Dancing in the Streets...
... literally
Nothing figuratively about it, Jake was snapped filming in the financial district in Lower Manhattan dancing in the streets.
Looking a little Footloose in some of those pics. But Jake's been footloose and fancy free before.

A Moveable Feast
Jake might have started his holidays in New York talking but he's wrapping up Hanukkah in LA.
Jake flew out back to LA as he gets ready to visit Ellen on Thursday to tape his first interview with her since 2007.
What can be expected? Well with Jake and Ellen anything:
Maybe some cooking?
or dancing ?
a little tease?
or a lot of wine?
or maybe a shower of flowers
But Jake no doubt will talk about Prisoners, which is coming out on DVD December 17th, and maybe his other projects. It will be Day 3 of Ellen's 12 Days of Giveaways so the audience is getting presents, but maybe Ellen will give Jake his own gift for his upcoming birthday. A HanukkahBirthmas gift! Or just call it a Festivus gift and be done with it. Jake - a donation to the Human Fund might be in your future.
Jake will be on Ellen on Monday, Dec 9th. Check your local listings.
and one more menorah for the close of Hanukkah.

Moves like...
....well not exactly Jagger.
While some might want them to do a Dance Off Pants Off, this is a family show.
Dance it out guys!
Jake uses Just Dance vol 3 as his dance guide
Austin goes old school with the Arthur Murray footsteps.
Jake starts moves into overdrive
Austin can't contain the funk.
Oh snap.
Director's style
Austin goes for the big guns.
and pulls the Flashdance
Jake is a little more subtle
and goes for a just tease
But both try to finish on a high note.

On the Move
Looks like Austin's strapped on the boots and showing who's boss of
episode 9.07,
but not without some perks.
Scouting in Kinston, NC. If you roll through, Kings has the best country fried steak and hushpuppies. Thanks V. - Aus10
Kinston is about 85 miles due north of Wilmington, so it was total ROAD TRIP.
And with a road trip you gotta get some eats. - Who says country fried steak and hush puppies aren't a bad perk of scouting.
For Austin having a episode full of flashback for his directorial debut looked like he got a bit of raw deal,
but now he gets the reward.
Not only doing some shooting on location, he gets a guest star as well, and not any guest start, but the return of Chad Michael Murrary aka Lucas Scott to the Crazy Tree.
And with Lucas coming back it will be one episode that many will be tuning in to see. Big episode means a really big opportunity for Austin to show off his directing skills.
And who knows, it could lead to other directing jobs in TV after OTH wraps.
Or maybe Dancing with the Stars... say whaaaaaaaaaa?
This morning Rob Fleming an exec at The CW, tweeted asking who from the The CW would they like to see on DWTS, and many said Austin.
With his long lean frame and that carriage he has, he would look great on the dance floor.
The outfits? You could see him having a blast with.. but the rhythm, well... what do you think?
Of course, Jake could give him some tips with moves like this.

But maybe not this for prime time.
And while talking about moving - It's Two Wheel Tuesday!
