They booked the room months in advanced and just couldn't afford to lose the deposit, so Nailed had its wrap party or more like night out with free drinks and snacks last Wednesday before filming has finished. What optimism. Then again, SC might not give them the check unless they did all those Hollywood things, umbrella holders - check, check, film - check, pay crew - check, party - .... no party no check.
Sadly Jess and Jake didn't join in the fun. Who knows they may have had to work through it, or just maybe just didn't want to answer those pesky cocktail questions that seem to come up. With Nailed it might have been a minefield. Money woes, layoffs, definitely things not spoken about at a party and charm can only take you so far when a Southern lady is persistent asking about wedding bells. What would Jess say? ; )
So no worries buckaroos, Nailed is still hammering away, unfortunately Jake may have to watch the Lakers lose in South Carolina on Sunday night. (kidding kidding, - Go Celtics!)
And all this talk about singing cowboys, sisters, and Clooney this week....well you'll see, ok hear.

Bubbleboy is on tv, and I watching, laughing and can't wait to see Jake in another comedy. He needs to do more.
Despite what you think about what he is doing off screen, you have to still give him the kudos for what he has done on screen. From Moonlight Mile, Good Girl, Darko, BBM, Zodiac. I hope people don't get so caught up in their current sentiment that they dismiss the work he's done.
Anybody seen anything else about Nailed? Or know when it's gonna be done? Doesn't Jake have to start PoP soon?

I agree, Special, that Jake has a talent for comedy and it will be interesting to see him in a comic role again. Whether Nailed will be any good as a comedy remains to be seen, but I'm pretty intrigued to see Jake in this film, nonetheless.

Now think about that respect to Jake with different people.
I agree, it's more the sensuality of what you are looking at, not who the subjects are - and even more than that, if they have real feelings for each other or if it appears that they do, that's a turn-on, not just people going at it. That they are enjoying it, and their facial expressions, and sounds, all of the senses involved. :)

Did you know there was a director's cut Bubbleboy? I was floored when they said a directors cut version on the TV today. It looked like they put more of the Bright and Shiney people. I think they added a little more for syndicated tv package.
But I love Bubbleboy can't help it. And still quote it all the time.
When I bought Bubble Boy I really thought I would just watch it once, because it's one of Jakes movies and I guess I should see it.
But then it was just so funny and well-done that I really enjoyed it and ended up watching it more than once instead of just having it in my DVD collection.
The face he makes while saying "500 dollas!" alone is worth watching that movie.
Friend of mine used to work nights in little neighborhood video place, and Bubbleboy was always a go to for late night and weekends.
So if I yelled ice cream, ice cream in the office I know I would hear curry, curry back.
I want to see Jake do more comedy too Special and Orchid. He was great on SNL.
