Thanksgiving, here in the U.S. is today. Our neighbors to the north celebrated and gave thanks for a successful harvest the second Monday in October, but the U.S.? We wait to party about Pilgrims till the third Thursday in November.
Some will cook, some will go to family and friends, and some will go out to eat. And Jake? Who knows, hard to predict.
But the real question is would he rather spend it with a Pilgrim, or get some fill of some Wild Turkey?
Even if it not officially celebrated where you are, in every day there is something you can find to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I have many things to be thankful for this year. Quite a few of them relate to this fandom. I am grateful for the friends I have made here, especially the ones I've actually met in person- Tom, Spesh, Destiny, and NETB. I am also grateful for the computer knowledge I have gained through doing this blog. I have learned tons! I'm so happy that people care enough about this community to give such thoughtful feedback when I asked my question about Anons.
And here is another thing to be grateful for. Looks like Austy will be back on FNL! Yay!
Oh, and one more thing, Jake proposed to Reese in Rome over a month ago and we're just hearing about it now? Why do I doubt this?

The article about Jake proposing is hilarious. Ya think two-three days after finalising a divorce is too soon to propose? And how romantic of Jake to organise the proposal with their entourage around. They make him sound like a total knucklehead.

Wow what a year and so much to thankful for. Yes thankful for the chance to meet such great friends and make new ones here on OMG. And for the chance to make a place with Wicked for a community to grow from a little place like this. And big thanks to Wicked for all her player expertise because there would be no music if I had to deal with all the player issues we have had.
And big slice of pumpkin pie to Ted for not letting it go. Honey, it's the least in calories and you can hit the gym tomorrow. Enjoy!

I have to ask why so many like Ted making fun of Jake? What does that acomplish? Certainly isn't making Jake "come out of the closet" faster. Whatever you believe about Jake and Austin I don't think hounding anyone is making things better. But you all laugh it up when you have no idea how it might affect Jake, Austin, their families, etc.
I am thankful that Jake did BBM, I am thankful that he has been gay supportive, did drag, went on stage with Rufus. Despite all the mocking and nastiness he went on he has seemed to just live his life. I am very thankful for Jake and Austin.

Seems like Ted went way out of his way to bring up Austin. Not like he is in any mainstream movies or TV shows right now, unless you count his role in FNL. I take this as Ted's way of letting us know he is still very much in the picture. So thank you Ted, too. I can't bear the thought that J & A are not together.
Or maybe Ted is hinting at a future BI involving Toothy's bf? His neglected bf in my opinion.

I'm in the US but no turkey day for me until Sunday. There's members of the medical profession in my fam, so instead of someone running out in the middle of dinner cuz they're on call, we always have to do holidays on other days. I'm used to it, but still it makes for a boring real TG day. :( I think I'll watch a movie (TDAT?) or maybe I can come over to all your houses for turkey and stuffing and dessert. :)

I agree with Frenchy's post about deleting anons and trolls. At this point the troll posts are so recognizable that I don't even read past the first sentence. It's all the same regurgitated BS. I used to be tempted to respond, but now I don't even care.

So, their sources are chatty neighbors now? Wonder if the info was obtained voluntarily, as in they called up the Chicago Sun Times to blab about Reese, or the gossip columnist called for a comment and they just couldn't hold their tongue about about their neighbor.

Wasn't it the Sun Times that reported Reeke would be heading to Hawaii for Thanksgiving? Wonder it their travel agent whispered about that one.
It is odd to put out a report of Reese declining Jake's marriage proposal along with a report of her accepting a ring from him.
Why won't Perez Hilton out Jake? He did it to NPH and Lance. Jake is the only closeted young actor in HW. What makes him so special? How about following the careers of out actors and actresses?
Whats funny too about the proposal is where it supposedly happened. Rome, on the Rendition junket, the trip paid for by the studio's Rendition promo budget, basically a business trip. And then the Napa trip, what was it, maybe 2 days tops, flown on a commerical flight? These "romantic trips" Reeke goes on make Jake sound really cheap, lol.
The ring isnt a bad idea, she can wear the ring around her neck for months (and have it "accidentally" show) and it will give the Reeke story more mileage without actually having to be seen together. One little ring can solve a lot of logistics when you think about it.
I think we've got to stop helping pr :-). I just re-read Ted, I think the reference to "real have it both ways" is a refrence to having a career and being out/having a real life, unlike Austin (and Jake).
This little collage is a nice reminder of the physical effect Jake and Austin have on one another just by being together - gorgeous, glowing and rather sated-looking.
