Today shooting is scheduled to wrap in Uruguay for The Informers, with Austin heading back home if he is not already there.
The temptation to stop off in New Mexico must be there, but there are gifts to buy for the holidays and a birthday to get ready for of course, no time for side trips or is there?
Distance may make the heart grow fonder, but does it help dealing with the current situation even more? Can being on location almost compartmentalize things enough that while away, it is life as normal, back to the texts, emails and phone calls like they have always done, the bristle of the "beard" not scratching at them. Can they have it all? Isn't that what was hope for, what Toothy adored about his Goose?
Now that's not to say that there aren't plans together for next couple of weeks. Will it be birthday, Christmas or ringing in the New Year? Heck, why not all three!

Why do you think Ted is so puzzled by Austin's actions recently in going along with this romance? He's talked about plenty of closeted stars before who have bfs and a wife.
Maybe it is because of their current relationship status - which might be more committed than known - Ted wonders why he would go along with it.

I think Ted is also puzzled because he didn't think someone from J&A's generation would put up with such blatant bearding and not being able to just live their lives, especially if they're in relationship. It's not just the bearding, if we believe Ted, it's cancelling on people and not doing anything "gay". And you can bet there haven't been any dinners out at the Jar or anywhere else since this all started. From the beginning what made Toothy different was having a boyfriend rather than just hookups.

Super hot picture of Austin, even if you can't see his face. I love his hair in this photo - reminds me of the lakers 1 photos. Just enough curl and long enough that I can imagine Jake running his fingers through it.
It would be great if Austin would visit Jake on set. I always wondered if something special had happened to inspire Jake's trailer visit. It seemed like a bold move for the secret couple and out of character. Like making up after a lovers quarrel or something.
^maybe it was in response to all the Reese and Jake stories at that time. A sort of reassurance?

It's from the collection of a friend of Austins, who also designed the red "For Rent" shirt. There are some more pictures of him in that shirt, I can post them if you haven't seen them yet.

The trolls love to argue that JFC visit never happened cos what else does it sound like except a booty call? Y'know if you really wanted to talk to a friend give him a call, if you want to see where he's working go have a look around set.....and it's from a source other than Ted.
If I'm expected to believe anon bloggers (after Rome) that Reese sneaked into Jake's hotel in NY, then I'm also going to believe this leak from the JFC security :-)

What makes the JFC visit even more significant is the fact that Jake and Austin not only were photographed biking twice around the time of the visit, they also went to Jar again.
Having seen Austin that often during that month, why would Jake miss Austin so much that he drives all the way to the JFC set if they were just friends?
Especially since the same people who say these things are also trying to make us believe that Austin never was a close friend of Jakes to begin with.
And it's not like Reese wasn't around in LA during that month either, so if Jake really was so desperate for something to do how about spending some time with his "girlfriend"?
When Jake went down to San Diego it was a little less than two weeks before Austin's birthday. Maybe it was for a little surprise pre-birthday thing.
^What little surprise was that then that Jake couldn't give Austin in Texas for his birthday? ;-)
Another interesting thing about that JFC set visit- not only is the source not Ted, but Ted did not say anything about it in his column. And he didn't put it into a TT BI either. If Ted had no sources of his own and only used internet stories for his TT and Jake stuff, would he have ignored that one?
TMZ also had sources different than the Awful Truth so this Jaustin angle had nothing to do with Toothy.

Way to go Jodie, better late than never. But there is no better time than while you ate one of the top 10 earning actresses in HW. Hope a few people learn a thing or two from this. Starting from those big execs sitting in those HW leather chairs.

NBC is trying out "Saturday Night Live" compilations as a regular primetime series on Saturdays. Four 90-minute "best of" shows will air starting this Saturday as well as Dec. 15, Dec. 22 and Dec. 29 from 9:30-11 p.m.
The four "SNL" clip shows scheduled so far include "The Best of Will Ferrell" (Saturday), "The Best of Chris Farley" (Dec. 15), "The Best of 2006-07"(Dec. 22) and "SNL Goes Commercial" (Dec. 29).

Jodie has a long history of being very evasive about her personal life to the point where she has seemed like she is hiding something. I don't need her to make a public statement declaring herself lesbian. As I said before, if she continues to be open to talking about her partner, I will consider her out because she will no longer be hiding. However, this one statement from her is not enough for me to consider her out.

GoJodie asked me if I consider this Jodie coming out. I don't. She's maybe cracking the door open and letting a little light in. I don't expect her to live her life to please me. I only hope she doesn't expect me to live my life to please her either!
I agree with Wicked, it's a step, but I wouldn't call it being out. And no, I'm not looking for announcements either. For me it would be, for example, mentioning her girlfriend went with her on vacation, as opposed to one of the recent interviews where she said I was just on vacation with my kids (and mentioned the place, which I don't recall). Or even just using "we" were on vacation with the kids, which is what most people would say if they weren't censoring themselves.
Wicked, I am afraid you have no idea what it means to live in the public eye. You expect people under that level of scrutiny and spotlight to behave as you do in your perfectly ordinary life, which is absurd. i doubt Jodie has any expectation on you

Everything about that blog smelled of PR to me. From the look, the writing and even some of the comments. It was seriously bizarre stuff. The fact that they've "closed" plus the message they've written to that effect makes it come across like the very limited experiment it was.
That photo of Austin is startlingly beautiful. I love the sunset pouring through his collar. I hope he's heading home with very special purpose. :)

Re Jodie Foster, apart from a couple of weeks a few years ago where her and Russell Crowe did some bizarre pretend love thing at the Golden Globes, Jodie hasn't given in to the bearding thing, which is to her credit.
But she is not out. She doesn't acknowledge Cydney as her romantic partner (although she might be getting closer to it) but as her personal assistant/business partner. Believe it or not, there are lots of people out there who have no idea these two live together nor how long they've been living together.
So until she specifies that Cydney is her life partner, then she is not out.
Where people are getting upset with her is where in recent interviews she is saying that she won't talk about her private life but then talks about her children in the same interview. Are her children not part of her private life?
Some people think it's hypocritical.
I still love her though and applaud her for surviving everything she has survived - and doing it in the public eye without fuss.
About 10 years ago, a guy I then worked with told me that he considered me a Jodie Foster type of woman. I consider that to be the best compliment I've ever received.
Interesting news about the Gyllenspoon Digest. I thought that maybe the blogger was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work that blogging is. It is a lot to do by yourself, and I think that blog was run by one person. It is curious that all the content was removed, though.
