The Turkey has landed. Austin is now in Europe to do the USO Tour in Germany and Turkey. This weekend he will be at Ramstein Air Force Base for a meet and greet and sign some autographs.
Ramstein Air Base is the U.S.Air Force base in the German state of Rheinland-Pfalz, near the town of Ramstein, in the rural district of Kaiserslautern, Germany.It serves as headquarters for the United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) and is also a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) installation.It is also the home of of the 86th Airlift Wing.
Austin will be spending the weekend in Germany and knowing Austin there will be some sampling of Germany's great traditions. (ie, beer, beer, and beer) Sure that Austin will find many fellow Longhorn fans on the base, maybe more than OTH ones. And while giving back to the troops, sure that Austin will as even more from the experience. But hopefully not hair cut again.
Next stop will be Turkey next week, before heading home, maybe in time to have Thanksgiving back in US.

Nailed wasn't the only movie Jake did that had money problems. Hollywood economizes.
Take Jim Sheridan, for example.
The director of the Oscar-nominated pic "My Left Foot" was tapped by Relativity Media and Lionsgate to helm December's "Brothers," about a missing Marine (Tobey Maguire) and his younger brother (Jake Gyllenhaal), both in love with the same woman (Natalie Portman).
Despite his pedigree, Sheridan was asked to make sacrifices. That meant shooting Afghanistan-set scenes in New Mexico, which offers tax incentives, and forgoing shots aboard a helicopter because the cost of insuring actors would have been too onerous. Instead, Sheridan used a green screen.
It also meant Sheridan had to convince Maguire to skip holiday meals over Christmas because he needed his star to drop 20 pounds and the director didn't have the money to extend production.
"In the old days, studios were cash-rich," Sheridan says. "If you had a problem, you could go talk to executives. Nowadays, if you go over your budget, you better find the money yourself."
Getting Maguire to forgo mashed potatoes was nothing, however, compared to the emergency that erupted one week into the "Brothers" shoot. Axium International, a payroll agency that serviced many productions including "Brothers," shut its doors and declared bankruptcy. In the midst of shooting, the film was out more than $1 million, and the only way to keep things moving was for producers to sacrifice their contingency fees. They did."

I must admit, Jake looks good in this latest POP photo. I don't care for his look in Brothers. That haircut and facial hair was not flattering to his face.

No we don't know Kelsey, so if it sounds like it did from the way I wrote the comment.
It is the same picture that they used on the USO poster, but nope haven't seen that headshot before. Maybe it was one that he did for OTH this year.

I love Jake's "Brothers" look.
When Tobey ask Jake " did you sleep with my wife", that turn and look Jake gives Tobey is awesome. The eyes says alot.
JMO, but Jake looks better with short hair and short facial hair. He looks more masculine and rugged. All while exuding a sensitve bad boy look. It does add 5 to 10 years on his look though. Maturity I guess. Never thought the young boyish long hair comb to the back and sides look accented Jake's looks. The POP look is different and not bad, but different.

Is there a larger picture to pic 1 to see the full leg? I know the emphasis is on the portion of the foot and the indentions of it near the arch. A full picture of the photo would help me to see and judge better. Never seen this picture.

Yes, I think it's old beach picture (IHJ), I hope Special has it somewhere handy.
I have looked at those legs and feet a hundred times. They could belong to Jake. I am convinced more than anything though that those legs belong to a man. The ankles and the feet are much too thick to belong to a woman. If they do belong to a woman this is a very big women.
I love to know exactly when this picture was taken. It seems it appeared around the same time that the pictures of Austin in his androgonous poses were taken. Not sure though?

It is not just the picture, it is how the picture is cropped too that tells you that is they wanted it to appear like a women's leg because its not, it's a man.
Matthew Frost (a friend of Jake & Austin) took the picture, but look how he cropped it, he cut the tip of the foot to make it look shorter, cropped the side to eliminate the knee caps, and cropped it into Austin's hair because of what's behind it. ; )
No way they could show the toes SK. Then for sure we would know not only that the legs belong to a man but which man.

Enjoy the movie SK. As of right now it is getting zero Oscar buzz. The buzz after that fan friendly viewing has completely died The lasted ranking of the top 22 movies of the yeae does not incude Brothers and the acting categories include none of the actors. Tobey has got some buzz but very very little. Again this movie is being kept away from crtics whlie the companies other movie Precious is being seen and ranked number 3.
Took a break this evening as we watched Star Trek, which just came out on DVD. What a good movie. Exciting, funny, interesting. Great effects. Good casting. I only wish I had a 100 inch screen to view it on. Anyway, visited ONTD and was totally surprised at how many people dislike the latest POP picture. I mean the comments were overwhelmingly negative.
I recorded General Hospital to catch Franco, but haven't watched it yet. Comment too on WFT about Jake (Brothers) just not having chemistry with women. I do think that's an accurate statement. Off the charts with men, tepid with women.

Boy, was I bushed last night. I was in the backseat while we were trying to go see some holiday lights and I guess I was saying things I don't even remember saying, lolll. My friend took a picture and I said "Where was that?" And she said didn't I remember? Because I had said "Oh cool!" snicker! I don't even remember saying that. Lindsey Lohan moment!! No, no, I'm kidding. I was just overtired. Oh well!
We had a minor stumbling block last night in our dinner as our gas grill seemed to have an empty tank. And when we got back from shopping, the valance bar thingy had fallen off of the balcony sliding doors. When the guy came to bring us a new gas tank, he told us not to wreck anything else, lol. We didn't do anything - it just fell off on its own. Still had the grilled hamburgers - boy, were they good.
There are quite a few deer around here. They must be awfully used to people because they don't even budge. They'll stand right along the road, eating and just kind of look up at you, nonchalantly. We saw a buck last night - he was kind of big. Just kind of meandering across the road right in front of us. Don't mind us, buddy.
I haven't seen any of the pictures yet. I'll have to get out there, I guess. Be in the know.
