LOL. Also amusing are the related Reeke stories that are on the side, including one from last November saying she turned down a marriage proposal that says in part:
"Apparently she thinks it’s too soon after her divorce from Ryan Philippe and it has nothing to do with the fact Jake is gay which is something we may or may not have completely made up based on no facts whatsoever."
FWIW: Extra TV had a woman who reads celeb altrological charts on last night. Her prediction about Reeke is that they wouldn't last because they really weren't a good match in the long run. I didn't need a chart to come to the same conclusion.

Pop One: There appears to be no slowing down the speculation that it is getting very serious between Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon. Of course that seems quite logical as they have been dating for some time and even from paparazzi photos they seem like a good couple that really cares and dotes over Reese's two kids. But as the two really don't seek publicity, a wedding would be interesting. Will they sneak off for a quiet ceremony or invite all of their friends and try to outsmart the paparazzi and the press?

Re: Editing of BBM - I read some of the comments after the article. I had no idea that they cut the DVD version of movies as well. Thats pretty shocking. I guess i'll have to look for un-cut versions in the future.

Now mind you, I have a hard time believing this story because once again, there's only quotes from that all too familiar "insider". But (as some of you know, I have my free 52-wk sub to Star) in the issue that came out last week, there's a story titled "Reese & Jake - Wedding Surprise". It says there was an eyewitness @ the LA Hotel Bel-Air who saw Reese talking to staff about planning her wedding. On June 12. Then again on June 16.
According to an eyewitness at the ritzy hotel, "Reese was inquiring about having a small wedding ceremony in the garden area next to the lake where the swans are. She asked how many people she could fit in there." Another source reveals that Reese, 32, whose first wedding took place at a plantation near Charleston, S.C., was also seen looking at fabric swatches and going over written plans with an assistant at the hotel. A few days later, on June 16, Reese was back at the luxury hotel yet again, going over wedding details, says a source.
blah, blah, blah (edit) The actress is "a perfectionist," notes an insider. "And she wants her wedding to Jake to be nothing but the best!" The event is sure to be a family affair. And Reese's two children from her 8-yr marriage to Ryan will be included in the festivities, says a friend. The plan is for Ava, 8, to be a flower girl and for her 4-year old brother, Deacon, to be the ring bearer. And the Hotel Bel-Air would be the ideal place. "The garden there is where a lot of Hollywood power players get married," the insider explains, noting that Kate Beckinsale tied the knot there, "So it's logical that Reese and Jake would want to have their wedding there, too."
At this point, not sure what to think. In a way, it wouldn't surprise me if they did get hitched. But I cannot believe Reese would do that so soon after a divorce following a 7 yr marriage. And on the bigger hand yet, no one can convince me that these 2 are "madly in love". The way they carry themselves seems only to indicate they are friends and shopping buddies. I just thought this article was entertaining and thought I'd throw it out there since nuptials were brought up! C'mon OMGers, don't let me down - let's hear it : o
Let me clarify one thing, tho. Not that Hollywood/music stars don't get hitched & divorced at the drop of a hat. Reese just does not strike me as one of those people who wants a lengthy marriage/divorce track record.
They buy a place, supposedly, in Ojai that is just made for entertaining, and a beautiful, natural, outdoor MV setting is available too. I just don't think they'd choose the Hotel Bel Air simply for power player reasons. What about romance? I'm sure its lovely, but what about something unique? I prefer sea breezes myself. This is what strikes me as the Faux-est of the Faux. ;)

Hi everybody:) i just came by to say i read an interesting article about Sam Harris today. Found it on "out in Hollywood", But you can read the whole interview if you visit "the advocate".
Sam talks about the process he and his partner, Danny, had to go through to become fathers.
Weird how some people see parenthood. For Sam and Danny, adoption would not not make their son any less "theirs". Though, when sombody told them they knew a couple that had adopted a child, and later got a real boy, they could not help asking if the first one was pinnochio.
A "real boy"...what did that woman or man think?

Thank you Destiny, this is the point I was trying to make way back last month.
I find it odd that all of those pap photos of Reese from today are extreme close-ups. Paps almost always include some shots that give you a sense of where the person is and, especially with women, their entire outfit. Kind of strange, I would think photos would have more value if you could see where the person is. These photos could have been taken anywhere in the world, no way of knowing if it is even London.
There are wider shots on Just Jared but they are still somewhat nondescript. It is all very interesting.
I hadn't seen the ones on JJ, they are different. But indeed still somewhat generic. In one of the pictures there is a cardboard display that says In Style, but it's kind of blurred out, which is odd, because nothing else in that picture is blurry.

I still am curious that these are the first pictures out. When they're in the states, there's ne'er hardly an opportunity missed to have a pap shot. Never seen the Sienna Miller store, have no reason to doubt. But she looks kind of alone there. Is he supposed to be in London for very long? I can't believe they couldn't be apart for a couple months. Maybe the lure of London? I guess I could understand that. But it's not like shooting films is an 8-5 job, M-F, or is it? I'm not getting bummed yet because something just doesn't mesh. And why aren't the kids with her if they are there? Questions, questions.
Why not plan a private affair like a wedding at a private location like Ojai or MV?

There are all sorts of reports that the Brokeback Mountain star Jake Gyllenhaal and actress Reese Witherspoon have moved into together and Us Weekly magazine claims in a cover story that they are on what they call a “path to the altar”.
Us Weekly cites an insider that they claim is a pal of Reese Witherspoon and the source says, “Reese says it’s an ongoing process figuring out what role Jake will play in the children’s lives.” There are two kids involved: Reese has Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4 from her former marriage to Ryan Phillippe.
No matter how you slice it, most celebrity observers are cheering for the couple. Reese Witherspoon is one of America’s sweethearts of Hollywood and many desperately want her to be happy. Time will tell if there is really a wedding upcoming, but certainly there will be much more speculation as the couple grows closer.

PR knows we exist and monitors us. How that impacts them, I can't say.
It shouldn't come as any surprise that PR monitors us. I would imagine they monitor all the blogs and celebrity websites. It's their job.
Somehow, I just don't see Reese discussing her oh so private wedding plans in public where anyone could overhear. Unless that's what she wanted, of course.
Of course the PR people know about this blog, as well as every dedicated Jake fansite, and Jake related post on major blogs. Only the most junior associates have to troll around the web but do you think the people in charge of carefully crafting a star's image would ignore the blogosphere. It's like free focus groups that they can actually manipulate.
The wedding story sounds planted but I doubt it's true. It could have been planted by the Hotel to drum up business.

If this blog is full of crap to people like Jake, his PR handlers and the rag-peddlers, then why I wonder do they care about it by monitoring it?? (I believe it). Why should they care what several deluded Jake fans think?

If you really watched blogs you would know that the opinions/comments here are not isolated. If this were a blog about Jake's shoes and they figured less than 100 people posted here on a regular basis and Jake's shoes were not discussed anywhere else they wouldn't give this site a second thought. But we all know that is not the case.
