I have been thinking about Jeese and I really do think that Reese was the perfect girl for Jake to hook up with. The last thing she is probably looking for right now is a romantic relationship.

If you saw the show he had to make a choice between the gay guys in the band and the girls in the audience. He choose the girls but added in the words "At this point in my career".
I don't really know how to read it cos he was lying either way - either he wasn't single (Reese) or he is gay/bi. So I'm not sure how much we can trust anything he says as he's covering something up. Not Jake-bashing here - plenty of people to do that, just trying to reconcile Toothy's actions and Jake's actions recently.

Not sure I consider that article in E! to be official that Jake is in Nailed. There were tons of articles about the Lance biopic, Joe Nameth biopic and the Broadway play. Until he actually signs on then it is still a rumor, imo.

Nailed's story might sound crazy, but it's a comedy after, and david o. russell made "i love huckabees" and "spanking the monkey", they are both crazy comedies (spanking the monkey is actually rather controversial as well), but he managed to pull them off. I am not very sure about Jessical Biel though :)

The door is open and you can keep it open. The man you love but DON'T know, obviously, is gay friendly but not gay. And it's not like he can or will change his orientation to please Ted Casablanca or his fans. I use to be a TB but no more, I think it is time to open your eyes. Things make no sense because you want them to make no sense to keep your hopes.
Having said that, I can understand being in denial over Jeese since she definitely is a total mismatch for such a hunk.

I liked Spanking the Monkey, but I thought I Heart Huckabees didn't work. But I do think he is a director that tries to take risks and do different things rather than repeating himself. He is also a very difficult director to work with from all the stories out there, so if Jake is really doing this he must really like the story.
For me, the reason I believe Jeese is fake is because they both look so uncomfortable with each other. You can explain away the lack of pics and then the avalanche of pics by saying that they wanted to keep the relationship private and only be open with it after Rendition premiered. But it is not so easy to explain the extreme lack of chemistry and the high level of awkwardness between this couple.
Anyone who wants to believe Jeese, go ahead. There are plenty of other blogs out there for you.

I still think tearing Jake and Reese down or being indignant on Jake and Austin's behalf is shortsighted. There's a third player in all this and that's Austin, and I don't believe he's some unwitting, tossed out victim if he's still Jake's real SO. True SOs make significant life decisions together so I think Reese is acting more as a friend to them than competition by helping them out.

Guisi-poo, that photo is the only one that I feel has a remotely real chemistry to it. I like to put my hand in my guy's pocket or hang on a belt loop when I snuggle next to him when he puts his arm around me, and the tender kiss Jake gives her. The rest of the pics, especially the ones after Rome, I don't see much in.
We know from what we have seen, heard and read about Jake, that he is a sensual and full-of-life man. He loves eating and cooking, he's comfortable with his body, and he's exuberant and demonstrative when expressing himself with family, friends and Atticus! He's passionate. You'd think that if he were in love, he'd be all over her like white on rice, especially in a romantic city like Rome. I see some reticence. It could be that he's adapting to a new partner, or concerns about privacy, but I just see more feeling in the pics with Kirsten, and Austin.

2:22, we all do what we can. His appearing at a GLAAD event, or an HRC event, regardless of his personal situation, would show support, and is a good thing. One step at a time - just as with ENDA - it might not have passed in it's entirety, but it is still a step forward. You don't know what Jake's personal situation is.

About the new pics, not only it is x17online again but 'Madeo' is a high profile restaurant that always has paparazzi around. It is obvious they wanted to be photographed.

I've been to Madeo. They are sitting in the front room by the door which is very small, just a few tables and defintely not the prime space. There is a much larger, cozier room in back, kind of old-world romantic. But guess what, it doesn't have windows. They sat where they could be photographed,

Talking about the dubious ways of celebrities, I just heard this morning about an upcoming(?) book on Hollywood by investigative journalist Ian Halperin. Apparently he used a really good LA publicist who helped him impersonate a member of some rich Israeli family so he could be able to study the fauna real close and "in vivo".
I don't know if this guy is reliable but his book will probably be quite an interesting read. Is it already out in the States? Please if you know his work I'd like to know if he's the real deal or just another famewhore.
I amazed that that is some top notch LA restaurant, it looks abit grim to me.
Also you'd think that Jake would make some sort of effort, I know the LA is meant to be casual, but you'd hope he would at least make some sort of effort.

This afternoon when I was in a magazine store, I glanced through OK Magazine and there I saw a candid shot (meaning no way was she prepared when the photographer caught her) of Reese checking out OK and the other celeb mags. This was dated October 25--nearly a week after the Roman PDA adventure.
OT: The Broadway stagehands are on strike and while passing the theater where Spring Awakening is playing, not only did I see those on strike picketing (as well as the cast and director), I saw former Disney head of film productions and producer Joe Roth standing outside the theater. He was the guy who was sitting on the other side of Jake a year ago when Jake and Austin went to that Lakers game.

Just compared the pics. In the flynet pics Reese's hair is up in a bun, Jake has a black t shirt on. In the dinner pics her hair is down and he has a gray tshirt on so they were not taken around the same time. He does not seem to think she warrants anymore than a tshirt though. PR, if you are reading this, tell him to dress up a bit more. Like he cares how he looks.
What's wrong with looking natural? Most people look that way when they're not working. It would look more suspicious if they were perfectly coiffed 24/7. Jake and Austin were often au naturale and nobody complained.

But it looks like the sun was still out so it was in the afternoon, probably early. flynet said they were leaving Jake's house to go to Reese's. But who knows, really. They coulda had an appointment somewhere, like meeting with someone to discuss a project.
I don't doubt that they are friends, maybe even partners in a business capacity. But lovers? Naw. OT: Rendition did not do well, but Lions for Lambs is apparently much worse. Critics are giving it a C and people a D on Yahoo movies. At least Rendition fared pretty good with the people who went to see it. Poor Meryl.
Here's a question. Why are we wasting so much time talking about Jake and Reese when we admonish other people who post here that there are far worthier blogs for them to post about...Jake and Reese?
Can nobody see the odd in that? Or maybe the hypocrisy? No?

Yes, "happy enough" For the story they want to portray to the general public ( who really don't give 2 shits) "at this point" in his (Jake's) career. Notice he did'nt say "in his life" in that JR interview. To me this would have connotations that something BIG had changed his life. But I believe it's all about career moves,and bearding, but at what price? Yes dear, they will always appear " happy enough" for the cameras at "public occassions" when they know it's more than likely they will be papped, but this is all in the game don't you know. In most pictures of Jeese, I see fear, lonliness, dread and desperation. Reese wants to keep that star hanging on her dressing room door, and Jake wants to go to work one day and find one hanging on his . That's HW. So on with the show....mance.Besides, I hear Jake likes Kanye West and rap . Does Reese? Really now , what DO they have in common as so-called lovers? Pack em away boy, or run away. Hollywood pictures of "happy enough" stars don't mean a damn thing. They smile for the cameras and go home to cry in their pillows. Who's kiddin who?Everything about this man says gay, everyone I know ( including gay friends) who knows who he is, feels he's gay and many in these blogs can feel it too. What truly straight man woud be "comfortable" saying the things Jake said when BBM came out during that film promotion+ the telling comments he said while accepting the " Best Kiss " trophy at the MTV awards that year. NOT!... BBM was just a film , a very powerful one. I think Jake saw alot of himself in Jack Twist. Now, more than ever, Come clean dear boy, come clean. Jeesing is not the remedy..Quit the "frontin" and be true to yourself.I feel he wants to come out, but he knows HW. Again, he seems "happy enough" for the general public, but deep inside is he? judging from most of the pics,I think not.Something's very wrong with him.
