Austin has taken a short stay character like Julian and turned him into something more. He;s grabbed the audience and made them his just like he did with the part. In a early interview he mentioned about this job being different, because there was no room for improvising and that he had to stay on script. But even with the not most sophisticated storyline or line, he took what he had and created a character that now has the old fans talking and new fans coming to OTH. It really shows how far he's grown as an actor. A great actor can always make his part better through his acting.
And seriously the boy has charm. He's the perfect boyfriend with the sweetest kisses. You can hear the Ahhhhhhsss that everyone will be saying when they see this on Monday night.
Don't think Brooke will really want to share Julian with movie Brooke though.
And who can blame her when you get this.

As a public figure in a small town, I can't go anywhere without being recognized, without someone stopping me to talk or complain. Walmart, the DMV, even in the drive-thru people have stepped in front of my car to get my attention. Sometimes very angry people shouting at me with my children right there.
Never, not once, have I ever entertained the thought of shoving, kicking, striking or spitting on them. It wouldn't be right, it wouldn't solve anything, in most cases make things much worse.

It is soooo damage control. And I wouldn't be surprised if it was even made up. They always turn to People for damage control, remember the sighting of Jake supposedly going to a business dinner on the night of the Emmy's that came out a few days after there were sightings of him in Texas on that same day?
I love Austin and Sophia in the trailer for the next episode, it's very campy with all those shirtless men and Sophia's reaction. And Austin has looked more relaaxed in these later episodes. Probably a combination of starting to feel more comfortable with everyone and the show, and having a bigger part so he can really get into it, rather than the snippets we had early in the season.
With Jake so grumpy, I wonder how Austin's being away to film OTH has affected him. If Jake wasn't so deep in the closet he could go visit him, something I think is pretty clear he is not doing. And with Austin's role getting bigger, he's probably had to spend more time filming than he did earlier in the seaon.

I do worry that Jake, to use Austin Powers' phrase, is losing his mojo. As much as it made his handlers crazy, Jakes former openness (and hilarious ambiguity when it came to his personal life) was a major part of his charm. Without that, he's just another nice-looking guy who can act. But lots of the appeal seems to be gone. (I mostly blame the managers/producers who kicked Jake deep into the closet, but I suppose at the end of the day he has to sign off....)
Austin, on the other hand, seems to have plenty of sparkle to go around....

I meant that I tried watching Casanova once, not The Order. I liked the Order, although it was kind of sad, too. I have a picture of Heath, Northeast, I think it may be from Casanova, but Heath looks like he's rehearsing a scene and he's in black pants with a narrowed leg and heeled shoes. Almost look like high heels, but I'm not sure. Might be boot-types with just a narrow heel, lol. Have you seen that one?

NO, No I'm a fan of Austin Nichols. I just don't like the HW game he's apart of and promoting. What asshole would allow his boyfriend to beard and leave him with BT. Why would he allow this? For me there's something nastier about spitting. There's the idea that you're transmitting your bodily fluids towards someone else. People with diseases have been sentenced to long term jail sentences for doing such things. Not hitting, not kicking but spitting.

God only knows what other recent anger displays he's done that haven't been recorded or if strangers didn't recognize him or the ones his friends, family, associates have to put up with. And the scarf - that's the scarf that's his and one that he and Austin have trade back and forth - there is no reeke to that - that is all Austin.
You know what - I think he's got a part in Torso - the 40's is around the time setting of the movie. Either he's got something or he's trying to show Fincher he can do it, remember how he call Sam Mendes every night? When he wants something he goes after it.
I think Jake is taking more interest in director and I think always has but he is looking for a mentor - and Fincher and Howard - hey can you go wrong - I can see Jake getting interested in going behind the camera. And I find it even more interesting that Austin has talked more about his writing. Do we see long range plans?

Does anyone else think it is strange that Reese did not attend this event with him? It would have been the perfect opportunity to make a statement subtle or otherwise. She could have gone inside and skipped the red carpet and just posed for inside "candids" or gone all out and walked the carpet with him. It isn't her event or his event it was an opportunity if they are truly getting engaged to take that next step publicly at a small scale event. I'll bet this relationship is stalled in neutral. She doesn't want another set of kids, he does, she wants the freedom to schedule her work as it comes and not have to work around his schedule etc.

Hey Destiny & Tom! Wondered where you all were. This is one of those in & out days. It's really nice outside and I'm putting away winter decorations and now it's on to the Valentines's!!! Red lights in the windows, hearts everywhere, pink & red, red & pink, lol. Was never happy with my blue window lights. Only had one string of LED's and they made everything else pale in comparison. pathetic. And of course, there were no LED lights at after-Christmas sales. All snatched up.

PR girl Jake wore the Dove shirt a couple of summers ago. It was just a powder blue(I believe) tea shirt with a white dove on the front. He looked really cute.

Well I've seen a few more pics from the Santa Barbara event and at least he smiled some of the time. But it was not a true smile, his usual smile. There is deep sadness coming from those eyes.
I also noticed in a couple pics that he has an old silver filling. Even I had all mine redone years ago so my mouth is entirely white, tooth filled or not. I find it odd that an actor with his money has not done this.
Let me clarify my post. I think Jake G is either bi or gay.
Personally I have no evidence that he is "gay/gay" which is how my homicitas refer to those living a glass closet life, partnered, everyone knows but it's not discussed and it is assumed he'll come out at some point (think Anderson Cooper or David Hyde Pierce). But like I've said before just because I haven't heard that doesn't mean it isn't true.

Hey m! Oh, these dentists today hate those old silver fillings. I fought tooth & nail when I finally switched dentists. Also fought with them over taking shots to get my fillings. I never had shots when I had fillings. The shots hurt worse than the drilling!! But I do have to admit, the new fillings blend right into your teeth - look alot better.
I gave up arguing that point about his pictures. If people can't see it, I sure can't keep pointing it out. Of course, he probably had a good time - I would think so. I hope so. But when there's a lull? When he's alone in some of those pictures? There it comes. Right back into his eyes. Not only that, it's around his mouth. I don't think people understand that about depression. It's not that you can't function at all - I think that's manic depression, anyways. You can function. You can have a good time somewhere with friends. Then that event is over and it comes back on you. It's never gone for long. It just might be tucked away back there. I see that glazed or faraway/expressionless look in his eyes and that's what it looks like to me.

People saying Jakes 1940 look might mean Finchers "Torso" movie. Could be, probably is but wouldn't be surprised if Finch gives it to someone else. 1- may be too soon to use same actor right after Zodiac 2-Fincher seems the type to string people along and see how far they will go even tho he already made the decision in his mind.

Pretty sure I read that the studio that had an option on Torso let it lapse. Another one could pick it up of course but the impression I had was that the project was dead, at least for now. I think the impact of the recession is slowly being felt by HW film makers and studios. Article on drudge report today about DVD sales tanking and how these sales fit into long term profits.

It's Paramount that let it expire. The concern, it said was the state of the economy right now and Fincher's tendency to go highbudget. The article I saw said that they'll be hardpressed to make money on the Benjamin Button movie. It doesn't sound close to even breaking even. Ouch.

Jakes sense of fashion is very strange. The man is dorky but cute.
Looked at the pictures again of Jake, and you know what. He looks good. The suit is good, shoe's polished, he's skin looks great, his color's good, the brows may need a little thinning, but he is a cleaned up - which is what everyone he had been going on about. And I like the hat.
