So Rad

It looks like it was worth the wait and a way back to the 80's so

Austin could show off his Halloween costume.

From the 1986 BMX Film -- RAD -- Directed By Hal Needham -- Rex and Rod with our Foxy babe. Rod was played by @dankeyes - Rock God!! - AUS10

Dan aka Rock God is from the New York band Young Love.

"Prior to creating Young Love, Dan Keyes fronted the Austin, Texas post-hardcore band Recover with much help from Rory Phillips. After releasing three albums with the quartet, Keyes felt the need for change, but continued work with Phillips. A friend offered him a place to stay in New York City, and within weeks Keyes was traveling from Austin to New York with just one bag and his guitar. Keyes spent 2005 working at a restaurant in the city as well as working on music that he started while he was touring with Recover. At the end of 2005 Island Records signed the musician, and by summer 2006, Keyes and his band, now known as Young Love, were performing with Stolen Transmission at Annex in New York City. In mid-July, a live video of Keyes performing the song "We Want Drugs" acoustic was released on YouTube." -source

And the movie Rad?

"The film's story focuses on Cru Jones (Bill Allen), a young BMX racer who lives in a small town with his mother (Talia Shire) and sister. Cru is faced with a tough decision: the qualifying races for Helltrack are the same day as his SATs, which he must take in order to attend college. However, winning Helltrack means a lucrative sponsorship deal and fame. Cru chooses the latter option, ignoring his mother's wishes.

The Helltrack race is endorsed by the city and a duplicitous Duke Best (Jack Weston), president of The Federation of American Bicyclists and owner of Mongoose bicycles. Best keeps adjusting the rules in order to keep Cru out of the race and to ensure BMX star Bart Taylor (1984 Olympic gymnastics champion Bart Conner) has an easy road to victory, thus providing a financial windfall for Mongoose Racing, Bart's sponsor.

Racers from all around come to this small town for the Helltrack and Cru meets Christian Hollings (Lori Loughlin), who becomes Cru's romantic interest. Christian and Cru have an interesting scene at the local high school dance where, instead of dancing like the other couples, they perform freestyle bike stunts on the dance floor, to the awe of many."

As for Rod and Rex?

Well the question is Mr. Nichols did you do the dance routine?

Funny costume.

Funny how Austin decided to speak up again though, isn't it? Here I am, see, I was too busy dressing up for Halloween with adults, there's no way I was helping little ones celebrate Halloween, blah blah blah

For those out there watching closely, you see what some of us see. The cover-up has been sloppy at best on this one. Austin and Jake's people rolled out of bed a tad late on this one though, lol. They whiffed. They came into the game with 4 fouls already. They missed the baton. They false started. Misfire!! Just really lame stuff out there. This one was kind of like playing with a dead mouse, no fun fellas!!! Didn't even put up a good challenge. There was only one needle in the haystack on this one but wow.

**smh**

; )

Knowing Austin he picked the costume because of the dance scene in the movie.

Finally back to work. Busy busy busy.

This is kind of funny. All my relatives from Florida called me and asked if I was ok after the hurricane. What is wrong with this picture.
