Susan G. Komen for the Cure is an organization supporting breast cancer research. Since its inception in 1982, Komen has raised over $1 billion for research, education and health services, making it the largest breast cancer charity in the US. It has more than 75,000 volunteers nationwide — 122 affiliates in the United States (47 of 50 states) and 3 in other countries.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure states that its aim is to "reduce the burden of breast cancer on a global level". Believing that no single approach to breast health will prove effective around the world, Komen works with local communities and organizations to develop programs for particular groups or cultures.
There are organization worldwide fighting to win the battle against breast cancer, all need help, support, volunteers, and voices.

I have to say that I almost feel bad that I am dreading Jake coming back to LA. If this had been 1 1/2yrs ago, I would have been excited knowing that Jake would be back home and we would get more pics of him. Now, the thought of Jake being back home doesn't do that. You know when he gets back, all we'll get are tons of pap pics of Reeke drinking coffe/shopping/exercising/walking with the kids pics. No Jake by himself pics or Jake with other people pics. Maybe Jake should find a reason to stay in London longer that way he would at least be more interesting.

Yeah ITA bad feeling. Same old same old. But these last pics were different. Separate cars, not together. Left around the same time but not together. I'm sure the babblers say its because they're in love and don't want to be papped together (LOL) but why? They're both single why should they hide anything? So that lame excuse is a laugh. What I'm trying to say is these last pics were a lot different along with the last few sets that show on Jake's part lots of distance, other people with them, no touching (unless you want to count holding a shopping bag between them) and no friendly affection whatsoever. Jake might be getting tired and bored of "supporting" Reese.
Jake will pay a high personal cost for pushing his relationship with Reese at the expense of Austin and his own child. I suspect he thinks he can get away with it because we never see him with anyone else in his family anymore either, and that somehow it will all be okay for Baby Tile because he's not seen with his mom, Maggie, etc. If that's what is going on, then he is seriously deluding himself.
It's also too late. Jake regularly talked about his parents and Maggie, and how important his family is to him. There are probably thousands of pictures of him with his parents, sister and Peter, and pictures with Ramona as well.
And during promotion for Zodiac, which was not that long after Ramona was born, Jake couldn't stop talking about her,and brought her up in practically every interview he did. It was clear that he was bringing this up on his own. He was so proud of being an uncle that he wanted everyone to know how he felt about her, and he even wore a t-shirt with her name on it when he hosted SNL for all the world to see.
And now he won't even admit to having his own child. You can be sure he won't be talking about how wonderful it is to be a father during his next movie promotion work, nor do I think he'll be wearing Baby Tile's name on a t-shirt anytime soon.
There is only one message Baby Tile is going to get from all this: there must be something wrong with me because dad never talked about me the way he did my cousin, there must be something wrong with me because I have two daddies instead of a mom and dad, and dad must have been ashamed of me because he wouldn't even tell people I exist.
What I was I trying to make was where his home is where his heart is, and that was with Austin.
Maybe Jake will stay on the East Coast for a bit since Austin is still filming OTH. (Spooky just updated today that Austin was seen filming yesterday. Check it out Austin Nichols Journal. I just read something yesterday in the NY Post that peaked my interesting and maybe it will delay Jake a few days in London.
Seems Fincher is a more than a bit "overbearing" and loud with the staff that are helping to get some Oscar Noms for Benjamin Buttons. But what really caught my eye, Fincher is in London. Could he and Jake have a little sit down to, throw all that mutual admiration and a few drinks back and talk about Torso, after Jake finished filming?
When has Jake had a chance to talk about Baby T?
He hasn't done an interview except for the sneak of PoP since Rendition PR. And if you go back and listen to some of those interviews, he drops in references to being good parents, and parenting.
He has not done any press so you really can't say he is not talking about Baby T.
Then again - you can say the same thing about Austin - he has done interviews and he hasn't said anything about his child either.

I have to say that I’m pretty amused by posters who obviously disagree with us, who come here to belittle us by acting as though they care about J&A, BT, Ted, etc., and yet spend quite a bit of time and energy writing long-winded posts. Who has that kind of time to waste? Does anyone bother reading their posts? I read a couple in the past. Now I just skip right by them. I, for one, don’t have that much time to waste reading the same old same old over and over again.
As for Jake and the cement – don’t think it has anything to do with inside info about an imminent marriage. It’s just Ted’s way of saying that just about nothing is going to be able to pry Jake out of the closet at this point.
It would be wonderful if Jake was to spend some time in NYC with his family. But, I seriously doubt that will ever happen. I have never believed the whole Reeke is public Jake and then Jake has his own private life that is seperate. I think that what you see is what you get. He hasn't spent any time with his sister and his neice. That's a fact-there are pics of Maggie in NYC while Jake's somewhere else. To me it looks like he's distanced himself from his family and friends because of Reeke. Yeah, a pap pic is 15mins of his day, but if he's in LA and his family is photographed elsewhere all the time then you can fight that. It's to bad because one of the reasons I loved Jake so much was because he was so family oriented.

While I have no arguments over who can play what role artistically, I have a big problem as a gay man with Hollywood refusing to cast openly gay men in films such as Milk for leading roles. Harvey Milk was all about visibility in real life. Therefore, once my company begins filming, gay men will be playing gay roles. This was where Prop 8 failed. We counted on other people to "represent" us instead of ourselves. So simple, yet nobody, gay or straight, in Hollywood, wants to get it. By the way, you "represent" like hell, baby!

But what openly gay leading men are out there and available to be cast? It's slim pickings if you're trying to make a big-budget flick. I actually have no problem with Sean Penn playing Milk, he did a bang-up job I think Milk himself would have loved. It's the rest of the cast that should have been filled to the brim with out, or at least quasi-out, men and women. Neil Patrick Harris would have been great, for starters.
Best Boyfriend: Loves to shop. Can go into lingerie dressing room and not cause a scene. Doesn't look at other women. Only wants to hold hands and sometimes gives quick (tongueless) kisses as greeting. Is adoring and attentive but not sexually demanding in return. Will play flirtatious but not take it seriously. Dresses well, is extremely clean and neat and stays in shape. Works out all the time. Loves to cook and hosts dinner parties at home with his buddies. Gay, perfect boyfriend.
You only see the public private life, don't think for one minute he doesn't have a private life that doesn't include his family, friends and Austin.
Not everyone agrees on this point, but Reese makes a good smokescreen for the real private life he does have. He can have a private life out of the eye of the camera.

Pigs will fly before that happens. Could you imagine, after spending over 4 months away, when Jake is done he goes to NYC instead of directly to LA and Reese? Besides that Reese woulnd't allow it, neither would their PR team. What would the rag mags say? Jake wasn't rushing to wonderful Reese's side after being away from her and her kids for so long? That he's loosing sleep because he can't wait to see her? Never, ever happen. We'll be seeing Mr. Witherspoon trailing behind the magnificent Reese for the next couple of years unfortunately.

I thought this blog was for free and open discussion as long as it's civil. I believe Jake is Gay or bi and maybe bearding with Reese, maybe Not! But I do not believe in BabyTile... It makes no sense to me. So on this subject most of the time I do not post about it. I need more convincing. And, I just don't think Jake would do that, Austin either!
Wow, I missed out on all the good talk this morning. Once again, I can't hang around. Can't even think straight right now so what I say may be incoherent, lol.
I just want to say that I don't have any problem with Jake staying in the closet - respect it totally. But hate the bearding! And especially when there's a partner/boyfriend and a baby involved. That's way too much for me to understand.
I hope to Pete that he goes to NY for a time. I can't imagine him going through Hannukah/Christmas without seeing his family. Especially his niece! I don't know if Peter S. has any siblings, but on her mom's, side, all she has is one uncle and that's Mr. Jake. Good gosh, by the time she's selling wrapping paper for the schools and cookies for the Girl Scouts, I hope Jake is somewhere around to give her a few bucks.
If Jake knew of his parents' financial woes, yes, I can understand his wanting such a big money role as PoP. By the looks of those pictures, he's as beautiful looking as ever, too. I hope it's a good movie.

And finally, I agree with 18 months of boring in that the last set of pics were kind of strange. I know he could've gone to Gwyneth's party straight from work, explaining not arriving arm in arm with ol' Wind-erspoon. But all those pictures of Reese? And not one of them together? After their constant photo assault every other time? It was a different set of pictures.

Correct - but problem is the hiding of the baby. If Jake (and Austin) are living a kind of double life they won´t be able to do this for a long time- it is not possible today with the cell phones, fan reports, bloggers etc. I don´t believe it until I have further confirmation than just the word of a gossip blogger. And lets face it - there were no other reports on any blog, gossip side or whatever.
Since nobody has seen "Brothers" and "Nailed" so far, I would not make any assumptions - the financial problem are not Jakes fault nor is the delay of "Brothers". And I am sure that PoP will be huge- another reason we will be seeing much more of Reese and her boyfriend......or does anyone seriously believe Jake will be coming out during the promotion of this film (not to speak of possible sequels)?

Jake has not talked about Ramona in every interview he has done after she was born. (Neither have Maggie and Peter, btw)
He has mentioned her in the beginning but when Maggie and Peter started to put more work into keeping her out of the spotlight, Jake pretty much stopped.
He has talked a lot about parenting though, sometimes even when it didn't fit into the conversation at all.
Maggie also has said in past interviews that she together with Peter and Ramona had stayed at Jakes place in LA for a few weeks and we never saw pictures of them with Jake back then, so they clearly still spend time together even if it isn't caught on photos.
And when exactly was the last time we saw pics of Jake anywhere near the places he lives? Or even sightings of him there?
For the few times that he has been photographed alone in the last year it has always been in very public places where you would have to expect the paps to be.
So I don't see how we can just assume he never goes out with Austin or Baby Tile just because we haven't seen pics of it.
And there have actually been sightings in the past year of him and a guy out together and even one of him on Christmas with several others including a baby.
I also don't really get the idea that putting your kid into the spotlight in HW is a good idea. Most people don't get to decide about it because they can't really hide being pregnant or having a pregnant gf/wife, but Jake and Austin do have that chance.
I hate Reeke as much as the next one and wish it would be over already, but I still highly doubt Baby Tile will be damaged for life because the general public hasn't heard his/her dads talk about him/her or hasn't seen pics of him/her yet.
IMO it is not clear if some of the recent new posters are just expressing a different viewpoint, or whether they have some other intention in posting. Either way, I think some of them have some valid points.
I seriously doubt Jake will mention Baby Tile as long as he's doing PoP. The thing about Jake is that, at least until recently, family has been a huge part of his image. To now seemingly change that--e.g., the lack of photos with his family--and so abruptly and so thorought because of BT is just wrong, especially with the bearding.
As for Austin, I do seem to recall Austin mentioning being an Uncle in one of the interviews he did for JFC, but most of his interviews have been short and focused on his work and sometimes his interests, but not his family. The last two were all about work, as they should have been given the context. Austin has gone for a completely different image, one that is not, so while his not talking about a father wouldn't be right either, the the effect would be different.
I agree that putting your kids in the spotlight is not right, and I think Reese, among many others, is wrong for doing that. But actively hiding a child is wrong too.
Maggie talked a lot about Ramona during her promotion for Batman. We regularly get pictures of her with Ramona, including, most infamously, the ones of them with Naomi in Paris while Reeke were on their NYC Avon spree which were probably done to prove they were not in NYC at the same tim. Peter talked about being a father in an interview he did recently for The Seagull. Both of them have talked a lot about how much work it is, and how much of their lives now revolve around being a parent.
Even Jodie Foster, who is notorious for keeping her life private, still talks about her kids in many of her interviews and is photographed with them on occassion.
A good example of striking a balance is Madonna, one of the most papped stars in the world. Her kids are occassionally photographed when they are out doing things together, and she talks about them, but she hasn't used them to promote her career and has mostly kept them out of the spotlight.
Wow, that would be great if we got a gay cabinet member. Keeping my fingers crossed on that one.

About "hiding" baby tile. Maybe its not so much hiding it as having it in an out of the way place like Texas on a ranch, Missouri, Marthas Vineyard, upperstate NY, or suburb LA/The OC, private rural area farther inland Calif like Ojai (for an example). And if a nanny lives with the baby and takes it places whos to know who the fathers are? maybe not even a nanny, what about Austin's sister or Chris's sister, Jake's cousins, a close friend we don't know about? Theres a fine line between actively hiding and maintaining privacy, its just a matter of time before we find out which one it is. Btw god forbid but theres also possibility the baby is not healthy and thats why it hasn't been publicized. Stuff like that is a sensitive issue.
I would agree that keeping a child secret from everybody in your life, your friends, your family would be damaging to it.
But I highly doubt they're doing that. And I stand by my opinion that they do take Baby Tile out with them.

Maggie was doing promotion while being pregnant, so it was a given that she would be asked about it.
If it hadn't been unavoidable that people would know by seeing Maggie pregnant I don't think they would have been talking about Ramona until it somehow came out. They seemed reluctant to even put out an announcement of the birth and only did so when Stephen and Cantara blew the whole thing.
And like Special said, Jake hasn't even done any interviews - except that short PoP one - since Baby Tile was supposed to have been born. So, while I doubt he will ever bring it up without being prompted, him not talking about being a father during that interview - being closeted or not - isn't really surprising.
Jodie Foster herself has talked about being single when she talked about her kids in interviews, so if you believe denying your relationship to the general public is bad for your kids, I don't see how she's the best example either.
I don't fault her for that any more than I fault Jake and Austin for keeping Baby Tile out of the spotlight and I think that Jodies kids are probably happy and well taken care-of.
But if you believe that what Jake and Austin are doing is harmful to an infant, then you also have to acknowledge that it could be harmful for Jodies school-aged children.
Besides Jake himself growing up in HW - and with not a lot of exposure, people in HW might have known him & Maggie, but they weren't know to the masses, I think godmother Jamie Lee could be a real asset for Jake and Austin in terms of dealing with baby T and HW.
Come on she was the daughter of one of the most famous Hollywood couples Janet Leigh & Tony Curtis. And then she raised her own kids in HW. That's got have a lot of insight. You did see her kids occasionally but she didn't overexpose her kids either.
There are alot of big names in HW, who raise their kids not in the dark, but definitely away from the spotlight.
I'm not saying Jodie Foster is the best role model. My point was that even though she's closeted and won't talk about her girlfriend, she does talk about her kids. And she has never bearded. I'd be thrilled if Jake had pulled a Jodie, but he didn't.
Regarding Maggie and interviews, we all know stars have the power to put certain questions off limits, so if she didn't want to talk about her kids, she would have made it a condition to her interviews. And the one with Peter, which was in the NYT, the reporter visited Peter at their home in Brooklyn, and he was cooking meatballs for the family while they talked, and Peter brought up being a parent first, while thanking the reporter for coming out to Brooklyn because of how much time being a father took up.
Could be when Reeke were in Wine Country Reese wasn't the only one looking for another house. Would be easy enough for Jake to look at homes with Reese, find an out of the way house he likes, maybe a ranch, (another reason for needing PoP money) have attorney set up a trust and buy a house/land/ranch without his name attached and no one the wiser. An hours drive north of LA, easy enough. All the PR even a magazine cover was about Reese buying an Ojai home. Whos to say Jake didn't?

Wow lots of comments today. I guess in anticipation of Jake coming back. Whatever he does publicly will be driven by his ambition. He is a employee of Disney and he has gotten the big check I am sure he wanted. Disney will decide what he does publicly. It is very possible that Jake can have a personal life out of view of the cameras. He has already proven that. I wonder if he has gotten used to being away from LA and his own familys personal problems. His first move will be interesting. My bet is the first we see him will be with reese. But we will not know when he leaves London and when he actually arrives in LA. I think he has spent time with Austin his last week in London so I would not be surprised if he heads back to LA quickly for some photo ops.
I am now at 50/50 on the marriage rumors we have heard. I am fearful that he will be willing to take the charade that far. If anything it will be interesting. Ted says he has given up. NAH don't think so.

sometimes I still cannot believe it ... sorry when I see it I'll believe it, but I am not jumping on the bandwagon, there is no reason, especially no reason for Jake and Austin to get themselves into such troubles. The other things you mention for comparison were NOT gossip turned reality. The baby tile thing sound stupid, to me at least, and as I said before, I don't take Ted words for gold.

The Awful Truth must have some sort of time delay on it as I can't see the latest blurb. That's happened before. Set to show up PST, I guess. I like how Ted calls Jake an unbeddable bachelor. Another veiled confirmation that Jake is Toothy. I just wish Jake had as much courage as Ted seems to have.
Re the earlier comments. It's very clear that jake is adept at keeping his real life secret and unseen by the public. Remember the mysterious ankle injury. Incurred with unseen friends. The fire in No CA. Someone was with him in that cabin but who it was never leaked out.

Like Thanksgiving holidays. I got all his Mon/Tues posts on the Wednesday before. They were dated for Mon/Tues. I thought its how he does it, posts with dates a day or 2 ahead like how magazines have their January issues out now, what am I talking about, their February issues. I thought its strange but I'm not going to complain to Ted about getting it early. Shit i hope none of them read this and fix the mistake. LOL
Was TT supposed to come out when Milk was released? I didn't hear that.

I don't live in L.A., so I just stumbled on this Toothy Tile thing today. Way too much fun. Based on your clues, and the timing of this actor allegedly wanting to come out around the same time Milk is being released, I'm guessing it's Emile Hirsch. Not sure if you'll confirm or deny w/o a D.T.-type garage meeting. Keep up the good work and take care.

Why is it such a big deal that Angelina Jolie knows her way around press manipulation? Don't they all in Hollywood? Or at least they try. I just think Angie is the best at the game. Jen tries, she's selling "girl next door." Stephen Huvane, write down some pointers. Tom tries, he's selling Suri. Toothy tries, he's selling straight. Hollywood is really quite transparent. Not as many smoke and mirrors as most would like.
