We know that Jake is handy, he's into woodworking, he built his mom a table, and wasn't he doing some chicken coop or something. or other. And seems to like mid century modern by his choice of furniture store and the functionality of Ikea. But do you know he is the accomplished decorator?
I mean who could do a better job than integrating this as fine art?

Absolutely WRONG DESTINY.
I am just as appauled as many about the attitude that being gay is a bad thing. Some who support gays and gay rights unconciously seem to have this attitude also.
Friends and myself just watched a taped episode of Tyra last night of "Gay for pay" which was about straight men who do gay porn or work as bartenders in gay clubs because of the pay, which for them was more money. At least they identify as STRAIGHT. Most of the female audience was appauled or upset with the men and could not understand their rationale about why they do it and why they call themselves straight. All of them had girlfriends or were married. The married one had three children and he performed all sex acts while performing gay porn as a Straight man. Now one bartender's girlfriend who was bi said she considered her boyfriend as bi, not straight, just as she was.

Some of my friends and myself were somewhat upset because the tone of the show or host/audience attitude seem to be that it was not good to be gay. And one of the porn stars spoke on this. He said the real problem is that most people have problems with homosexuals.
We agreed.
Now I would say that the bartenders were or (could) be bi-curious if they had not acted on the many pay propositions. They said they did not. I would say the labeled (straight) gay porn stars were bisexual, because it's the act, regardless if you are not turned on by a same sex partner. IMO this goes for the ones who took viagra to stay aroused and not being intersted in Men. How could anybody know if they are lying? You just have to take it as the truth.
In my opinion a (STRAIGHT) person would not perform a same sex act unless they were forced to. Regardless of money.

Where do you think this was linked on and discussed? It was part of a thread. Ugly, isn't it? I didn't like it either and I bleeped out a word and edited it, so just think - it was alot uglier than that.
Maybe I shouldn't have put it up so I apologize about it, I didn't like it myself at all - that "hire for contract" kind of talk was outrageous. But, I mean, it's available right next door. I've seen some pretty bad stuff said to myself on OMG and to others here, plus I've said pretty ugly stuff that I'm not proud of as well. So, I'm not going to act like I've never seen something ugly said on the internet before. But sometimes one has to be aware of what is being said out there, because like I said, as far as I'm concerned, some of that came as close to slander as I could imagine. You cannot, cannot go around agreeing with some anonymous person's comment referring to what they were talking about like they were talking about someone liking chicken noodle soup.
I'm not going to go into it because I'm done with it, but I needed to address this comment.
Hey, we are having some absolutely gorgeous weather here in the Midwest. As I said earlier, it was 57 degrees when I walked this morning and it's in the upper 70's now. Unbelievable!
The walk was splendid, Destiny. I've been out at my park only a couple of times since the spring - and when I have, it's been very early in the morning and DFord has never been out there then. The only thing is I miss seeing this senior couple that I always used to see & talk to. I'm sure they're wondering where I'm at.
But on the upside, I get home a bit earlier and well, one has to adapt behaviors sometimes.
And, I love today's post. Do any of you remember these cards? Special, weren't they gum cards? We used to collect these as kids. They were hilarious! I wish I had kept some of this stuff. I forget what they were called, too. Boy, they used to have some really pretty gross pictures on them.

I love Sugar Sugar!!! The Archies! I have Jingle Jangle on my I Tunes, lol. I like it.
And lastly, I have a new little one in the apartment. A new laptop. Woohooooo! I can't do my wireless on it so I'm going to have to lug my router and whatnot to my computer gurus. Heavy Sigh. But at least I am on my own network, lol. This is very exciting and I am in love, lol.
One last thing is a question for London TB regarding something I was thinking about during my walk this morning because I was listening to "Patience" by Take That. London, have you heard of Take That? Are they still popular over there? That lead singer, the one who plays the piano, he sure is nice looking. As is the tall, lean, dark haired one. And their other lead singer, the one who took Robbie's place, he's kind of cute. I love several of their songs and I have the dvd of The Concert for Diana. They were fantastic on it. Do you like Take That at all? What do you know about them? Sorry for all the questions but I'd really like to hear what you know about them.

Re some of today's comments- I know sometimes it's hard to have faith. I take a break periodically myself. But to me, the cake is just about to come out of the oven. The last 2 years have been building up to something. With 2 movies coming out soon, we will get to actually hear Jake talk about what he has been doing. I for one can't wait to see it unfold and to see how he behaves after POP hoopla is over. It's like driving 4 hrs to get to the grand canyon. I am not going to turn around with 15 minutes to go because I am tired of driving.

They were a 90s boy band (which broke up to much grief from their fanbase. Robbie's career went stratospheric while they languished for years and years - I think a couple of them appeared on some reality shows. THEN, the wheel of fortune being what it is, Robbie went into the doldrums and Take That came back with some great new songs (among them Patience, which I also love :)).

Kacie many people believe that Ted is the best in the business. He sure must have some connections. He has been around a long time. But now I do believe he does embellish a lot. He writes what people want to read. The Pattison kid it getting Eonline big time hits. Toothy is still on Teds mind but is now old news. I dont think Ted knows anything about Jakes and Austins relationship anymore since he refuses to say they are together or have split. I think he is putting hints out there that reeke may marry. I hope m is right and they dont. Wow that would be sad to see.
After those biking pics there sure has been a big attempt to make doubters out of us all that Jake and Austin are together. For sure Jake committed a serious error in the PR plan with that first ride. He took a risk and now is paying.
in my most recent copy of People, there was a full page pic of them coming out of that gym (burnt 60) and the title was "The couple that plays together stays together" but the gist of the article was that Reese has no plans to marry him.
