Bunned up

Couldn't end the week without Jake show off his buns again.

His petite little buns
Well ones that's don't get pulled from every media outlet.

From the looks of it Jake's got the man bun down pat as opposed to the others that may get the occasional pat down.

Rooting for it

After another week of filming in Italy Jake and crew are taken a weekend break from filming. And from many mentions it looks like he's bucking those Italian espressos and cappuccinos by grabbing his in the Covent Garden section of London. (Now tea, that would be understandable)

But Jake will be going a bit further for dinner next month.

Jake will travel back to New York for a multi-course meal prepared by a number of New York City’s best chef for Edible Schoolyard NYC’s second annual spring benefit on Monday, April 7.  Jake is the honorary Co-Chair of  "Putting Down Roots” and on that theme The Root's Questlove, who won't be on the preschool ornaments like on The Tonight Show, will be on the turntables.

The evening’s proceeds will benefit Edible Schoolyard NYC and has Culinary Chair and Momofuku founder David Chang assembling a cast of the city’s hottest chefs to each design and prepare an intimate, open-kitchen, four-course dinner for an individual table.

Take a look at the incredible lineup of participating chefs below:

Einat Admony, Balaboosta
Michael Anthony, Gramercy Tavern
Joaquin Baca, The Brooklyn Star
Jonathan Benno, Lincoln Ristorante
Fredrik Berselius, Aska
April Bloomfield, The Spotted Pig
Danny Bowien, Mission Chinese Food
Marco Canora, Hearth
Frank Castronovo & Frank Falcinelli, Prime Meats
David Chang, Momofuku
Tom Colicchio, Craft
Joel Harrington, Red Rooster Harlem
Brooks Headley & Mark Ladner, Del Posto
Joel Hough, il Buco
Gavin Kaysen, Café Boulud
Anita Lo, Annisa
Ignacio Mattos, Estela
Joe Ogrodnek & Walker Stern, Battersby
Kevin and Alex Pemoulie, Thirty Acres
Alexandra Raij, Txikito
Ruth Rogers, The River Café
, London
Justin Smillie, il Buco Alimentari e Vineria
Alex Stupak, Empellón
Rich Torrisi, Torrisi Italian Specialties
Christina Tosi, Momofuku Milk Bar

It looks like he might be having some culinary company from both London and Italy that night too.

Fabulous Finger Oscar Picker

There's something nice when the large piece of faux to the left of Austin is the least accessory in the picture.

Austy sweetie! Loving that - and using one of your fav phrases - Big Ass cocktail ring you're sporting on your finger. Because if you have to drag  faux out on an industry night, it's only fair you get to wear a fabulous faux too. Because who are you kidding, everyone attends these soirees already knows who you're really with and having been coming with to the Oscar parties for the last 10 plus years.  (This year - the equivalent of taking your cousin to the prom)

Or is that gold band doing that for you? Making sure people know this man is off the market.  Nice to see it's back.

(You know it always goes with everything.)

Kind a like this fella.   Who's flashing his more and more.

Speaking of which - is this pic your shout out to your favorite picker?

One tip - if you guys want the universal symbol for I've gotta secret - it's tapping the OUTSIDE the nose with your finger. (Pass the word)

And you can see your mani better too.

Roman Holiday

Once Jake got to Rome (or decided to let people know he was in Rome) he made sure that people knew he was there.

Here's Jake on set with one of his cast mates

And then with his cast mates off set

More Familia?  or Villaggio?

Will have to wait and see.

On Big Rock Digital Mountain

OMG wondered when the first pictures of Jake actually filming Everest and the answer came pretty quick with a set of picture of Jake filming.

We kidded about bringing on the green screen and whoop! there it is in all of it's green glory.

While the backdrop, rocks and snow are faux, Jake's tresses are not.  Check out those long locks.  Guess he wasn't a fan of the extensions from PoP and went for the real thing.

It is a bit ironic that the Michelin stars for fine dining were announced the day before. With Jake's love of great food and that snow suit he would have made the perfect spokesman. (All kidding aside - that color was picked especially for Jake - without a doubt. Just picture how that blue is going to bring out his eyes in a backdrop of all that snow. Even more important because that will one of the very few parts of Jake that won't always be covered up.

All roads lead to Rome

Jake has been found and it looks like it movie magic time

Jake was photographed today in Rome out for dinner a stroll and bit of tour at local church.

The Church of St. Louis of the French (Italian: San Luigi dei Francesi, French: Saint Louis des Français, Latin: S. Ludovici Francorum de Urbe) is a Roman Catholic church in Rome, not far from Piazza Navona. The church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, to St. Denis the Areopagite and St. Louis IX, king of France. The church was designed by Giacomo della Porta and built by Domenico Fontana between 1518 and 1589, and completed through the personal intervention of Catherine de' Medici, who donated to it some property in the area. It is the national church in Rome of France.

The church's most famous item is the cycle of paintings in the Contarelli Chapel, painted by the Baroque master Caravaggio in 1599-1600 about the life of St. Matthew. This include the three world-renowned canvases of The Calling of St Matthew, The Inspiration of Saint Matthew, The Martyrdom of Saint Matthew.

But that might not be only church he saw today.  A tweet of Jake from inside San Pietro (St. Peter's) appeared this afternoon too.

Everest is set to start filming on set in Rome for part of the movie before moving on to Pinewood Studios in England.

From the looks of him, Jake looks like he is ready to be captive on the side of a mountain, but he does get some points for carrying an actual book to read. (#booklove)

Eurotrip

All work and no play make Jake a dull boy. So Jake slipped a little shopping and dinner into the schedule interviews, photocalls and autographs.

Jake didn't hat shop at a Borsalino store alone, he was joined with Duncan and his girlfriend, and ever present security.

Should we start looking out for his summer fedora or someone else's?
Then it was out for dinner at Antica Pesa, one of the oldest restaurants in Rome.

Jake is in Berlin camera ready and ready to go for his next photocall.

(blend Jake, blend )

And hat shopping there? Think Austin's got a lid on that.

One curious thing you might not have seen. For those who went and saw Source Code this past week, you probably saw the Hangover II trailer. Well anyone going this weekend won't.

Tuesday Warner Bros. sent out a notice to all theater owners saying that all copies of the trailer "to remove and delete" and all current placements, including and especially Source Code, need to be removed immediately.

Later Warners released a statement saying, "In our haste to meet the placement schedule for this trailer, we failed to properly vet the final version with the MPAA. We acted immediately to correct the mistake and removed the trailer from screens."

Well that green card at the beginning of the trailer means that it was approved by the MPAA for the audience. So what's up? And why Source Code specifically?

JoBlo.com thinks it could be any of the following lines in the trailer: "bitches", "whore in Las Vegas","gay boys" or the monkey "nibbling on the weenus" that's a part of the reason for it being pulled.

Some may think Source Code was singled out was because families complained. But it could be Summit who put the pressure on them. Maybe they wanted to distant themselves from something like The Hangover? Or maybe getting heat from people associated with their biggest franchise money maker?

When the "Paranormal Activity 2" trailer was pulled after "numerous complaints" that it was too scary for the general public, a lot of people suspected that it was a stunt to get more press for the film. Something to think about.
