What to Get the Men who Have Everything

What would be the perfect Christmas gifts for Jake and Austin? How about-

Or how about simply this-

Never enough time, never enough. May there be enough time this holiday season.

Happy Christmas to all here. (Probably my last chance to post for a week or so.) It woud be nice if you could arrange a Jausty picture for my return :-)

Will a troll pop up soon saying "but that picture is two years old" like anything that didn't happen last week is irrelevant!

They seemed so nervous about the paps here already - even though Toothy and Austin weren't commonly associated then. You can see why they have to keep a low-profile now. It's never been the same for them since Lakers I.

Max, a very Happy Christmas to you too! I hope we'll have the same thing upon your return. :)

Wicked and Special, the "Simply This" is my wish for Christmas for our guys too. In other words, All I Want For Christmas is YOU! It was my Birthday Wish for them, a wish of love and also one for fun and laughs (for them). It will be interesting to see if the trolls can possibly keep themselves away from harassing us, they must be beside themselves, but the show must go on. ;)

Thanks for the Loreena McKennitt song this morning! I like traditional old English and Celtic carols too. :)

NETB, "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen" was one of my least favorite Christmas carols, until I heard this version. Loreena McKennitt is a goddess. :)

Isn't she? A Celtic goddess! ;)

Definitely the best gift would be them having what they truly want - their life together.

No consequences to their careers, no need for subterfuge or carefully crafted answers.

Just that normal life that Toothy loves his Gray Goose for believing they can have.

That was very sweet, and moving, Special. *

This is an amazing version of the carol. I like it when it goes middle Eastern.

Merry Christmas Max! Take care and have plenty of fun!

Wow, one more great song. I probably have twenty versions of "God Rest Ye.." at home (remember I'm fond of Christmas music!) and the one you're playing today is one of the best IMO. I love it when McKennitt's style is not "watered down" to please the mass; they did just that with one of her hits called "The Mummer's Dance". If you've only heard the version playing on standard radio stations, get the original ASAP, it's ten times better.

I pretty much like all of Jaustin good moments, my interest or fondness for one or the other varying as days go by but I'm really happy you included one of the "long coat" pics Wicked. True, they look upset on that series of photos but Austin is also terrific in that style. I don't know if what he wears is considered a fashion faux pas but to me that coat is a total delight. :)

I probably won't post often during the coming days (giving a midnight party on the 24, dinners to attend, etc., etc., etc.) but I'll try to drop by to say hello. BTW, I can't believe you guys take the trouble to post something new every day in that awfully busy period of the year. You are two totally fabulous blogstresses! ;) :D

We just got our tree in and decorated. Now we just have to keep the buns out of it! They love that tree.

I wonder where the boys are today? Will Brothers take a break from filming for Christmas?

Does anybody know what happened to austinnicholsfan.com? I can't get there, is it alive?

Web, I just got there. Here's the link I used. Although I have to say for great Austy resources check out Austin Media and Spooky2th's LJ. Both are linked at right.

Thank you, Wicked. It's something wrong with my computer then, I keep getting a blanc page. And yes, both sites you mentioned are great :)

All I want for xmas is for Jake and Austin to be together, and to begin a happy and wonderfully open life together. Wishing all the OMG crowd a happy holiday as well.

Looks like Tobey is back in LA. So it looks like they have a few days to celebrate the holiday.

Tobey Buzzed at Mr. Chow

Wonder where Jake and Austin will decide to spend it together? Maybe this year Texas? Since last year it looked like it was a California Christmas for them.

I thought I saw that pic earlier in the week, Spesh. Meaning that Tobey was in LA, while Jake was still filming in NM. I do hope Jake will be off during the holidays.

I may be in fog from the snow and thaw, shopping, and too much punch!

And I'm with you hoping that Jake get at least a long weekend to celebrate with his Christmas Goose.

According to THIS LJ Jake and Natalie were on set early today. I hope it was their last bit of filming and that Jake does get some time off for the holidays.

Wicked said...

Wow, it seems like everything ends up on LJ eventually. So Jake might still be in NM. Well, TX and NM are not that far from each other, now are they? ;)

Right next door, darlin', right next door. ;)

Hmmm, not sure if I really believe a sighting from someone that not only says that Jake and Natalie are old friends, but also that the two of them know several of her friends by name.
That's not to say that they're not on set anymore, they could very well be.

I'd also love to see a photo of J&A by the end of 2007. If that's not possible then how about a photo of Jake wearing this or this.

BV, they are absolutely perfect. I would love to see that. ;)

Here's hoping Jake and Austin secured their holiday time together and alone months ago. Maybe after all the family commitments are seen to. :) And I echo special's wish for them - to be living their lives together, in private and public without a second thought. I find it difficult to get into deep analysis when it comes to the two of them (although I appreciate and love reading the more in-depth posts here and on WFT; they are needed). I think at the very heart of things, it's very, very simple: they love one another and are together. It's everything and everyone around them; consequential or not that's endlessly complicated. I want real simplicity for them.

I'm also attending a lot of parties and get-togethers leading up to Christmas and may not be able to post much after this for a bit, so I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone at OMG and their loved ones a very happy, peaceful and *fun* holiday. :o)

My hope for 2008 is that J&A move in together if they haven't done so already :)

Blue velvet, I'd faint with joy if I saw jake wearing that shirt. Love it ;)

Wicked said...

BV, too bad I already sent Tom's Christmas package! If I'd known about those shirts, you better believe they would have been in there. I sent Tom a Jausty Survival Kit, with some necessary items to help him keep going in this tumultuous fandom!

LOL at the t-shirts :D Hmm, think I'd prefer mine in sky blue :D

Happy Christmas to all at OMG and to our boys *

Would love to see Jake wearing those LOL!

Merry Christmas to everyone on OMG! I hope the boys get to spend the holidays together or together with family :)

Happy Christmas to all at OMG and WFT ^__________^
