Rules of Engagement

A housekeeping note:

For a while now we've had to keep the blog on moderation, and there's no real fun in that for anyone.  It cuts down on the interaction, things need to be released (and we try to release them as soon as they come in the queue) and it slows things down.

When OMG started we let everyone come and comment and said all we wanted is them to give themselves a name be it for a post, a day, a week or forever.  We need to amend this a bit so we can go back to have open interaction like we did

We are asking that you use a Google account to now post.  Many of you already have a Google/Blogger ID so it will be no difference for you.  For others it will just take a few minutes to set up a Google/Blogger ID.

Re-Leaded

Gotta love all the contributions that have come to OMG all these years day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year, people have shared to help make OMG.

Back in August of 2010 a running blog posted that Jake was seen at Leadville CO, for the 100 mile run with his brother in law Peter.

And then 4 years ago, this month, the 9th in fact Prairie Girl helped figure it out that it wasn't  just Peter that was there with Jake but Austin too.

 And because you just love those red arrows and circles.

 Jake was even snapping pics with fans who spotted him.

Now we get to see Leadville for ourselves.

On the Road Again

A couple of weeks ago OMG was on the road and posting from multiple locations.

After a visit to the prairie to see family and friends - Hello PG!

OMG went on with an impromptu Westward Ho!

And got to visit some more OMG'ers

 And those who were there - I'll let you share - first.

The best part of the blog is meeting the people who come here.  It has been wonderful to meet so many great friends in person. I really hope I can meet more of you.

Obviously Austin wanted to tell that he's back in LA.

And specifically Studio City @ 2:46pm

But what else is he telling?

He's near CBS Studios or the bus stop for it.

He's got 446 pictures on that phone. (Who wonders what the 400 he doesn't share are of?)

He's got a low battery.

And has Verizon LTE  4G for his (A little help here Apple fans ... is that a Iphone?)

And he loves him some public art.

But hey buddy anything else you're trying to say?

Why...?

This is why

Because after a decade and all that has come with it comes down to this:

but him

and has since they met

Even behind all that hair and beard it still shines through:

So why?   Why OMG?

Something so extraordinary should be cherished and celebrated.
