From these pictures from last March, Jake was in a chilly NY, but it seems something was making a warm glow. Or someone. Who could be on the other end of the other end of that call?
Now we might know who was on his mind, but where was his mind?
A warm sunny spot in San Diego? A trailer with a good game of backgammon with snacks from craft services? Come on, it must be something like his next interview of the day, why else would that grin be so big?

Congratulations on your six month anniversary, and thank you for what must now be over 180 posts. I saw these pictures last night and was really struck by that third picture. Even out with his good friend Chris he didn't have that smile until the phone call.

Ted is being easy on Jake right now, but he did allow a question about Toothy's bearding so that is something. Ted seems to stick to a once a week mention of Toothy, most times.
I had always hoped that someday Jake and Heath would do some ommentary for a special edition of BBM. Like 10 years from now to bring lots of perspective, but now that will never happen.

Know Wicked is happy of a picture with a clean shaven Jake. And probably that will be the case for Nailed. Most in politics are clean shaven, as are those in media in front of the camera. Why? People tend to have a subliminal distrust of people in leadership or public speaking who have beards. Some feel it is because the beard obscures people's mouths and there eyes can't really see what they are hearing.
And probably that will be the case for Nailed.
Hope so! And speaking of politics, today DC, MD, and VA all have their primaries. It's exciting because usually by the time we vote, there is a clear frontrunner. This year's race is so close that DC actually matters! Yay!

I think Jake is just gorgeous, with or without facial hair, but I do love these pics of him clean-shaven, I love the length of his hari in these, and the coat and scarf, and the smile, of course. :)

We're still together, still best friends of almost 8 years and I just love being around him. It will be 1 year of us actually being together on Thursday and we're celebrating by going to see Jumper because it just looks like a badass movie!
His sister wants to throw us an anniversary party - I got a good laugh out of that. I forget we're in a relationship sometimes until we sneak a kiss in usually, still just kinda feels like I'm hangin with my bestest...I think this is what love feels like :)

Yes it looks like Chris is wearing Jakes favorite pair of jeans and a sweater from the grampy cashmere cardigan collection.
Someone over on IHJ already pointed that out. You must mean the jeans that Chris is wearing because the jeans Jake were wearing look brand new.
Jake is wearing what appears to be the same jeans on 1/26/08, the pictures taken 4 days after Heath's death, he is with Reese and the kids.
The light patches appear to be either bleach or tears, I have seen Chris wearing those before.
Jake will never get rid of those jeans.
I actually think those jeans are the same as from Lakers 1 (check the knee darts). Gorgeous as the 'pre-Reeke' Jake looks I'm sorry to say, but I don't think anyone would want to share the coat that Jake's wearing in these latest photos. /For some reason it looks like washed wool, which is always unfortunate on a man. Can't see our resident fashionisto Austin (swoon!!) eyeing that garment enviously.
Actually he had them on in the pictures from the Lakers. I think when they are too well worn they will go to their Hall of fame spot where the postage stamp t-shirt went. The khaki t-shirt and Great Western Landscape baseball cap have early odds for induction, but I think the dark horse will be the one of the Grampa cardigans.

I obviously meant to call myself 'sartorialist lite'.. duh.. however I agree, Jake does know how to work the grey cashmere. But then.. that's sort of easy.. he should try the leather plaited 'suspenders?' like his friend. If you can pull those off (and Austin can, although in my book he could pull off a bin liners and a hair net) you can pull off anything.

Maybe, although i do get some pleasure in thinking that Jake seems to have far fewer clothes (by a long mark) than I do.
Personally, I would love to set fire to that lumberjack coat of Jake's. Build a great confligration that can be seen from planes above, and dance around the fire naked, singing and chanting "Reeke I release thee! Reeke get thee hence! Reeke, a pox on thee!"

Awwww I love, love, love a long coat on a man! This one looks like cashmere to me. It's a good thing Jack or Ennis weren't a wearing cowboy duster in Brokeback, between that and the boots, I might have passed out from lust! ;)
OT Reese is sure getting some bad flak from her bully comments and with Ryan's opening up about their marraige. Methinks its the beginning of the end of the 'Reese is a good mother' and 'the perfect wife who was wronged' and 'Reese is a perfect person' (and so tiny too!) PR crap we've been getting. Along with her Penelope bomb. Beard or not, Jake needs to cut his losses. NOW.
I think Jake looks very sexy in the coat and scarf! There are some sexy pics of him looking straight at the camera all model like....sigh... Jake may wear some things over and over again but he looks damn good when he gets all cleaned up for premieres, photo shoots and awards shows. Like Austin Jake rocks the stubble too (sorry Wicked) like no other! And yeah it does seem like Jake shares clothes. Those are def. his jeans on Chris.

OK, I have never posted anything before, but since I can't stand this bitch, I feel compelled to.
First of all, my sisters and I went to school with her. She is a few years older than me but my older sister was in her grade, and I know for a fact that this girl was NOT picked on, unpopular, or the target of bullies.
She has a history of lying about her childhood, though. A few years ago she said in a magazine that when she was looking for a prom dress, she had to shop from the Sears catalog because there was nowhere in Nashville that sold nice clothes. LIAR!!!! Nashville is a big city with PLENTY of nice stores (hello, a lot of people who are huge in the music industry and have big bucks live here!!!).
She is a piece of work... but I think that she has created a story about her childhood that "sounds good" and she's repeated it so many times she probably believes her own lies.

There is a singer and an actor/singer here in Australia who are both out of the closet.
Their names are Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell. Anthony was runner up a few years ago on Aussie Idol and Tim is a former soapie actor (Home and Away) and now does theatre/hosting work
Anyway, they've been hanging out together since they broke up with their respective partners last year and Tim admitted in a radio interview that friendship has turned into love.
It's so sweet and I wish them all the best.
