There is something different about this picture, and its on Austin's face. When acting he loses himself in the part, but usually photos it seems he gets a little self conscious of his good looks and tightens up. But here, you don't see anything like that. What makes this one so different?

He is so hot in this picture. Definetely in my top 5 when it comes to pictures of Austin.
Love today's song. Wicked described it as very Dreamgirlsy which is a perfect description.
The picture. You can see Austin has learned that one of his best looks is chin down, head slightly turn, eyes up to the corner and that his right side his best.
This picture is so good, you can seeing a openess to his face. His eyes grab you, that look says everything.
Yes, yes, yes, this is now one of my favorite Austin pics as well. Of course nothing will outdo Lakers 1, unless they catch our boys in a hot kiss someday. He does look like he has a secret. I wish the pic had a date on it, so we could trace it back to one of the times Jake had shaved legs. Jake has always struck me as one to who likes to play vamp. Did you see the way he was trying on the pink bracelets in Cannes.
Ted has specifically stated that he does not make up the letters.

Oh yeah, they look like they could be a guy's legs, albeit kind of spindly (sp?), tho. It's hard to tell from the grain of the photo if that's fine hair on them or just the quality of the picture. Excellent look on Austin, tho. Quality of picture doesn't affect those eyes.

Been soaking up the mood lately on OMG & WFT2 and there seems to be a substantial amount of growing discouragement, despair (whattaworld, whattaworld..), bitterness, etc. regarding the "state of affairs". Some wondering why there seems to be no end in sight to Reeke. One theory to throw out there. I have a great quote from Anonymous (sorry I don't have the author; it was given to me in a lecture) and it's this:

You look @ both J & R and they certainly hardly ever look happy lately. Is either one afraid to let go because of fear of being alone, even though it means being unhappy? Is there insecurity still? Or just plain stubbornness in warding off rumors? Don't know. I'm not saying this is so, but just like that quote, sometimes we cling to a situation in life, a job, relationship, even a neighborhood, that we're not happy in but we stay in it just because we don't know or are afraid to try something else. I know it's Hollywood, but they're still just people, like everyone else. We all have our baggage and brokenness.

One other thing while I'm blogging to myself!
I looked at that Christian the Lion video and that was so cool. I had not heard of that story. How astounding that he remembered those guys. There was another video on Youtube, too, when Christian was younger and he jumped into the arms of one of those guys, just like a human. Thanks, Tom, for the heads up on that video. I rarely watch the national news anymore and would've missed it. :)
Fear and insecurity can makes us hold on to the safe and familiar. But with them I think it all about business.

In the meantime I'm not going to waste the summer, just grab a seat on the Leedo deck, pop on my rose colored glasses, put in the Ipod and wait for Isaac to make my drink.

Great picture of Austin. Love that look. Those legs look like they were just shaved. It is awesome that Austin would take a picture with a man's legs around his neck. Seems he is the one with the cajones in the Gyllenhaal/Nichols household right now.

Tom, those are not man legs. How did they come to be man legs, anyway? This is really silly. Those are the typical wafer thin legs of a female model. If you want to show some cojones, Austin, take a pic with hairy muscular legs around your neck. Tom as usual you jump to conclusions based on thin air.
That's a man baby. Those are some guy gams wrapped around him. They cropped out the knees and the end of the foot to try make the dude look like a lady.
Sorry its a girl but those look like a man's legs to me. Those feet are huge. Look at how thick those ankles are. looks like white mens underwear if you look up high enough also. Plus that is not a womens finger on Austins left shoulder. I am in the Medical field and I have seen plenty of legs. Those legs belong to a man.

I agree, Tom. Those ankles. They're powerful looking ankles. I know some girls with some honkin feet but the ankles are what catch my attention. No cankles there, lol!!
