Re-Leaded

Gotta love all the contributions that have come to OMG all these years day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, people have shared to help make OMG.

Back in August of 2010 a running blog posted that Jake was seen at Leadville CO, for the 100 mile run with his brother in law Peter.

And then 4 years ago, this month, the 9th in fact Prairie Girl helped figure it out that it wasn't  just Peter that was there with Jake but Austin too.

 And because you just love those red arrows and circles.

 Jake was even snapping pics with fans who spotted him.

Now we get to see Leadville for ourselves.

But this time it's Austin who is responsible for creating the mystery of this picture.Do you see it?

Well beside the fact that his dress like a lumberjack (plaid) hitchhiker (Patagonia hat).

While the Crazy Tree universe is celebrating an anniversary today (#8) every Friday here at OMG is for our favorite tall as tree fella.

Barefootin'

Add another pair of funky footwear to Austin's shoe collection, but this one may make him a Leadfoot.

And OTH fan tweeted that :

Just a funkier version of the barefoot running shoes that are part of the movement that author Christopher McDougall writes about in his book Born to Run.Jake and Peter running in a less funky version of barefoot running shoes.

Which is the book that Peter is planning to do a movie about, and headed to meet the McDougall at Leadville last year to check it all out. And who else was there?

Hmmm.

Many took this as a little breadcrumb he threw out there about Jake and Leadville, and maybe a little hint about being there.

But did we find the breadcrumb and miss the anvil?

Prairie Girl was on the hunt for shoes and socks today (inspired by Austin's interesting twit pic)and saw this picture from Leadville again.


Most of the focus was if that Jake (Stand Up 2 Cancer hat) and Peter (fedora) but PG looked over the shoulder and saw someone else. The Twitter from Texas?

Now a little background, Austin had been Detroit the week before filming LOL in Detroit. On OTH they want him to look young, so nothing more scruff.

But for LOL he plays a teacher, he going to need to look older than the late teen/early 20 somethings in the movie playing high school kids, could that be explanation for the fuller beard and mustache? He finished filming on in Detroit on Thursday. This picture was taken on Friday.

The strong jaw, the ear, and the long arms, all look like the Texas Tweeter.

While they both have beards; is this the beardless picture of Jake and Austin of the summer?




Speaking of Austin, TX, that is Austin City Limits is in full swing in and one tweet has a mention of certain fella being there.
Might be more breadcrumbs than anvils, but then again .....
