truth hurts - I actually agree that some, not all, of the comments may go too far. There are many posters on her, myself included, who have never said a word for good or bad about Reese.
The fact that you call yourself "truth hurts" telegraphs your bias, however.
The point is that many think it is far from established that this (Jake and Reese) is a true image of Jake's life. I don't believe that it is merely your sense of decency that is offended.

Hi max, if it makes it easier for you, then believe that. I am appalled to see what became of a lot of people here and I am not primarly interested in lifes of people I never met. I do though take an interest in causes people fight for and I do care how the people claiming to do so present themselves. To be bitchy is one thing. To descend into smearing and degrading people is another. And it is not about Reeke. It is about people commenting here.
You do what you want to do here. Take a dive into the negativity and enjoy it, if this is what you want.
PR's new tactic is to try to shame the Jake fans into at least not saying anything negative.

I agree with you but clearly he isn't very bright. But also remember, he is a spoiled, self-entitled, privileged Mama's boy himself so this is par for the course. We all fell in love with Jack Twist and Jake is about as far from Jack as you can get.
Reese reminds me of one of those head cheerleader types, the kind the parents and teachers adore, the one who always sucks up to them and gives them a phony smile, yet behind the scenes, viciously torments and abuses the geeks, freaks and others who aren't as cool as her. (I find it ironic that the very people who keep defending this stuck up bitch are the same people that she would probably torment in high school--or treat like the gunk on her shoe). US Weekly has the new pics
US Weekly is saying that the family outing was on Sat. Could it be that the photo shoot troop just moved location? Did a round early with just with Jeese, then did the whole Family Fun Time at the Park, and then Jeese was called back for another round of Jeese Koffee Klatshing?
That would explain the plaid (and so not Jake's style)shirt coat, and the two different cups of coffee.
People, I somewhat agree with (truth hurts). I've been around OMG and WFT since beginning. Let's just remember why this blog was created. US Weekly says the pics are from 12/30, that would be Sunday, Saturday was 12/29.
On Saturday it appeared that at one point he took off the plaid shirt because he had a black sweater type shirt on, the jeans and boots, etc are the same and you can see the black shirt peeking through the plaid shirt. I think he wears the plaid shirt as a jacket type thingy. The 2 different coffee cups IMO are probably because they were wandering around from morning (breakfast) to shopping later on.
Flynet is pretty johnny on the spot and quick in posting their pics, so it may be that Us made an error and meant 12/31, Flynet posted them on 1/1 and said they took them yesterday, 12/31 and Flynet is their source.
The photo-shoot was all on Sat but they were sighted on NY eve being all romantic.
Kinda sad to see praise for Wicked and Special yesterday and then this today. Guys you always do a great job remember that.
Hey I was wrong about the dates. I admit my mistakes.
Naw, two seperate days, Saturday and Sunday or perhaps Monday, it wouldn't be the 1st time Us weekly or any other rag for that matter got it wrong. Again the source was Flynet and it clearly says on their site it was taken on 12/31 a Sunday, they posted it on 1/1, most likely a type-o from some bored intern.
Besides the pictures with the kids were apparently of interest to them and not the others taken on Saturday since they didn't bother to post them.
So why were the pictures on Saturday so devoid of romance and then the sighting on NY with no photos emphasizing how real they are?

I think there's someone at DC who does knows Jake (but doesn't advertise it) because theyve said things about Jake before Jake makes them known and posted pics never seen before. This person also seems to know where he is all the time and all his habits (& that he reads DC!). And they make fun of him, in a funny good way. So if Jake reads OMG hes prolly laughing his arse off at Special K's great LMAO ads.
Why are you confused? Most of the blog sightings of them being intimate are usually not backed up by pics with the exception of Napa Valley, and when he was in SF for the weekend with her and the kids (The picture of them walking on the pier doesn't count)so the NY Eve sighting is as per usual. The concert wasn't anything major, if it wasn't for the google alert, no one would have even known that that concert took place. I don't recall seeing pics of the concert on any sites yet.

I still can’t say I’m positive about the status of the Jaustin relationship but I feel pretty sure that Reeke is not real. Jake hasn’t looked truly happy in the longest time – when you’re madly in love (like J&R are supposed to be) you can’t hide your joy. Even when you’re trying to look serious a smile is usually hard to suppress. I personally have no interest in Reeke at all. My interest in Jake stems from his remarkable portrayal of Jack Twist and my belief that he was in a relationship with Austin and struggling to find a way of balancing that while being successful in a very closeted industry. I haven’t lost faith that Jaustin will surface again. I’m just not sure that it will be anytime soon.
BTW, thanks for the commercial closet link – was that Jake on the cover of Entertainment Weekly for TDAT? :) It’s nice to see that some industries are interested in reflecting reality in their marketing campaigns.

While everyone thinks that HW would be the agent of change it is the advertisers who have the most power. GLTB positive images and messages in advertising will help change attitudes and outlooks.
Forgot to say this DC person took a vacation last amy or June, and when they were gone so was Jake. No sitings, no pics, nothing. And the day they came back and posted to DC was the same day Jake reappearred in the airport to NY pics (the nxt afternoon, but the timing was right), looking all tired&sexed out, most people thought. so maybe this person is Austin or, someone else? Wish no. 1: That Reeke stop using the kids in ways that are distressing to them.
In the Abbie/Ava pics, which have obviously been ordered by PR too, Ava is relaxed and apparently undisturbed by the photographer or at least by the reaction of her adult companion to that pap.
In the latest Reeke pics, either the kids are displeased by a sudden, unplanned and unwanted outing, or they are distressed by the paps - whom I'm convinced have been called by Reeke publicists - or are simply reacting to their mom's and Jake's attitude who pretend to be upset by this "stalkering".
If Reese is the good mother people say she is, she obviously thinks there won't be lasting damage to the kids. My hope is that we read somewhere, and very soon, that Reeke are once again on the DL to protect the kids.
Wish no. 2: That the regulars stop engaging trolls once and for all. Sorry, I don't believe in the good intentions of those who say they can't refrain to respond to them. Absolutely none. But I've already made my feelings pretty clear on that subject so I'll stop here.

I will say that if a PR firm is going to put these kinds of things out for public consumption for any actor, they must realize, and accept, that there will be opinions, both positive and negative, and unfortunately, some that go over the top too. In short, we can be offered something, but we don't have to buy it.
I also watched an interesting program on one of the morning shows today about kids are accompanying their presidential candidate parents on the campaign trail to cute oooohs and aaaahs all across the country. Don't think for a minute that an actor couldn't or wouldn't do the same. Anything can happen, and probably does.

And the choice of Bowie is great now only because of the song, but because Bowie is someone who had the courage to admit to his bisexuality. Several years back in an interview he said that doing so at the time had hurt his career in the U.S. but not the U.K. Maybe he sold a few less records, but in the long run he has had a very successful career.

You win the prize for the pick up on Bowie. When he came out as Bi was in the 70's it was not that long after Stonewall here in the States, talk about stepping out. And at the height of Ziggy Stardust and Bowie's gender bender ways. Pretty heady even for the 70's. But look, that was just a slice of Bowie's life and career, it didn't stop then, he didn't drop off the face of the earth, he didn't stop selling albums, he didn't stop being a superstar. Before people say that he "straightened" up to gain his success. Bowie follows his own beats. He lives his life how he feels he needs to live it at the moment he is in.

An online gossip site Celebridiot "Because Celebs Are Idiots Too!" had the LA Park pics and this is what they had to say:

Seems like TMZ and some of the others are picking up the Park pics, saying how Jake is bonding with the kids, blah blah. But its a good sign I think that no one has said anything or posted pics about the Rufus concert besides that hairdo blogger. Gawd lets hope she was mistaken, or just wanted to say she saw Reese to give her a lead into plugging her blonding techniques to the masses.
Indeed, Bowie did not straighten up for succeess, it was more a case of his being open to different experiences and the occassional relationship with men. The story his first wife Angie always told is that she met David when they were both going out with the same man. There is also the story (which Angie may have later retracted) about seeing Mick Jagger leaving Bowie's bedroom one morning.
I always heard it that Angie found Mick in Bowie's bed one morning and brought them both breakfast in bed!
All the Bowie/Angie stories makes me want to watch Velvet Goldmine again.

Wrt Bowie, I read something where he said he was confused by Lindsay Kemp but was basically straight all along. Not forgetting in the glam 1970s it was easier to say you were bi than it is now.

I'm really glad that jake went to the Rufus Wainwright concert. Jake and Rufus' respect and affection for each other, as artists and people, is genuine, and it pre-dates Jake's recent descent into bearding. It's a part of his *real* life, sans 'The Chin'.

Well NEtb we didnt get our wish of getting through NYs eve and Valentines Day without a scratch. I really dont know what to say anymore. Sure looks like we are in for more of jeese. God knows how long it will last. Quess all we can do is sit back and watch the show.
I still believe that Jake is gay. That will never change. What I am confused about is what jeese is accomphlishing now. I quess we see Reese with a younger guy as Ryan prepares to remarry and and we see Jake putting the straight image in the majorities eye. But they have no shine or spark and I really don't think the general public is interested at all. Can't seeing it selling too many movie tickets. You make good movies and you give good performances and folks will pay to see you perform.

I'm not going to give up the ship yet. I don't know - I just don't feel this Jeese thing, I don't know why. I really wish I could, but I don't. It's so now I don't even look at all the pics anymore, now that the initial shock is over. By shock I mean that with all of the staunch denials, I was very surprised to see that they were supposedly together for months. You would have thought they would make an exciting couple, but to me there's no spark.

Getting back to the Reeke pics (poor Austin! He needs to get his face back in the limelight so no one forgets what he looks like!) someone, or a few, keep noticing that Jake keeps wearing the same clothes day after day when he's with Reese. Now no doubt that The Sex smells hawt and luscious and lickable most of the time, but he is human, after all. I don't recall him wearing the same shirts two or three days in a row when he was with KD or Austin or even his friend Chris. But with Reeke, all the time it seems like, even when they went out to dinner remember? Either he's depressed and not making an effort to be fresh and clean for his lovely......or maybe he is trying to make an effort to repel her with his 2 day whiffy.
I also noticed how his clothes are so lumberjack. First the Interview pictures of the Outdoorsman, then Reeke, the Moon project, Joe Namath. Could be they trying to butch him up with all the plaid flannel.

Sources tell us it was a lover's spat, as a few choice words were heard as the happy troupe strolled past. Could there be trouble in Paradise already? Come on people, Jake is pissed because the paps are intruding! Plain and simple. If a camera was in your face constantly what would you do? recently Woody Harrelson, Seal, and guy from EVloves Raymond TV show smacked the cameras out of paps hand. The brunette is the same PR/publicist/friend as in the October 10th pictures on IHJ. Seems like the paps were really intruding in these pictures. Of course Jake is upset. Still, even though he's pissed he looks happier/more natural than in the latest Reeke pictures. Amazing.
I really hope Jeese ends soon. It's getting very embarassing for both parties and I can only imagine what their friends think about it.

Paps don't usually go all the way into a restaurant, or wine bar, as this seems to be. They usually just snap from outside but they seem right up close. I cant tell if he is mad or not. He is more animated than usual, but that may be good. He's been acting like a robot for months. He used to joke with paps so who knows. I have not liked this latest haircut for a long while. Since MV.

I agree about the haircut, m, it's too differentiated in lengths - I like the very short (Jarhead growing out) and the longer, spiky looks, but not this one, and not when it has the beard attached (no pun intended). The plaid shirt was a final blow, but I always like indie Jake best and I think he has a few more years for that look before middle age claims him :)
