Loving these new Austin pix. They're "playful" - I think that's the best word for them, very appealing.
Of course, playing with androgyny is not any sure indication of being a man-lover. No way. There's a long history of straight men doing just that, but it kinda does mesh with Austin being Toothy's bf.
Why is Jake protesting to much with the godfather comment? Sorry but I see no problem with that. Frankly, nothing he is going to say is going to satisfy you I am sure. Unless he comes out and the says yes of course I am Toothy Tile. Whatever.... Seemed some of it was culled from other interviews anyway.

ITA. In so many of these interviews Jake is telling the same stories. Guess all celebs have sound bites that they use in interview situations.
I think the days of Jake giving spontaneous answers to interview questions are long gone. We know that it’s agreed upon up front that certain questions won’t be asked. We can pretty much guess that he knows the questions that will be asked ahead of time so that he can prepare “spontaneous’ answers. I’m sure this is true of most stars. The bad thing here is that Jake’s spontaneity was one of the things that made him so appealing and so unlike other big-name stars.
It's too bad that you all get stuck on one thing Jake said. I thought the interview was interesting and was upset to read Jake was called the f-word.
Honestly I thought that latest Jake interview was part new stuff, part cut-and-paste from older articles.

I thought it was interesting that Jake mentioned he likes to stirring the pot. I think he does that with a lot of things.
Austin does have a dark Billy thing going on. Except Billy wouldn't do that sweater. EVAH. I do like the almost boyish flip of the hair to go with that most mischievous grin.
The only thing wrong with these Austin pics is that they do not fill my entire monitor. Would love to see them full screen.
As to why I think Austin is more mature than Jake, just my impression from the interviews I've seen or read. There is something very child like about Jake and his need to please always shows to me. All any of us can do is get impressions from what we see or hear.
There is a big difference being child like and childish. Being child like is not always a bad thing. : )

No need to hide, Frenchy - I'm still laughing about Austin channelling Ricky Martin. How about Austin as Billy Idol channelling Ricky Martin with a bit of Austin's own unique quirkiness thrown in for good measure? The most striking thing about the photos (other than Austin's gorgeous features) is how vastly different they are from one another. I'm not sure I would know they were the same person if I didn't know Austin and if I wasn't paying close attention.

Hearing this song makes me want to SWIM. At my pool, we always have music and pool manager Harold is usually at the controls. He plays mostly old school soul and '60s funk, with some '50s doo-wop thrown in. Sometimes I come to the pool and Rick James and James Brown are playing. That's how I know Harold is on vacation and lifeguard Jimmy is the DJ!

you guys realize, today is an exact month sice Heath's passing...I was not a fan of the guy, I didn't know him well, I was always into Jake, but during this month I learnt a lot of new things of his art and personality that made me think I wish I had the chance to be his fan. His death was shocking and saddened me.
Is anyone offically sure that Jake is actively campaigning for Hillary? I am sure he will support Obama if he gets the nomination.

I haven't heard anything about who he's supporting. I thought the idea that Jake was for Hillary came from the fact that Reese is pro-Hillary.
I thought he might be supporting Hillary because he had lunch or dinner with Chelsea in NYC. We werent sure if Austin was with Jake but I think some people thought that was the same day as the famous digital dance.
Just because Jake had dinner with Chelsea doesn't mean he supports Hillary. Jake and Chelsea are friends.
I've always thought that some people would naturally assume that Jake is supporting Hillary because of his supposed "family ties" with the Clintons - or at least that's what we were told repeatedly in the past (re: stories about the Gyllenhaals having dinner/being friends with the Clintons back at MV, etc.)
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Jake actually supports Obama but is being discrete about it. ;)

Oh man, the reekers assume lots of things. Did Jake ever say he was happy in his "relationship" with Reese?. Never heard him comment on that. Yet, the reekers assume she makes him happy.
I've seen the chemistry between Jake and Austin, and between Jake and other people. But never ever seen that spark between Jake and Reese. As a matter of fact and per the reeke pictures on the net, Jakes looks tired, or sad or depressed or worried or anything and everything but happy with Reese. So, you can't assume anything from Jake, just because of Reese. If Jake is pro-Hillary is because of himself and the Reese conection a mere coincidence.

I haven't seen anything about Jake supporting Hillary or anyone else this year. I think some of us were surprised to see Austin's involvement in this year's election rather than Jake's. I happen to know many long-term couples who are split between Obama and Hillary - guess it's because they share a life but they don't share a brain. Even more shocking, I actually know couples who are split between the Red Sox and the Yankees - that's true love if you ask me.

I can't believe its been a month already, either. There were so many layers to Heath that the loss just deepens as we learn more about him. I think Heath's sensitivity made him shy away from the limelight while his talent brought him towards it. Whatever myteries remain I think we can be sure Heath had incredible talent and a beautiful soul...and the world was a better place for him being in it.
Jake has said, on record (somewhere) that he's stuck between Obama and Clinton (or Clinton and Obama). I don't recall exactly where he said it, but I've read it within quotes.
