Demo'd

It's been a while since Jake filmed Demolition but it's that time again, another release, and Jake's been doing press for the movie for the past few weeks.

Demolition premiere last fall at the Toronto International Film Festival and got great reviews.  The movie seems to bring Jake back to what he does well,  not the flawed character that he tends to lean toward, but another movie that is just outside the line of mainstream.

Great to see back to what he seems to love to do, and he seems to look like he is back to that great Jake in interviews.

And even better back to see this guy with this fella in not only the same state, the same city but in the same dang space.

Talk about breaking it down and going back to the beginning.

And as for that Texas size temptation -  he's done some "Walking" in Denver this weekend.

Keeping up Appearances

While Jake is doing double duty while promoting Nightcrawler.

Working so much, he's having trouble with his trousers.

No doubt Jake loves the musical Carousel

We love seeing him film on a carousel  if bring such sweet smiles as he has here.

Jake was on Coney Island and back to filming Demolition.

Dancing in the Streets...

... literally

Nothing figuratively about it,  Jake was snapped filming in the financial district in Lower Manhattan dancing in the streets.

Looking a little Footloose in some of those pics.  But Jake's  been footloose and fancy free before.

Busy G

After Saturday's respite for Yom Kippor ,  Jake was a busy bee since.

Sunday night  found him at a special screening of  Nightcrawler during the 2014 New York Film Festival. Many in the news business came to watch the movie about the dark side of the after hours freelance news business in LA.

And with a grin no less.

Nightcrawler continues garner great reviews for Jake's performance.

Then today Jake was back to filming Demolition this time at Coney Island.

These coveralls look a little different than on Austin.

This is why I'm usually on his shoulders.

And rounding out the night, Jake attended the Academy of Motion Picture's party for new members.

Now Arriving

What's shooting at an airport without an arrival or departure scene.

Catch Jake filming just that.

Source
Don't know Oogum Boogum doesn't have the same cache at Gooberballs.

And if Jake didn't have enough to do at the moment with filming and rehearsing for the play, he is also promoting Nightcrawler.

Jake will be filming the Queen Latifah Show  in LA next Monday, October 13 along with his Nightcrawler co-star and football great Terry Bradshaw.

So it looks like Jake will be having an airport arrival moment in real life.... the hugs will happen away from the cameras.

Demo'd Over

Jake spent the day at JFK filming Demolition and pretty much has demo'd everyone with how good he is  looking in this film.

No tricky hair do's

No dramatic changes bulked up or slimmed down

And no more hiding those devastating dimples under a bushy beard.

Jake looks like he's turned the way back machine on and lost 5-6 years.

Chatting with Demo's director.

And while the dashing Jake might be back some things will never change.

L'Shanah Tova!!

Happy 5775!

Rail Road Demolition

Jake was back to business today and filming Demolition.

This time out of the city and on Long Island, and like a proper commuter. On the Long Island Rail Road. And some caught him catching the train.

Jake looks every inch the businessman coming into the city.

So official that the Long Island Rail Road official twitter tweeted about it and shared a pic.

And some were lucky enough to get a snap (with him and Naomi)

First it was planes, today it was trains, so guess it will be automobiles next.
