She was from the Pittsburgh area. I thought it was about the Namath picture, since Joe was from Beaver Falls, PA. But it looks like its for Love and Drugs.
Funny how the location got changed from LA to Pittsburgh. Don't think Jake or Anne will mind. Not that far from NY and NC for that matter.
The location was never L.A. I don't think=. PA has great tax excentives to film there and Love and drugs is a small budget film.
Pittsburgh ain't too far from Philly either, same state and according to Philly reports, Reese's film for some reason is filming in Philly through October which seems to be an awful long time to film a rom-com: June - October??? Is that why she decided to rent a place in Admore instead of just staying at a hotel in Philly and why she has the kids with her now when Ryan was supposed to have them for the summer? Because if true and she will be in PA until October, the kids will need to be back in LA for school in September . Either that or she will finish filming at the end of August but plans to stick around PA so it will be easier for her to visit the set of Love and drugs.
One of the reason of the long schedule is Nicholson. Cause you know he is the real star than runs that shoot. And who can blame Brooks, Jack was in two of his movies that won Oscars.
But there was word it was going film in LA. I also think the location was tax incentives but was influenced with both Anne's and Jake's schedules as well. And I think Jake and Anne don't mind shooting on the East Coast.
What I am watching is how much of Jake's projects will be East Coast based over the course of the next two years, or as long a Austin is OTH or his contract is up.
I read the script for the movie with Reese and Jack's part isn't that big. Anyway, if that's the case than this filming is going on a rather slow pace if it's going to film until October which overlaps into Jake's movie which is scheduled to start fiming in mid-September.
Sort of like when he was filming Brothers in NM and she was filming FC in SF at the same time and yet they still managed to fly back and forth during breaks for "visits".
Just pointing out that it works in PR's favor that they will be both filming in the same state. I don't think either one of them will be returnong to LA for a while.

Good catch re Jake's filming and time now being spent back east while Austin is there. Not a fan of Pittsburgh myself. I have relatives there and spent my youth there. I could not wait to leave. Everyone says oh its changed, but when I go back to visit, it's exactly the same to me.

Special didn't say that Austin was the one doing the flying. She said Pitt is close to NY and NC. You are the one with Jake with Reese 24/7.
Pittsburgh is closer to Philly than Ny or NC. Easier for her to stick around after filming of her film wraps and she can "visit" Jake on set in Pitts., at least in the beggining of shooting. Just like Pop,Brothers and Nailed for her and FC and this flick for him.
Jake has family in the Admore on the main line area of PA on his fathers side, that's where she is renting the mansion.
Bryn Athyn is east Montgomery Co. than Ardmore closer to Delawar Co.
You have to past Willow Grove to get Bryn Anthyn.

I'm not worrying about Austin at the moment either. I think I'm with Wicked. I am leaning toward Austin being just fine on his own, no Jake Allowed. Austin looks happy. He looks healthy. If he were a woman, I'd say he looked downright radiant, lol.

When and if these 2 guys ever again give any signs of being together, I'll change my mind.

And I do think you will seen Jake working on the East Coast for a while, and not because of PR. But because of his movies. Funny that.
If he does Namath, they will likely shoot east because Namath was from Beaver Falls, PA, played for Alabama, and then went Pro for the Jets, and just his last season for the Rams in LA.
Also wonder if Damn Yankees will shoot East as well. Senators vs. Yankees (East Coast baseball)
Of course, there is going back to work on PoP2 (really don't seem them starting until after 2010.) And then there is that Linman moon project that still orbiting.

Well, I am on the broke-up train, but I will say this. And that's that Austin has had the easy road, up to a certain point. Jake's showing the physical toll because he's had the much higher profile portion of it all. Austin's been living on Easy Street.
Now, that doesn't mean Jake has apparently created alot of his own misery, but the fact remains that he has been the one wearing the big bearding sandwich board and not Austin.
Anyway, it is officially the weekend! It's Friday and work is over. Boy, we all were really irritated at work today. It was month end and you know how all that accounting gets mgmt all worked up. $$$ makes people act all hyper.

My Three Sons is on and I'm so disheartened to hear Ernie Douglas' voice has all of a sudden changed. lol. Just not the same, no sir. What cracks me up is to see Robbie & Katie carrying their triplets around and they're so obviously dolls. Alot of times, one of them carried 2 at once and the babies are stiffer than boards. lol!

Filming for Love and Other Drugs is running mid late Sept till early December. Hmmm Austin is filming OTH, through early Dec.

Also both have slipped in and out NYC, under the radar when they want to. It's less than two hours from Wilmy to NYC, and under 90 mins. from Pittsburgh.

While I do believe that Reeke is fake, I also think that if Jake used to have more of his own private life he gave it up. What time on his own does he have? Spending 2 weeks in NYC with Reese, spending 1 1/2 weeks in DC with Reese, spending weekends in Ojai with Reese and her kids, spending a week in Philly with Reese and her kids. I think that the pressure to promote Jake is straight and Reeke is worlds most in love and devoted couple is on hard because POP promotion has begun and POP, or rather Jake as the prince, is not looking that good. I bet that Jake will be spending the rest of the summer with his beard in Philly and then go to Pittsburgh to start to film his movie. Besides promoting Reeke, what else does Jake have to do? I also think that at one time Jake and Austin may have been hot and heavy, but now they are just occasional fuck buddies. Jake sold his sould to Reese and Disney so he could be a movie star and make money. Hope he is happy with himself.
I greatly tend to agree with Buried in that I bet Jake does spend August and September in Philadelphia, with maybe a few breaks in L.A. whenever Reese gets the same breaktime. Let's face it, this is the only Jake we see now - Reeke Jake. Regardless of this other "private" life, the only one that's allowed to be seen is Reeke Jake.
Does this mean I think Reeke is real? Hardly. They're about as romantically real as Rock Hudson was with Doris Day. But, I don't think Jake has anything else to do with his life. Obviously has no more athletic pasttimes. Or was he ever really athletic? Was that all just a front for a pap image? I sure don't know anymore.

I tend to think J&A are still together, and that a lot of the 24/7 reeking is designed to make us think otherwise. Of course even if Jake and Austin are not together, spending 24/7 with the Chin is not going to make him any less gay.
Either way, it sure is one sorry way to live your life, and only fools think they'll live forever and make it up in the future. All the money in the world cannot get you back the time you wasted on things that didn't matter and it can't bring back your youth, even if it can buy you a face lift.
I'm meeting a friend for breakfast tomorrow too, and spending as much time as possible outdoors as it is supposed to be the one nice day we've had all week--and will have for a while to come. I'm jealous of your cool weather and walking PG, I've had very little of either one the past month or so--and before that it was the rain keeping me indoors. What a crappy summer.

Hey, there were these kids playing some weird looking game out at the park we go walk at. I've never seen anything like it. Some of the boys were carrying little shields. They all were carrying foam thingy's, like bats. And then one boy was carrying a big foam thing that I swear, looked like a giant Playtex tampon. lol. Whaaaaaa in the heck were they playing?! Has anyone ever seen anything like this? It wasn't lacrosse, I know that much.
You know, I have never been a cat person. Have never, ever liked them. But the Major has changed this for me! I love the Major. He's the most beautiful cat in the whole world. I think if I ever do decide to get a pet, even though I love dogs, I would love a cat just like the Major.He's kind of a crochety guy. But I love his meows and he feels so cute when I pick him up in the mornings to take them downstairs to their room. And now he lets me kiss on him. I love his little tiny nose.

Those times seem so long ago now. I think that for as long as Reeke has been going on, you could make a whole 2 1/2 hr "Making of" video and set it to "The Way We Were" by Barbara Streisand. Fill it with all the highlights and lowlights of Reeke. LOL! Well, there certainly wouldn't be any highlights, maybe HaHalights - the Blooper Reel! I think the Blooper Reel would be longer than the video itself.
