Then mysteriously the caption was this when you went to the People site:

So did the tweeter from People get a whisker too close to the truth in it's awkwardness?

Jake is in NY right?

Well....it doesn't look like it sometime in the last week Jake was in LA.

How?

Because there is a video of him at the Dr.'s office in Beverly Hills this week and is driving the family truckster - the black Audi this time




And we know by the hair it's recent because that is the hair cut he has currently.


Now why didn't he want the paps to see him?

Could it have been that he was supposed to be in NY?

Because when is the last time there was a big splash in People about what Jake was doing?

Oh right yesterday talking about Jake and Jay-Z catching the NCAA championship game at the 40/40 club on Monday April 8th.

When was the video of him at the Dr?  It was uploaded Saturday April 6th.

Now could it be that that splashy story was to cover Jake's trip back to NY this week?

Could it be to make it look like he wasn't in LA last weekend (despite all the tweets of him  NYC)?

Or could it be a distraction for him to get back on the West Coast this weekend?

Or maybe it is all of the above.


And speaking of covering their tracks, when is the last time Austin tweeted exactly what he was doing on a Saturday night.

In the eye of the beholder

He's made their most beautiful and sexiest lists before, but this year they just focused on one of his attributes. People Magazine says Jake's got a chest to be thankful for:
And while there's not much argument in that, there's a lot more that make up the man.

One thing is his kind heart and giving back to others.Back in March when Jake was promoting Source Code in NY, he took time off in the middle of the media blitz to help host and play Master of Ceremonies for New Eyes' silent auction.


The auction raised $15,000 and the chance to give more people the gift of sight.
It's not all just show and go for Jake. In the spring of 2010 he became a member of New Eyes' board.

With all the time he has spent on the East Coast he can definitely make the meetings.
