wow. Great first pic of Jake in bed. Then Austin. Then I take it that is Austie boy's hiney. I wouldn't know since I have now not seen the last two episodes of OTH.
Hmmmm. Maybe that's why we haven't seen much of Austie boy lately. Because Mr. Rob is so hot. Heck, I wouldn't be gallavanting around either if I had him on my filming set.

And thank you, Reality. My point was and remains where have you been these past several weeks? That is my point. There have been a ton of days where there has been a lot of megabyte space here to voice what you think of anything, doesn't even have to be about Jake or Austin. There have been days where posters have been on here excited about how Austin has been on JustJared, great videos of him with his fans, and discussing the previous night's OTH episode. There was a time when posters were on here talking about how good Jake looked at the U.S. Open and were glad to see mentions of Atticus maybe being in Pittsburgh (although come to think of it, we still don't have any pictorial proof of that, do we?). I don't recall seeing your blogger name on here joining in the discussion. Those were quite appropriate times to see a different side of things and express your most positive views.
But I don't recall any such visit.

I've not seen Rendition, never intend to, but I'm almost tempted to see just the first several minutes because that's when Jake's in bed, right? Might almost be worth a Netflix rent just to see this, lol.

So I missed DWTS and OTH. Thank goodness for Youtube. We had such a nice time last night, though. We had a great roast from one of mom's walker friends and a big 9 x 23 of homemade macaroni & cheese that my camping friend made. Man, that was some good mac & cheese.And for dessert we had some homemade cinnamon roll thingy's that a friend of my mom's had just brought over. Real yeast rolls. Oh man, they were so good. We were all squished around the table and my back's killing me this morning from being on that card table chair so long but oh well. That's what it's all about, right? Alot of talking and memories and laughs.

Don't think it was all trollage yesterday like I said last night. It was mix of OMG and a couple outsiders. My thinking about why you don't see them pop the topic all the time is maybe because it isn't relevant to other discussions, but it might have been yesterday. I don't know all the answers just some thoughts.
I read a lot of opinions that I don't see eye to eye with here, but that's a part of what this is all about. Space for everyone to have a opinion and chance to say it.
Time to kill at Logan this morning waiting to make sure my Pops' plane took off before I left the airport. Perused the In Style. It's maybe 5 page spread with one page of copy. But you know what. The interviewer did not ask any questions about Jake. Reese was the one who brought it up. And what you/ve read is what it was. There was no header with Jake's name, it was a question about her cooking. I think Ms. W is proving she's the one driving the bus

I'm sure Reese's handlers told the interview that they couldn't ask any questions about Jake, that way she could control what was said. And by saying very little, it makes it harder to get caught in a lie about things you're making up. For example, if in one interview she makes up an answer about Jake, and then in the next one she says something completely different.
Doesn't mean Jake isn't on board with it and doesn't want everyone to think he's with her.
Again think it will be interesting to see what Jake's latest interviews are going to be like for Brothers in comparison to what Reese is currently doing in the press.
If "they" grow cucumbers, why did Jake on his Reeking trip buy a huge bag of them at the Farmer's Market? And wasn't he also looking at or buying tomatoes

You're not answering my question. No one ever answers my question everytime I ask it. They just "disappear" without answering it or else they come back like Just Saying did under a "different name". I don't care if it's relevant. Since when does anything people have to say on here be relevant? People get on here and talk about this, that & the other thing all the time.
The fact remains that these same comments come back word for word every time something happens and we express our opinion. Talk about being intimidated by other posters about what to say. That's exactly what happened to Destiny yesterday. And what Just Saying just did this morning.
I swear, if I ever find out that it's a semi-regular poster who repeatedly comes back speaking directly to some of us more regular posters and bashing on us, it won't be pretty.

i'm sick to death of reeke. not because of her, specifically - i would feel like this about any relationship he had that seemed to be killing him a little bit more, day by day. i don't give a crap who he's with, i just want him to be happy, and NOTHING i've seen in the last year has looked happy to me. you show me one happy pic, i can show you more in the same shoot or week that show him looking miserable. the paps were obviously having to work too hard to make him/them look real, so apparently now they've given up. or maybe j/r are just out of pocket and getting a break, but it's hard to believe someone isn't in their cities with a camera.
i truly think jake bought into some bad advice, hoping to maximize his bbm fame and shoo away the gay rumors that he/his handlers felt would cost him roles, but the whole thing has backfired on him and now he's stuck with a bag of bad goods. reese is probably in the same predicament. we bitch about her, but he hasn't done her any favors either. they are the 2 most boring celebs under 40 that i know of. i feel sad for both of them.
as i suspected, reese was beyond vague and noncommittal about jake. if you add all of her non-statements and their non-appearances up, to me it amounts to a non-relationship that is just happening on the extreme surface for show and tell. she can't even bring herself to lie about it. that should be a clue.

Well said, sienna. I don't think for the most part that people get on here and give alot of POV's that they don't feel. So what is said is a pretty good reflection of what the mood is out there for him.
I certainly don't feel sorry for Reese. That lady knows exactly what she's doing and she doesn't care who she stomps on, including Jake or her own family. That woman is as cold as ice - hence the name Ice Maiden. We here at OMG & WFT2 see her for what she is.
Boy, am I glad I have the day off. I'm really tired. We didn't get home until around 1 a.m. and had to get up a little early to go to the visitation. The visitation was so enjoyable shaking hands & hugging with so many friends, classmates & family relations of Dad's. It wasn't fun at all to see my mom hurting so. She lost her best friend and there isn't a whole lot I could ever do to try to help that but she knew she had alot of support from everyone and she was pretty strong through the whole thing.
Boy, I'm running out of steam fast. Everyone have sweet dreams and a good day at work tomorrow.

in RL i have a friend: her name is rhonda. she's my age, early forties, and she's been married for about 13 years to mark. they dated for several years before they married.
rhonda is my friend. she always has been and she always will be. mark is an ass of the highest order and i have nothing but dislike and disrespect for him as a person. however, he's her husband, and when she wants to gripe about him i have to put on my understanding face and listen and care and commiserate. when i get home, i tell my husband - who knows them both - what she said, and we both grumble because because she can not make herself leave him. she knows she's miserable, she knows he's a loser, and she has a good job and can do better. she's 43 years old, her kids are grown and he has no ties on her at all. they don't even freakin' live together anymore. but she CANNOT get a divorce.
i can still like her, and i can still hate the sickness that won't let her leave him, and i can want to hurl every time i see him.
as for j/r, i can still like j while i despise the f'd up relationship he's in that is draining him dry.
maybe the people at gb or wherever aren't that multifaceted, but i am. i care a lot about jake. i wouldn't like it if he was doing crack or if he was an alcoholic or a kleptomaniac. i don't have to like bearding either, because it's not helping him. it's hurting him and that makes me sad. the folks who are all "Yayay Reeke" obviously don't really care about him at all.

They showed him doing his nails on TV during a break. The announcers said the Yankee dugout looked more like a salon than a dugout.

My husband is a police officer and volunteered with security when she was in our town shooting part of Sweet Home Alabama. All the officers were thrilled to meet her...until they actually MET her. She was so rude to all of them and treated the officers who were VOLUNTEERING to help her, like trash. The ENTIRE DEPARTMENT decided to UN-VOLUNTEER. Every single officer told the production crew they would not be back because they were treated so poorly by her.

Just a quick comment tonight before I hit the hay. I have the feeling some of those defenders we have to deal with are very young. They take things very personally and are so black and white about things. That wears away with life experience. No point to that statement I guess, just an observation. See you all in the AM.
m... you may be right. i'm sure a lot of the defenders are you. i often get a sense of immaturity out of some of the more outrageous posts people make here. it's obvious they don't have much life experience yet.
however, i also know a few folks who are well older than me who are just as sensitive about him and his relationship with her. in a few chats i've had with them personally, quite a while back now, it almost seemed like was talking bad about their kid when i complained about the fauxmance. they had no buffer of separation. i have since learned my lesson and quit discussing it with them.
that's too bad that reese is such a monster to the little folks. i heard that about shania twain too when she came to memphis for some sort of function - maybe cheering - ten years ago or more. they said she was not nice to the girls she was working with at all.
to be fair, i'm sure being a celebrity is wearing. folks always wanting something from you, always asking for pictures and autographs, trying to get a leg up into your world on your back if at all possible, etc. however, it reminds me of that party j/r went to in january where all the celebs were walking in this little door, getting their pics made, smiling, saying hi to the paps etc. And then j/r do the wierd 'screech out at 90 miles an hour' stunt.

Sorry M, but your view of a lack or life experiences and taking things so personally seem to describe alot of your comments I've read over the months.
I post sometimes, but stay away most becasue I have lived some of the experiences that Jake is thought to be living, so I know it first handedly. That's why I don't agree with much that is being said anymore. I know this type of situation. I'm not a middle age woman who is immersed in a supposed male and male sex life or gay / bi lifestyle. Alot of what I read now does not make common sense. Still love Jake though and I will go see his movies WHENEVER the damn things are released.

I agree with some that he does not look as cheery and fun loving as in the past, but life and age does that to you. He's not 21 or 22 anymore. I also don't think Reese compliments him, but that his choice. As for Austin, he's doing the same as posters accuse Jake of. Exactly. Jake chose to be a public figure, and that means he has to put up with fans, people who love him no matter what he does, people who hate the homophobia, especially for an actor who got put on the edge of being a big star in part because of his gay fans, criticism about what he is doing, people who don't like his movies, etc.
And for better and worse, we live in a culture in which celebrities matter. A lot. I wish I had saved the link because I don't remember where I saw it or in what context, but it was someone gay talking about that point, and the need for openly gay celebrities. And in a world where Lady Gaga got the biggest reception by far at the rally after the Equality March in D.C., it matters.
And for most of us it's not about the not coming out. It's about the damage he does by engaginng in homophobic behavior. Every time he appears in a picture, a tabloid spread or lets Reese do magazine stories with headlines/taglines about him, he is reinforcing the idea that it is wrong to be gay.
And until he stops that homophobic behavior, I for one am not going to stop calling him on it.
