I just wanted to say one thing about INF to follow up on the discussion in yesterday's post. INF is the go to agency for "citizen paparazzi" Splash also is set up to buy from the general public but INF has cornered the market. If you ever catch a celebrity on your personal phone/camera contact INF first. You'll get a better price. Splash is nasty to deal with and gives people $50 for something they will sell many times over for thousands.
Anyway, INF didn't show up on MV someone who knows their purchase process sold pictures to them. Now who could that be? Some media savvy island vacationer or the pics were planted. One or the other.
Speaking of Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine, I saw the previews for the new Star Trek movie and are they not a slasher's dream couple?

To the poster who says we don't post pics of Reese, I remember at least two series where Jake and Reese pictures were posted- one was the series with the unicorn and the other was them on vacation in Mexico (I think it was Mexico). Spesh did the posts as a story with the two of them. As for why we don't post more, people here are fans of Jake and Austin, not Reese. People at GB are fans of both Jake AND Reese, so of course they post pictures of both of them.
PG to answer your figure skating questions- I skated and broke my arm doing it. I kept skating after that really wasn't very good at it, so I eventually gave it up. Never even learned how to skate backwards.
The arena for Stars on Ice was hardly full. You could have walked up last night, bought a ticket, and gotten a decent seat. Here are the skaters that were there- Todd Eldredge, Ilia Kulik, Michael Weiss, John Zimmerman, Shen & Zhao, Jennifer Robinson, Dubreuil & Lauzon, Yuka Sato, Sasha Cohen, and Jeffrey Buttle. Jeff Buttle came into the audience and was only a few rows away from us at one point. Hope the pics come out.
Don't get me wrong, I think he looks hot ... not "bang me now," hot but cover of a "Harlequin Romance Novel," hot.
I'm supposed to get "Prince of Persia" from those but I get "white guy from LA with hair extensions and a tan who orders his clothes out of the International Male catalog."
They're trying to use his body to sell the movie just like they did with all of the focusing on the nudity in Jarhead instead of the story during interviews. They should have shown him in these first pictures fighting something, brandishing his weapons, looking like he could kick your ass. Instead I think he's about to explain to me a proper hair care regimen.

I disagree - I like these new Pop picks, think they are bang me now hot, and I don't think they are quite at the level of a romance novel cover. I like his slimmer body, and his hair. They did a good job not making it as severe as the video game character. We'll probably see him in pics brandishing weapons yet! I do agree that promoting Jarhead the way they did many have done it a disservice.
I have one of the Lakers 1 pics as my screen saver on one computer and a Heath montage on the other. But I will be changing Heath to the Jake/Austin sweet smile pic today. Lovely picture.

Whether or not Jake has a happy grin is up to him and how he lives his life and really has nothing to do with us.

PoP is just not working for me. Looks like I'm not alone. Some movies are marketed one way and then when you go to see them it's a completely different movie than it seemed in the promos. I'm hoping that will be the case with PoP.
Well the projects are done and everything is working. No leaks from the shower head and the fire alarms are working. There are parts left over though so I am a little worried about that. What the heck though.

My gut feeling is telling me that they were PR planned now but were done to give the guys some freedom. I do think they need to be seen in public occasionally. How much more hiding can they take. This will take some pressure off as reeke continues in a slightly low key version. I dont think Jake will marry reese . I actually think things have peaked and both are ready to move on with their lives. We will see.

Spesh I meant that even if the pics were aPR plant that they could still be a very good thing. I am still way up. I think the guys might have wanted some freedom to be seen together. If they are a couple and I think they are it has to be brutal to stay hidden so long. These set of photos will take some of that pressure off so the guy can be seen together more often. Someone may be growing tired of living in a cave and put their foot done.

Okay. I like the PoP pics. Really like them. Except for just a couple things.
What I like about them? I'm glad that his abs look natural. Remember in those pictures earlier last year and his ab muscles looked artificial? They don't look at all like that here. And you called that the iliac line or iliac muscle, Special? The one that runs along the hip? Man. I like that he doesn't look near as beefy in these 2 shots. I wonder if they toned it down because I could've sworn he looked alot beefier in those earlier set pictures. And I'm glad they kept his natural body hair. That is darn near perfect distribution. Lol. Doesn't get any better than that. I'm pleasantly, pleasantly surprised by my reaction to these.
The 2 things I'm not wild about? I really don't like the hair - not the length, but the styler stuff they've got in it. No, no, no, fellas!! No V05 needed! He has a gorgeous head of hair and why you wouldn't highlight that is beyond me. And the pose. The second one is too beefcakey. You need a natural action shot or a natural stance; not a posed calendar shot.
I would think that since these are released already that Disney's marketers are going to check out websites and gauge initial reactions? Is that just a cornfield thought or a real possibility? They would be very wise to. Fix whatever gets picked on the most and don't be so stubborn that you're not flexible enough to bend towards public reaction. Well, on second thought, tho, it's too late to do anything now, right? He's done with all the hair extensions and all that. Ok, scrap that possiblity.
Well, the pose has nothing to do with the movie anyway, lol. I don't play video games at all, but I would surely go see this one. Not Rendition, which didn't appeal at all with its subject matter. I never will watch that one. But PoP, yeah. And for his sake alone, I hope it's a great success. Because if it's not, the cost would be unthinkable. How stressful will it be as the release date gets closer? I wonder what the budget for it was?

I honestly get the feeling Jake and Austin arranged the bike photo op themselves, without PR or Reese's knowledge or approval. I think it was a rebellion, but done with concessions so as not to totally out Reeke as fake. Reasons: image agency used (different, smaller, relatively unknown), only pics of the 2 riding (no personal interactions), shot in Brentwood (where Reese lives supposedly with Jake).
You all seem to think there's only 2 choices, PR approved or accidentally papped. There's more than that. Think like a story writer, there's endless possibilities how humans are and react. Who knows maybe LOL Reese set something up so she can get headlines as being used, taken for, a victim, make Jake look bad. I still say, especially after Austin's blog, the pics to me look like a small rebellion. Not PR approved but PR had to work with it, and they did by making sure most sites only had 1 pic of solo Jake and mentioned a "friend."

They certainly could be a happy accident for a pap on the move. INF does have people who work regularly in LA, but they are true stalkerazzi who wouldn't follow anyone across the country. That is why I think the Massachusetts pictures were sent in by a fellow tourist or made to look like that and sent by PR.

The Vineyard is usually are paps free zone and has been for ages. And I thought it was really odd that of all the celebrities that summer there summer after summer and that you never ever see, suddenly Reese shows up once and bingo.
The other thing about the picture was that at first they gave the credit to the Boston Herald, but the Herald wouldn't do a paps kind of shot on the Vineyard. They might run it and the Track girls will talk about all the gossip there. But there are bigger names on the Vineyard to get pictures of than Reese at the fair.

The wonderful pictures of Jake and Austin were right smack out in the open. It sure wasnt like they were sneaking around anywhere and got caught. Anything is possible. But again it doesnt matter. PR approved, J and A approved who cares. J and A were photographed together. That is actually all I care about. The dicussion on how and why is interesting and debateable. All I know is I want more.

In the minority once again it seems. The PoP pics do absolutely nothing for me. Rather cheesey, actually. Like a cheap romance novel model, that's what Jake looks like standing there.
Whether I actually pony up the bucks to see PoP depends not on beefcake pics, but on what happens with Reeke while we wait for opening day. More Reeke bullshit, more insipid stories in the tabloids, a for more show only engagement - than not only will PoP disappear from my movies to see list, but so will "Brothers" and "Nailed." Not going to give my implict vote for bearding.

I agree with Jersey Tom. Who cares why the biking pics showed up. I am just going to enjoy them and the knowledge that the boys are still very much together. Matching hats, matching sunglasses. Seems like Austin has grown. Alongside Jake he looked even larger than in the owl pics, even though Jake has buffed up himself. They must be working out together. Let's see if Ted has a Toothy blind vice soon about Toothy telling his handlers to f--k off.
Prairie Girl, I'm a bit confused by the movie stills as well. Usually they are snapped while filming. These look very posed. You may be right that they were taken recently, maybe against a blue screen to make it look like it was during filming. Jake's hair color seems to vary by day. Regardless, I think they erred by using shirtless pics to start as they do look gay. They should have worked up to them slowly. I have a feeling these came out sooner than intended.
I really don't care whether the J&A pics are PR approved or not. I only know for a fact now, that J&A did not part ways 2 years ago. I don't know if anything nasty is round the corner but will deal with it if and when it happens.
The PoP pics, Jake looks great but he doesn't work for me as the Prince. The eyes are too soft and young. They don't match the overtly macho "jewelery" props he's wearing imo. But these are only 2 pics and it's hard to judge how he will look in the movie.
I agree with the poster who says he/she will not see Jake's movies if the bearding continues. Neither will I.
But hey, I still love the Jaustin pics! and a hundred cool points to Jake for letting them happen :))
