We didn't have much voting in this poll, but we did get a clear winner. Our first OMG Movie Club movie will be Ang Lee's The Wedding Banquet! We will plan to discuss this movie on 4/26, right after Austin's birthday. That should give everyone a chance to recover from their post Austin's birthday hangovers! Hopefully 3 weeks' notice will give people plenty of time to get the film and watch it. Since it's an Ang Lee film, we hope that people will bring other Ang Lee films to the discussion as well. Wanted to address some things that were said on WFT last night and take the time to clear the air.
We really DO NOT think that Rattler is Jeff Troll. Why? Sitemeter. We know Jeff's IP address and it is not Rattler's. Rattler has been posting much longer than Jeff. And Jeff only appeared here because of Reese.
Rattler is cool guy. We are friends and have a great time talking to each other.

IMO the April Fool hoaxes set up by Google, You tube etc. were pretty lame this year. And when I learned that Special K and Wicked are going to look at cherry blossoms, a very old hoax came to my mind.
And I found the clip!

Some background:
On April 1, 1957 the BBC news show Panorama broadcast a three-minute segment about a bumper spaghetti harvest in southern Switzerland. The Swiss Spaghetti Harvest hoax generated an enormous response. Hundreds of people phoned the BBC wanting to know how they could grow their own spaghetti tree. To this query the BBC diplomatically replied, “Place a sprig of spaghetti in a tin of tomato sauce and hope for the best.”
Jake's home is NOT off the radar, he lives on Woodrow Wilson Dr. in the Hollywood Hills, this has been posted on several real estate blogs. You can delete but this info is posted on several blogs already, it's no secret.
And although there is no actual adress it's enough info if any wanted to stalk like the paps. True there are no more pics of him running or cycling in the area but IMO it's because he has chosen not to do those things near his home whch is not a gated community.
There have been a few sigtings of him running and cycling in the Runyan canyon area and Mull. Dr. near his parents.
That doesn't make sense Just Wondering.
Re, You don't get that Jake did not put that info out there. And while you want to post the street again that doesn't mean Jake would want the specifics of an address he is staying at listed online.
Just responding to comments in the previous post about Reese's address posted vs Jake. Everyone knows that Reese lives in Brentwood and the Dr./St. but not the actual address, like Jake, but I bet if you do a search in people find you could find out.
The ranch is supposedly a weekend getaway that has been for sale for a while and therefore the address is listed, nothing anyone can do about that except get extra security.
IMO Jake no longer gets papped where he lives is because he probably doesn't spend that much time there anymore and that he found other venues (see above) to run, etc.
I do know one thing they could have done about the address in Ojai - not publish the fact that Reese actually bought the house and tout it as a 'lovenest' in US Weekly and all over the internet.
Sure, someone would have found out eventually, but if privacy is so gosh darn important to Reese, mentioning the purchase and location in a major tabloid is not the way to go about keeping things under the radar.
Why keep it private?
Public needs to know how rich, successful and happy in love Reese is! LOL!

WFT2- WFT2 is linked at right, and has been pretty much since that blog started.
It has been rainy and overcast here. Not such great weather for the blossoms. Yesterday we watched Highway, which was the only Jake movie that Spesh and I had yet to see. So now we can both say that we have seen all of Jake's movies. Today we are going to the Botanic Gardens, which I have never been to and have really wanted to go. They are having an orchid and flowered quilt exhibit right now. Too bad there's no spaghetti exhibit! This morning we walked the dogs in the Aquatic Gardens, so Spesh did get to see some of the cherries. Plus, we saw a Blue Heron and a White Phase Blue Heron. Spesh got some pix of those. I hope they come out! The dogs went to the groomer yesterday so they do not smell like dogs! Atticus, you really should see Tink now!
So what do you think - was Pilot Jake's first gay role?

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that about Jakes role as Pilot.
Special, I have a few comments on Dany's final hurrah on WFT. Granted, I'm kind of annoyed with Jake these days but I am interested in his career (and Austin's). I do plan on seeing "The Informers," "Brothers" and whatever else both will be doing. I'm interested in their growing body of work. But Dany wasn't even interested in them as actors--just whether they were going to come out or not.
I also found her extremely bitter and dismissive toward the rest of the Jake fandom (and Austin fandom). And condescending. And she was very unfair and irrational toward Special.
And where did she think that Rattler was the Reese troll, Jeff??? Wha???
Anyway, good riddance to that and hello to WFT Part 2.

Yes - people esp in a blog theoretically discussing Jake possibly being gay or bisexual and possibly playing the HW game for professional reasons is being disrespectful to Jake and only someone who is a hater would attack him like that.
Yes - releasing detailed address information regarding Jake's 10 week temporary private residence during a film shoot and possibly compromising his physical safety is acceptable, didnt you know?

I really liked the music selection for today. I went to Foals myspace page and listened to some of their stuff. Good band. I noticed that you have such diverse music selections on your list. Are they part of your personal collection or do you search different bands?

No, not the PA from Joans, this woman looks younger/thinner, probably a friend the way she just ran up to the car to chat a bit. They were shopping and he made the comments as they were getting in the car. She looked surprised that they appeared to still be filming as she approached the car by the look on her face.

It is obviously an invasion of his privacy and it must hurt him, if you consider the amount of time he is spending currently trying to put up a facade. We can decide we don't care and keep talking about it, but it is obviously something he does not want people to do.
