Love - Set - Match

Jake was at the US Open yesterday. I wonder if he if was trying to get some tips from Roger Federer? It isn't everyday that your (doubles) partner was mentored by tennis great Pat Cash.

On or off the court this pair is a perfect match.

Why haven't we seen the dynamic duo more? Well if you played Center Court every time it would be just another court, nothing special. Sometimes you have to save the blockbusters for just what they are -- once in a lifetime events!

Are you in for the whole tour? I am.

Special K I like your wordplay.

Austin was so cute back then. Now I think he's handsome hot. Is there such a thing?

Sweet post. I wonder where the tour will go next? I hope Austin is OK.

Too bad Austin had such a small role in W. I think his character could have brought more interesting twists to the plot but there wasn't much to play with.

Also I wonder what sport A will have to master in his next film!

I like the way "handsome hot" sounds. I think Austin is both, and I don't think everyone who is handsome is hot or vice versa.

Count me in for the whole tour!!!!

I agree, ag - from cute to handsome hot - very apt description of him.

I'm here for the duration, special, even though I hate roller-coasters.

Count me in too, although deep down in my heart I'm sad they have to make so many detours.

Well it looks like Toronto was over in a flash.

Here is a sighting of Jake on Sat, the 8th from Gawker.

2:00pm

I walked into Momofuko Ssam this afternoon for lunch and we saw him sitting there with his 2 male friends. Jake Gyllenhaal is extremely extremely attractive in person. He is also one of those celebrities who looks around and observes people so he seems friendly. Or do celebrities do that to make sure they're getting noticed? He doesn't strike me as that kinda person though. Anyways, he looked more slender than he does in the movies but not in a bad way, he is just really too handsome.

A quick thought (I really shouldn't be posting now): How about adding the link to HBO's JFC board in the "Places We Go" section?

A friend just sent me a link about a theater production of Donnie Darko in Cambridge. I find it impossible to think of anyone but Jake in that role.

www.amrep.org/darko/ (Sorry, I can't remember how to link.)

Here is a link for a video package of movies from TIFF via EW.com

The first minute is about Rendition with a interview Reese and Jake, both on the red carpet, and another glimpse of Jake in the movie.

Enjoy Jake and stay and enjoy the rest of the other movies too.

Thanks Destiny!

The A.R.T. does great productions. Former roommate worked there as a "assistant to the assistant director" --yeah you can imagine what he did.

I agree I can not imagine anyone but Jake as Donnie. But I may just have to check this out.

Also here are some notes on the A.R.T. production.

And the link that Destiny gave:

^ Sorry the Filling In the Holes is not about the production but shows preview pictures from the production.
The article is giving the back story on the cult following of Donnie Darko.

Hey thank you guys for the great links, and to Rattler for the wonderful review of rendition, sorry I was late to post on the old thread, but very appreciated! Also, very appreciated that in the circus of wild speculations going on at this time we could at least keep the focus on this movie, for some time. Cannot wait to see it. Ciao

Here is a link for an interview with Jake at TIFF.

Despite the description summary, this interview is focused only the movie and Jake's work in it.

Video - Hello Magazine at TIFF 07

There are some great candid red carpet shots in the photo section.

I hate that Enquirer article.

Austin does look cute in that shot (the NE) one.
