Goofy, silly, giggly, grinning, a laugh is never far away.
Jake loves to laugh, and make everyone around him laugh as well. Always up for a joke, even if he is the butt of it, he finds humor in everything.
Growing up, you imagine him going for the laugh - getting out of trouble with it, getting attention, or when he didn't know what else to do - make 'em laugh.
As they say "he got bones" (natural born comedian). You're either funny or you're not. Everyone thinks they are funny, but not everyone is. Kind of like, being attractive, everyone thinks they're good looking but not everyone is. Somehow Jake's got both of those in spades.

I need a good laugh lately. Jake as Lord of the Dance? I gotta see that. ;) He is a natural comedian; and with those good looks he's quite a combination.

"Does anyone think Ted & Toothy/Jake are hand in glove? not at the begining but after Crisp Lisp? I don't think Jake is the sweet, charming young guy some people think he is..I just feel the image is coming apart at the seams. Wouldn't be surprised if it came out that he is no better than any other young HW actor.
Just had to respond to this on the last thread. I never thought Jake was in cahoots with Ted - why would anybody want the details of their hidden private life advertised? No way.
Also that image of Jake as sweet, guileless young guy. It was so one-dimensional it couldn't have been true. I don't even know anybody like that in RL, let alone someone who could make it in dog-eat-dog HW.
Until I start hearing stories of diva-ish behaviour on-set with the crew I'll think that Jake is a basically decent guy. (Arguments with directors don't count - everyone fights with them). Not an asshole, not a saint. That's my view.
Far be it from me to comment on any Reeke photos, but the shots of Jake in the orange jacket looks like he and Reese had just finished a workout (she's wearing gym clothes as well as he). Looks like they got coffee after the exercise.

I agree, loved Jake's Lord of the Dance clips. Papelbon is tough to beat, though. You never know, Jake might be just as good as Jonathan Paplebon, we'd have to see him dancing an Irish jig to "Shippin' off ta Boston" by the Dropkick Murphys, to be fair! That song would inspire anyone. ;)
I put off seeing Bubble Boy for the longest time because of its bad reviews, but it really is funny Max. Another case of puzzling reviews, just like with DD and Rendition.

Is anyone else not looking forward to the Holidays with the Gyllenhaals this year? I am sure there will be plenty of festive family photos. I wonder if Jeese will be together at the lodge this year for NYs eve. Hopefully it has been rebuilt. We never did find out who the friend that spent NYs with Jake was last year.

I took some heat for some of the comments I made last week on WFT about jake and his relationship with the gay community post heterosexual Jake. Does anyone think we will see Jake dressed in drag again? Does anyone feel we will see Jake on stage with Rufus again? Does anyone feel we will see Jake at gay events such as GLAAD again. To see where he goes with this is actually more important to me than jeese.

To me there is no reason to assume that Jake will become gay-unfriendly. He has always been a friend to the gay community in the past and I would think that would continue. If he starts to seem to be avoiding things that might have a gay association, then I would worry. Remember, he just recently went to Rufus' Judy concert.

I think this high profile bearding will be long term and it has to do with rising Jake’s profile as a commercial leading actor and particularly linked to landing the main role in the moon project.
I know I'm a bit late but only just had a look at Jake and Reese "breakfast" shots at x17. Looks like they're coming from the gym really rather than just rolled out of bed. And even including the linking arms pic shot from behind I've seen more hot action between cousins!
They'll have to do a bit better to sell Jeese to me. ;-)

max, I don't even see any linking arm. Reese is walking a step behind Jake in that pic and looks like she still has her hands in her pockets, while he must still be holding his cup of coffee like he did one second before... it is just the angle of the pic.

Think about it. What are Reeses' kids doing? She's a mom she has to get them ready for school. And from what we know about Reese she is a hands on kind of mom, I don't think she's the kind to leave the kids in bed to go out the morning after with the new bf for breakfast. Even if the nanny were there. I think it was run down get the shots and the day's obligatory Jeese work is done. Then they could back to their real schedules.

If you look at the time the pictures were filed it was 7:16 AM Pacific time. So you could conclude that they paps were out and downloading them to the agency no later than 7 AM.

xonline posted the pics 7:16am on 11/7, but that doesn't mean they were even taken that day. Look at the 11/2 Staple pics posted on that site, they were actually posted a few day later. Those breakfast pics most likely were taken the day beforeT uesday maybe and most likely it wasn't that early either. I doubt that they were up that early for set up pics.
The kids were probably off to school/daycare already.
? Here, actually I think the Staples pics were posted the next day. Anyway I doubt they ran and posted them so quickly, I still say it was the day before and it wasn't that early in the morning.

To be honest, I cannot quite picture Jake and Reese setting up the alarm clock to meet for a bearding session with X17 paps.
And yet a supposedly oh so private couple who "hides" from the paparazzi, going out in the morning to get breakfast together instead of just eating at one of their places makes so much more sense?
I mean if you believe they really are and were dating then the food at their homes must have been good enough for the better part of this year, right?

I do think those questions go to the heart of how Jake is representing himself to the press right now (and to his fans). I wish I could answer an unqualified yes. Instead I can only say, I hope so.
I do think you have the right perspective in seeing the bigger picture of ENDA, and the relationship of media figures to the GLBT community, as more important than Jeese. I just totally agree with that.
I never said they always have to stay home. As a matter of fact them going out together and getting it wrong just about every time, making it more and more obvious that they're fake, doesn't bother me.
Although I have to say that for Jakes sake, I hope it stops soon, because he is obviously not happy with it.
All I'm saying is that you can't say that they don't want anyone to take photos of them together and then say that it's fine for them to go show off in front of the paparazzi.
And don't say they don't do it. They saw the paparazzi in Rome, they knew there would be photos if they went to Kate Hudsons Halloween party, because she is a celebrity and there was no reason for them not to go trick-and-treating in Reeses gated community. Unless of course they wanted to make sure there would be photos of them together with the kids.
And this is the same, if they really wanted the privacy they could have just stayed home.
So if you believe they're a couple, then you also have to accept that they're using their relationship to get publicity.
Now which is better? Believing that they're a showmance or that they are pimping their relationship for their own gain?

We can try to explain it whatever way and no one might be right.
I have two children in the same age as Reese's kids are and I'm sure it would be difficult to find time in the early morning for having breakfast with BF outside if I were single mother ( assuming kids are with her and she is the one dropping them to school).
Or Maybe they had dropped children to their schools together and then grabbed coffee.
Late morning in the gym with Bf after hectic part looks like strange day schedule for working single mom unless she doesn't have anything else to do or it is part of her job.
Home sweet home so to speak... I almost had a heart attack when the Three Stooges Theme boomed out from the speakers which were on full blast! :D
