them all out of the way and said No Mas! and it was up to Alyssa to make it look like something it clearly was not.  And it was clearly related to the rollout of Prisoners - look how she popped up in Toronto never to be seen by his side again. (Jake cue up One Night Only from Dreamgirls)

Seriously if you pick the dog to do pictures with over your "date" - you sent out the message you were done

But as the rags say - Jake's back on the scene - (like a sex machine? - Ohh James Brown!)

What scene has Jake ever been on?  The pancake and coffee house scene of the lower East side and Brooklyn?  The now passe kale scene? The "I drank kombucha before it was popular" scene?  Or "Soul Cycle is sooo over" scene?  Maybe.

But dating scene? - Really? When has that ever been?

But now he won't need to be because he's tagged out (and doesn't have to drag anyone on the red carpet to any award shows that he might show up at) and Austin's tagged back in.


Ditch the dates and just stick with the real deal - because you are more in step than you have ever been together than with any of the rest of them combined.

Faux No More

The writing has been on the wall for since back when Austin tweeted:

"May the bridges I burn light the way." - AUS10 (May 29, 2011)

It was only once in June that we saw Austin and his co-star out together publicly. And even then it was strained.
While it took some time to wind down and slowed to barely registering during filming the last season once filming was officially done it became in more apparent that it was circling the drain if anyone one was paying attention they weren't even trying to make it look like they had a relationship as they persued their own lives, when finally the rumbles of break up grew louder and louder from fans of the show. And the final announcement of moving on down the road came via US Weekly.
Timing is everything as it is for this break up announcement.

But it doesn't seem like Austin is going to doing a Bridgette Jones of eating the contents of one's fridge, and choosing vodka and Chaka Kahn.

Think he will be just fine with beer and bear or two.
And yes, that bridge lit the way, to way way much more.
