Walk and Roll

Jake was rolling rolling rolling

While there was a mysterious mention of him in Pittsburgh. (Perhaps getting the housing situation squared away) he was back in the city that never sleeps and rolling along.

After a quick good bye to Mama

Jake was back in the saddle

Kind of

Gotta get it started

There it is...

Wait where did all these people come from

You'd think it was New York City or something

And this was a sidewalk

Guess that means I can carry the helmet until I hit the street

But let's just talk a second....

How smooth are those gams?

Grrrl you don't get that smooth unless you wax on wax off

And the socks?  Who taught you to wear midcalfs with shorts?

Photortunity

Jake taking his bike out for a walk today.

And it would have to be a walk.

Why?

Because those big old Nikes will never fit into the clips on those pedals. And those narrow pedals and those clunky Nikes would make it annoying to pedal all over the city.  Now if it was Jake's hybrid/mountain bike instead of this touring style bike that would be the better match.

One question,  how long do you have to walk your bike before it does its business?

Tableside selfie of a selfie

Mama F tweeted a picture of her and Jake, and Jake had a bit of a poke at himself.  (Way to work that reflection, sounds like you are related to several directors)

Her caption:  Who is this guy? #thursdaydinnerwithmyson

Now she posted this on yesterday (Wed) so the question is what Thursday was it?

LAwbreaker

OMG wasn't some Two Wheel Tuesday, and it looks like it was Jake and not Austin giving some pedal on Thursday instead.

A clean shaven Jake

Now Jakey you are looking sooooo good without all that crazy scruff.

You are way too young to go Billy Goat Gruff.

Jake has played some law enforcers lately but Thusday he was a lawbreaker.

Do you know what he could stopped for?

All the B's a buzz

With rehearsals beginning tomorrow was it was bikes and beaches for Jake this past weekend.

Getting  a little fun and sun in, and maybe with the small and tall too.  And a little memory making.

That was after Jake took to the streets. He is riding a touring bike around Brooklyn on to the set of his mom's film.

Look how thin and narrow those wheels are.  You are going to feel bump and bounce from the street.  And forget about potholes hit one and you will bend that rim up but good.

But no more cruising on past.  The real work begins. Tomorrow is back to business and a new challenge for Jake. The American stage.  And Jake is ready for it.  It's a whole new chapter and no one knows where this could lead for him.

Tickets went on sale today for the American premiere of Nick Payne’s If There Is I Haven’t Found It Yet, featuring Annie Funke, Michelle Gomez, Tony Award winner Brían F. O’Byrne and Jake. Previews begin August 24th at Off- Broadway’s Laura Pels Theatre. Opening Night is Sept. 20 and runs for 13 weeks through Nov. 25.

Momma & Me

Jake got a little Mom time today when he visited them shooting in Brooklyn.

Sticking to the Black Ops look he seemed he might actually enjoying talking to a photographer.  Who knew?

After after a tweet last night it didn't seem he was that much of a fan.

What a difference a day makes.  Or maybe just the location.  Or the company. (Or the lack of company today.
And nope Jake is not trying to do an upstairs downstairs look with his pants, it is more likely he hopped on a bike to ride over and see Mom.

He such a big guy now.  All grown up and lost his dork disc too.

Jakey smiles and sun look great on you.  Keep it up we don't get to see them or you enough.

It's like it's Two Wheel Tuesday two days late.

Bonus Austin Friday:

Think Austin will be grabbing one or two or five of theses?

Over the years these two have done pretty big Ninja like stealthy moves.
