Black 'n Tooth?

Austin gives the motivation for this Austin Friday with his post yesterday over at Southern Gothic.

He talks about music and music that inspires. Music And he's writing a song with his post. (It's been ages since music theory, so I am apologizing in advance to all you musicians and songwriters if I miss the mark on the structure)

First verse:

We got married in a fever
Hotter than a pepper sprout
We've been talkin' about Jackson
Ever since the fire went out

I'm goin' to Jackson
I'm gonna mess around
Look out Jackson Town

-Rodgers, Wheeler

I feel some connection to the man in black. Johnny Cash.
J.C. Jesus Christo. I usually wear black myself.
Every car I ever owned was black. I like fast cars and
faster women.

Guitars slung around the back.

And women named after months.

Mr. Cash has become incredibly inspirational to
me for Lincoln Booth.

This is all stinkin' Lincoln, and Austin is Lincoln Booth. Lotsa' Lincoln.

Music helps round out the character he's inhabiting. Austin's used music before when approaching a role. The impression you get after watching him tackle various roles in the last few years is that he slips into a new body an inhabits the person becoming them from the inside out.

Now as James Brown says - take it to the bridge

I don't know why.

It doesn't really make sense. And it doesn't have to.
People often ask me why I feel a certain way.

Why? Why? Why? And nowadays, my answer is...

"IT DOESN'T MATTER. I JUST DO!!"

"How do you know?" That's my other favorite
question these days. My answer...

"I JUST KNOW!!!!"

This is all Austin - pure simple passionate

Second Verse

But something about that song JACKSON,
when John and June sang it, there is something in
there that knocks me out. It's like a bolt of lightning
struck my skull and penetrated straight to my heart.

Did a song ever do that to you?

What is it?

Name it.

It makes me want to cry and scream and laugh
and love a woman real real hard. All at once.

It makes me want to scream from the rooftops.
I hope everybody's been doin' some of that lately.

This is about the artist. How music affects him, what it does, what music brings out in him. And wondering if anyone else feels that about music.

Then the coda:

Get to it.

But more and more, people ask me questions and
I have learned to not answer them. Cause I can't
really speak the answer. But I feel it. And I do know it.

When something inspires you, it just does.
You don't have to describe it. In fact, I say, DON'T!!!!!

And it 's built to this. And it says everything he will not say. What is it that more and more people ask, what is that he can't describe?

It's the two sentences "But I feel it. And I do know it."

No more questions.

Thank you Mr.President

Join us today for the OMG Movie Club at 5:00pm EST through tomorrow as we discuss cult classic movie Harold & Maude from director Hal Ashby. As in we've done before we will leave this post open for all other posts, not related to the movie. Hope to see you stop by and join us.

And yes we are coming late the party on this one but we want to say we added Southern Gothic to our list of Places We Go.

So to celebrate, here's a little Southern Gothic - from my camera to you.

From Foxnews.com - talking about Brandon Routh getting cut from the The Informers. Interesting paragraph.

Sources say that when "The Informers" finally hits theaters on May 1st, we can also expect to see just about no one from its cast or creative side doing publicity. The reason is that Ellis and screenwriter Nick Jarecki are pretty unhappy about the way the movie turned out. The main actors are said to be in agreement. "The Informers" that they all started to make, they’ve told friends, is quite different from the finished product.

Informers - Fox News

Wonder what Austin thinks.

Explanation about nail polish for Wicked (from yesterday's comments)

I don't have any problem with nail polish on adults / young women, but on small children it just doesn't seem appropriate. Okay its not the same as those awful child beauty pagents you see, but it's the thin edge of the wedge.

I said cultural differences because I know that my amercian sister in-law took my niece to a nail place when she was really small, you could hear the screechs of horror from my mum and other assorted relatives for miles around. And again, apologises for sounding extremely stuck up, but any type of makeup (and ear piercing) on small children to me is just a big no no.

What a beautiful photo, Spesh. I have always loved the Savannah bird girl statue too. I haven't been able to find Harold and Maude (still haven't gotten Netflix, my bad) so I may not be able to take part in the movie discussion. But everyone enjoy! I like Jake in his element too, a great cause to take part in and to promote. Have a great Austin Friday, all! :)

It was always a big no-no in my house too, Meg, and I'm American. I had to sneak makeup, shorter skirt, etc. once I got to school. Hee! Mom, I hope you're not reading this. Maybe for Ramona, it was just a little daub on her baby nails, like Mommy's, or something, but not the full-fledged polish. I hate, hate those child beauty pageants too. :)

^^or until I reached a certain age, I should say. My idea of a the right age, and my Mom's, were always two different things. ;)

Thanks so much for playing this song. It was on my mind all last night after reading the blog. Good analysis too of the content of Austin's words. I do believe he fell into a ring of fire himself the day he walked in to that audition for TDAT.

NETB is right - the picture was taken in Savannah in the Bonaventure cemetery, (The Garden) where the Bird Girl used to be.

Hey NE-- go to the library and the the movie- I bet you can find it

OPI - like you I was not allowed to a certain again to wear nail polish, and even then there were conditions. It could only be clear or light pinks, and no frosted(oh my!) I was raised very conservatively and a minister's daughter - so nail polish could be come a hot topic in the house. Lond story short-14 Easter Sunday - not only did I wear a black dress with a red belt - which my mother was already to shoot me about, I went out and got hot cherry red nail polish to do my nails. My father was mortified, and I remember these older southern ladies at church tell my mother I was a jezebel.

What's funny is I like to wear dark polish now, and my dad will say sometimes, why don't you paint your nails, they look better when you do. Funny how time changes things.

I'll try the libraries for H&M.

Hey NETB!! That's what I was doing last night was watching Harold & Maude. I'm ready to insert my thought(s) but I'll hold off. Waiting is so hard, tho.

Thanks, Tom! A big send-off to you! Have a great time in the Sunshine State. You couldn't have picked a better time. We're supposed to get hammered with snow. In fact, the whole state of Kansas right now is getting it. My brother & his family right now are getting accum. of sleet & freezing rain, changing to snow. They're supposed to get up to 15 in., maybe. Weather.com is calling for 5-8 in. for us. What a DRAG. And it's raining today and it's cold & windy. What is the deal - this does not make me happy at all. But at least I'm not flying out today. This weather has a week to straighten up.

prairiegirl said...

I wanted to get on here this morning, but I just flat ran out of time. I'm all behind on Austin watching; in fact I think I'm behind now 2 episodes of OTH. I just totally forgot about it on Monday as I got wrapped up in DWTS.

Anyway, I did get to IHJ and catch up on pictures. Really liked all of them. I wanted to say that there is no need for embarrassment or shame if a psychologist/therapist is being consulted or has been in the past. In fact, it is the brave & smart person who seeks out help, not the weak. Just like our bodies get kinks & missing bolts, our minds & emotions can, too. They can be traumatized or bothered by outside sources or chemical inbalances that are not an individual's fault. And alot of times, it takes an objective person to tell you what you yourself can no longer see. Or a knowledgeable, trained person who can see a trend from past experience or make a medical diagnosis.

I saw a psychologist back in 2005 when I was suddenly having these panic attacks and that year was when I found out I suffered (lol, well not the right word, but you know) from anxiety, particularly social anxiety. That was after all kinds of medical tests & whatnot. And I'm not embarrassed at all to say I've seen one.

I loved the pictures with sister
Maggie, Peter, & niece. They were awesome to see. Sometimes, not all the time, but sometimes it's almost like he's got two identities going on. So, I would not be surprised at all if he was seeking outside help. A person would go nuts trying to maintain two totally different personas & lives. I don't know how he does it, honestly. Eventually, one would lose track of who you really are.

prairiegirl said...

Sorry, third one in a row. But I have to take advantage of the opportunity.

And though I, myself, am suspicious as well of the sudden & multiple release of these solo Jake pictures, I can't really confidently say why I think they are happening. So I've got to hold off on criticism or applause & gratitude. I reckon time will tell. It'll play out. And it doesn't bother me for others to voice their skepticism, because I understand it totally. After everything that's happened, it's a human self-defense mechanism. Really. And that's why I know I'm not totally falling for it yet. I'm not getting too excited yet because I don't want to be played a fool. So I'll just wait. And I'm not saying I don't like them. Quite the opposite. I love them all. I just don't want it to come back & bite me in the you know what.

Lane, (Lane, I wish I understood your name. It's intriguing. I know it's a real name, tho, because I know a Lane in real life. Or it could mean "the fast lane". Or "lane of opportunity". hmmm.), anyway I got off course there. lol.
I read your comment on Jake's mood and I reckon maybe you were making it on the pictures outside the medical building? Alot of the European Tour pics? Where were you 3 months ago?!!!! lol!! I could've used you by my side, man.

Anyway, I'm teasing. I will say this. I found his posture in his
chair when he was sitting to lunch with that Mel White guy very interesting. Do you usually see men sitting like that? It was very, I don't know what the word is that I want. It's not just that it was very slouched posture, either. It was a very injured & meek looking posture. I would say it was the posture of a 7 year old; and I don't say that in a bad way at all. Almost like whatever he was talking about was something either sad or unpleasant in some way. I know someone'll come down on me for "overanalyzing" body language, but you have to admit, I haven't done it for awhile now.
That particular set of pictures, though, really struck out at me.

Okay, I've rattled on long enough & I have got to get back to my mini mountain of yukk-o paperwork. Everyone have a good afternoon & ohhhh!! Kacieeeeeeee! Kacie, hey there! Hug to you, Kace.

There are a couple of songs that hit me hard take my breath and knock the legs out from under me.

One is B.B. King's The Thrill is Gone, from the first note it hits me deep. It's the blues and it wraps up love heartbreak and moving on. And it the sound of Lucille singing right along with it.

The other is a cover of Bob Dylan's Emotionally Yours, done by the O'Jays. It's a declaration, a praise, a promise, a vow. Sung like a gospel anthem.

There's so many, but a few that come to mind: Crazy and Sweet Dreams by Patsy Cline; River by Joni Mitchell, Gymnopedie No. 1 by Erik Satie, Simple Twist of Fate and Tangled Up in Blue by Bob Dylan, Let's Stay Together by Al Green, Diamonds and Rust by Joan Baez, very early Beatles like If I Needed Someone and Yes It Is, and I'm A Man by the Spencer Davis Group hits me like a train a-comin'! And probably so many more. :)

Er...it looks like Reese was only picking him up after his jog (she's not even in jogging gear going by her hair band)...who was he actually jogging/interacting with in all the other pictures? Funny how his demeanor changes completely when he gets in the car. Definitely set-up shots but very weird ones.

And speaking of jogging, was Reese always an active jogger? It seems like she would have been as an exercise of choice for Hollywood types, but she never looks comfortable or natural doing it, unlike Jake whom we've seen jogging and running for years. Along with wearing the Red Sox caps it comes off as something she just picked up for image only.

benz said...

Just noticed that In one shot the car trunk is open with Reese at the wheel and Jake actively getting in the car. It appears closed in the next couple of shots. So why was it open and who closed it? A pap? lol, just strange. And could they look more in love or what? ;)

x17 said...

Well she was wearing jogging shorts, jacket and sneakers. He didn't look like he was jogging, if he was it was a short jog doesn't look sweaty. I bet they just went some place for coffee, spotted the paps and decided to go into their act. X17 sees them in jogging gear and assumes they were, there are plenty of pics of them going for coffee and they were wearing jogging/warmup suits.

Rose colored glasses said...

Could anyone explain why Chinormica insists on wearing short shorts all the time? Her thighs are flabby and shorts like those are for women who have thin, toned legs. Could her ego be that huge that she thinks her legs and figure are so slamming that she could wear shorts like that or be seen in a bikini like last year?

Special K said...

I do wonder why the song Jackson for Austin, and wonder if it is in some way a little twisted dark humor on his part. I could see him do it.

Why? Because that was one of the songs that they recreated in Walk the Line.

"Just noticed that In one shot the car trunk is open with Reese at the wheel and Jake actively getting in the car. It appears closed in the next couple of shots. So why was it open and who closed it? A pap? lol, just strange."

Wow benz, good eye. Open car trunk, closed car trunk, yeah makes ya wonder......

(btw Prairie Girl, Lane is my real name but I like your "fast lane" theory!)

x17 said...

she did look slamming in that dress she wore at the LA premiere, I didn't notice flabby thighs unless she was wearing stockings. their jogging shorts and sneaks sort of match, they have done that before, friggin tools.

destiny said...

I didn't even think of the movie, boy am I slow. Just as well, I am glad I can think of Cash and not think of Walk the Line.

Like M I'm not sure what to make of some of Austin's latest post. How much of it is Austin the person, Austin the actor and Austin as Lincoln. The bit about wanting to love a woman hard seems to be coming from Austin, not Lincoln, same with screaming from rooftops. You've certainly turned it into a subversive line by posting the leg photo, but I doubt that was Austin intended.

in the jump seat said...

benz, you are a treasure. There HAD TO BE a third person with them. The trunk wasn't accidentally opened when they were in the car, it was already open when Reese was unlocking her door. So why would she walk right by it and not close it herself, unless someone was already there doing something and would shut it after they were finished? Jake, who was busy messing around and laughing back on the sidewalk with the paps while Reese was getting in the car, wasn't holding anything to put in the trunk. Even tho we know Reeke is bearding/business/friends, it's so funny that when they are out with others PR/rags want to make it look like it's just the two of them doing something coupley, when it's obvious it's more like a group outing. (Chris in the NYC Avon pics last year anyone?!!!!)

it's all about Reese said...

Btw the tab title that comes with the x17 pics is "Reese Witherspoon Photos & Pics - Reese and Jake Get Physical!" and the x17 permalink is "celebrities/reese_witherspoon/reese_and_jake_get_physical" If anyone still thinks the bearding is for Jake's benefit, think again.

benz said...

Yeah, there's definitely some third person interaction/group outing going on there. I just have to laugh at Jake's goofy grin vanishing the second he gets in the car. It's like, "aaand SCENE", lol. If he was laughing and joking with Reese on the sidewalk, she'd be kept in those shots, right? So he was just interacting with the paps?

The trunk being open is some sloppy continuity on the part of Team Reeke! And there's been a few instances now where they don't even bother to hide the fact that there's a group with them seemingly orchestrating these photo-ops.

prairiegirl said...

I can't believe that's Johnny Cash flipping the finger. I had to look twice at that. That's always such an ugly gesture.

I haven't heard Austin's latest. I'm so behind. Guess with our 5-8 in. of snow coming tomorrow, I'll have plenty of "inside" time to catch up on stuff. But just going by some of the quotes mentioned on here, Austin's walk is not matching his talk. He seems to like talking about girls & women alot, insinuating things. But there certainly doesn't seem to be alot of word out there of him squiring a history of ladies on his arm. Just kind of interesting. Does that sound too mean? I don't mean for it to sound mean, I just don't get it is all.

Hey Lane, thanks for the word. People's names on blogs can always be intriguing. Now I know 2 Lanes. I enjoy your comments. Welcome to the mix. I believe I am tardy with that welcome; didn't mean to be. The Welcome Wagon extends its hand to you in a real firm handshake!

Hey m, do you know Steffi on LJ? Cornflake? You know she went to Perth, right? Or did you know that? She's back now, but she took some absolutely gorgeous pictures while over there, including this beautiful memorial site for Heath. Oh, it is such a beautiful spot, overlooking the ocean. Anyway, I sent over to her a little rock from alongside the lake at my park that is now over in Australia, along with some other mementos from other readers. And today, in the mail, she sent me some sand & a couple very small shells from there, along with a postcard from Perth. I thought Perth was just a little town or something, but it looks to be a big city. It has a beautiful city skyline. But it was just so cool to get an envelope postmarked from Australia. She is just the best, an absolute sweetheart, and I just love her little dog, Silky.
Anyway, I wanted to share that.

And my last word. Eastcoasters will laugh at this. I guess all the area grocery stores were just jampacked today with panicky shoppers seeking the last of every loaf of bread & jug of milk in anticipation of this big WINTER STORM we're going to get. 5-8 inches. And now I heard that my favorite news channel, Ch. 9, is going to have Johnny Rollins, the traffic coptor guy, on the Sat. morning news tomorrow to tell us about the traffic, what with the snow & all. That's a pretty big deal when Johnny Rollins is going to come in on a Saturday to give the traffic. He's the Jim Cantore of traffic watchers here, I guess you'd say. LOLLL!

Alright , well, on that note I'm going to call it a night. Sweet dreams to whoever is still up.

Everyone is okay and they ended up stopping for the night in REESEVILLE, SC.

Tom, if you're reading this, have a great time in FL, glad you missed the tornado. Hope the place you stopped isn't a bad omen! ;)

Special, you are funny - I got a Love Boat/Captain & Tenille kinda feel from hearing about John too. I loved the O'Jay's song - another one that gets me the way Austin describes is My Prayer by The Platters - right through the heart! I think he may be talking about his character Lincoln, but I did notice that was one of the songs sung in WTL. Should be interesting how everything turns out - I'm here until the last gun. :)

Honey, I'm hoooooommmme!! lol!

Still waiting, yes indeedy, Special! Still waiting for the BIG SNOW!! I woke up around 6 this morning expecting to see all white outside. I didn't peek out the blinds, tho, right away. I was scared, lol. But finally did. And dry...as...a...bone. For crying out loud. And it was 34 degrees still. So I went to the craft/gift show sale at this lady's house that I so did not want to miss & was fretting about all night last night. It started to rain & hasn't stopped. But heck, I had time to drive over to Staples & everything before I noticed it was starting to freeze off the Stop signs & traffic lights so I got myself home. And sure enough, it's 32 now. 5-8 has now been toned down to anywhere from a dusting to 4. I LOVE IT!! Everytime those weather people go whole hog & panicking everybody, sending everyone & their mother to the grocery stores, this is what happens. I was counting on it.

Clarity, you're really getting the rain, too, aren't you? My weather temp monitor is showing little raindrops for you. Well, it was - now it's fog. And poor Tom!! Holy cow - in the middle of tornados. Man, that's no fun. Criminetley's. Has anyone ever seen one? I have, a big fat one. And rotating clouds. Now that's creepy. They look like old manual washing machine rollers. Sorry I'm going on & on about weather. Good grief. We obssess about it here - heck, there's never anything else going on in Kansas.

Music!!Captain & Tennille. Muskrat Love. I liked her - she seemed so genuine. And Baker's Street. Wow, that's a good one, flf. I love so many songs, but to pick some that just hit you every time is hard. I can't say that about every one I like. I always have a current favorite that I'll play over & over & over til I'm sick of it. And it'll usually take weeks, lol. I'll have to think on it. I've ran a mile long comment already and I need to throw in my sheets & towels.

I'm supposed to call Wicked this weekend & I'm soooooo nervous.

That is scary about Tom, glad to hear he is okay. Lots of crazy weather all over right now. For once we're having decent weather in NY, although I wish it was sunnier.

The latest Reeke photos are down right strange. I guess that is bound to happen when things are staged.

I had to run into the drugstore to buy camera batteries --got the photos this morning Wicked, now I just have to figure out how to download them, still haven't managed that trick. Anyway, I had to look at Reeke Weekly while I was there. For those of you that haven't tortured yourself, but are curious, keep reading.

For starters, it was a huge story, 4 pages worth, and a lot of copy. And it was a whole summary of their "relationship", from how they went to staying in and watching dvds and picking up takeout food (with references to those early sightings for which we had photos), to weekends at Ojai as trial runs for living together, to now knowing Jake is serious about her and being more public with their relationship. The very beginning of the story also said they've been living together since last summer, but that Jake still has his house, which is where he had the party.

There was also the usual divorce/Ryan stuff.

Also, interesting, although all the in love stuff as usual comes from friends, US had direct quotes from Reese for the story, specifically about how wonderful it was that he was waiting for her in Madrid.

This had pr all over it, and was a summary of their allegedly two years together. This was not a cut and paste job by US.

And more than ever, I'm convinced that there has been a whole plan in place from the beginning as to how it would go down, with no photos for six months, then Rome, then the regular every other week shots, the almost daily Reeking after he got back from London, and the reintroduction of friends and family (I think done deliberately to tear down his old image, as people have said on wft2) now that it is safe (probably hoping people will explain it away as Jake being entirely devoted to wooing over Reese and how serious he was about her, so serious that he didn't spend time with anyone else).

I also don't see this ending for years to come. Can't see Reese having him living with her and the kids and then turning around and ending it. I'm sure there are lots of other steps mapped out as well, probably an engagement and/or wedding in time for PoP.

huh? said...

Can't see Reese having him "living with her and the kids" and then turning around and ending it.

Fake marriage and divorce would make her look better? I don't think so.

This article makes it sound like it is running the typical course of a relationship - so enamoured of each other nobody else exists in the beginning of it, now settling into coupledom, but from here, who knows. It'll be interesting to see what happens. Could be the beginning of the end too, as in some relationships. I certainly could see something convenient coming up to end it, with Reese coming out the winner of course. It's very interesting that Jake still hasn't said anything at all about it, not one word. I'll believe it when he does, and even then, I don't find them to be an interesting couple.

I'll believe it when he does

Why?

Low Grade Fever said...

Because for me, it'll be time to drop it. I don't care anymore whether it's true, it's not worth following.

What a coincidence that the big story comes out the same time that Reese's movie opens. That's what marks it as being so obviously a set up. The script was written months ago and the actors simply played their roles. Then they go home to their real lives, and in Jake's case, loves.

Norma Rae, I'm about with you. I was until I read the latest comments by you all.

I want Colombo. I want Matlock. I want Simon & Simon, Jessica Fletcher, Magnum P.I., Starsky & Hutch, Cannon, Nancy Drew, and the Hardy Boys all over this. Will someone, for crying out loud, just spill the beans & reveal the truth. That's it. The Simple Truth.

Dest, we may need to get to the chatroom on this deal. I'm trying to get where you're coming from.

I just deleted a whole glacier of spitfire, lol. Man, I was dishing it out & thank goodness I always hit Preview about a 100 times because I thought better of it and erased it.

prairiegirl said...

Destiny, if you're around or Special, if you are, I'm going to head over there & leave it up for awhile while I tend to my laundry & whatnot.

If not, don't worry about it. But Dest, you got me all wound up. I'm going to try doing it with my usual browser first because that way I could use my name. When I use Firefox, you know it gives me a number instead of a name.

prairiegirl said...

Okay, this might be bad. I can't find my internet book that has all my notes & passwords in it right now. lol. brother. So I'm going to have to switch to firefox.

Clarity said...

I'd like to go into the chatroom too but I don't have any idea how to get there. Can someone point me in the right direction?

prairiegirl said...

Clarity!! I'm in there!Hold on, I'll help

prairiegirl said...

Clarity, go up there where it says Wicked Chatty and type in your name where it says "Screen name", then click on "Log In" and it takes you to another screen. Let it do its thing and then you should be in the room. Mine says "pg" and then you'll see to the right the box where you type your comments. It's just like Instant Messaging

prairiegirl said...

Don't worry, I won't leave. I'm just hanging out, putting my laundry in the dryer.

prairiegirl said...

m, if you're around, pleeeeeease come, too

prairiegirl said...

And this isn't any exclusive club either. Norma Rae? Why don't you come in?

This is an emergency meeting! We go into the chatroom because I want to be able to talk without spying eyes. It just gets kind of tricky, tho, if you don't have a regular blogger name, cause then I don't know 100% if you're a blogger or hopefully not from across "enemy lines" or something.

let's see, how many comments in a row can I make & 1)make the Guiness Book, 2) bore everyone to death, and 3) make someone hurl their laptop through a window?

BWR is at it again. I hope no one was surprised to see the "Reeking" go into overdrive when the movie opened. There is so much Nanci in this US story that reading it has made me need to go take a shower but I wanted to make one quick point.

The thing that rings so false about these US stories is that if you read them you would think that the kids are constantly with Reese. She has a way of hitting that point really hard in interviews too. The kids play with the MvsA toys "every morning when they wake up". They talk about whatever "every night at dinner". "Every" is added to every sentence no pun intended.

Reese was PISSED when Ryan got 50% legal and physical custody and those kids are with him half the time. But from the way she talks and PR's stories it is as if he does not exist.

Prairie Girl,

it this the post about Heath's memorial site? If not, could you please post the link?

tr, I couldn't read past the first few paragraphs, it just about made me gag. I say gag because what we're fed in these stories does not jive how she comes across nor does it jive by how her & Jake come across in all these pictures & videos. And I think after 2 years of it, it should show. I still see all kinds of holes in this show but I can't say what I think on here.

I know you can't come in the chat room, nor do you probably want to anyway, but I'm glad you came on here to lend a little insight. I'm still waiting for one of my little friends to come join me.
tr, are you getting any rain/snow/sleet/ice/freezing rain? lol. Seems just about everyone else is, even Spooky, who lives in Belgium. I'm stuck inside with laundry. At least I can put out Easter decorations.

Aha!! It's changing over right now. It looks like we are finally, finally getting snow.

You're right I don't sign in so I can't chat. I bet Special knows what region of the world I am in now based on my ISP :-) The sun is out but I can't enjoy it. I have too much to do. Summer cannot get here soon enough.

Enjoy your chat. May I ask why you can't post what you think?

chatty said...

tr you can still chat. Just sign in as tr, that's all.

prairiegirl said...

Sorry, tr, I've been in CHAT and didn't see your question. I believe we have unfriendly or investigative lurkers and I just don't feel free to say everything I'd like. Sounds paranoid, I know, but I have had something I said once appear in a story about Jake & Deacon. I know that was borrowed because it was seen here. It's too much of a coincidence.

lol, Jake. You are such the ornery one. I could just squeeze your cheek. Er , the one on your face, I mean! lol

Smiley, sorry it's taken me awhile. But no, that's not the one. are you friended with Steffi? For right now, that's how you can see those pictures. And I can't show them because she asked that no one use them. But I do believe she said at some point, she's going to show them in a new post that won't be locked. It really is a beautiful sight. And the memorial marker is beautiful as well. It all overlooks the ocean and also somehow looks back onto the city skyline if I recall that part right.

I've got to hit the hay. Not looking forward to getting out in this snow tomorrow.

prairiegirl said...

oh, and one last thing. tr, you could've joined us if you wanted. You don't have to sign in with a registered name. You can just type anything in there and use it. It'd let you in. We had a great time today - met a new person and got to know another one a little better. And thoroughly enjoyed old, tried & true!! lol. So if you're ever in the "neighborhood" and it sounds like one is going on, please feel free to join us. It'd be fun.

okay, now I'm done.

Looked at the new picture of Jake at the medical arts building and noticed something. You nee the dark necklace around his neck but if you look closely his gold chain is back too.

m said...

Sorry I missed the chat today. Too many errands to run.

I've been hoping to catch a glimpse of whatever is on Jake's chain for quite some time. He keeps it well hidden. Let's hope the blue ring reappears too. I don't know why, but I feel like Jake just is about done with this charade. The contrast to dour Jake with Reeke vs. the smiling Jake with friends and family is just too revealing.

New Jake pics at IHJ "Shopping on Saturday March 28". All these pix now this week? Wow. Best parts, besides being w/o Chinormica, he's wearing the old jeans, all patched up. He has a slight smile, he looks casual and content, not strained and getting bitched at. And the bag he's carrying, I can't tell what it says but it looks like "Trannies" haha I know it isn't but it sure looks like it. Maybe someone who shops can id the bag/store. The 2 necklaces, they are long under his tee shirt. You can barely see there's something attached, so low it's hanging between where his cleavage is (what do you call that area between the tits on a guy?).

Bad part, he's wearing a hat, but maybe he's being careful of the sun/skin/moles. Who knows. But fuck o mighty it is so great to see him alone and content. So fucking great.

Jake's chain comes off and goes on. Whatever.

Doesn't change the status quo.

It's great to see him out and with a grin (even a little one) on his face.

You can see the little bump from something on his necklace a little more in the newest pictures than in others. Like to think is near his heart - but that's why I wear rose colored glasses.

And love that the words you see next to him in the frame say New Balance - is that crazy cosmic forces telling us something?

For a day you think he would be hustled out for the premiere weekend show and tell, it's great to see him out by himself in favorite comfort clothes running errands.

Good call on the hat about his skin and the Sun.

But one thing what the heck is in his hand - I know its a key ring, but it just looks... well... uhm... yeah...
