Film Bank

Austin has been a little cryptic about the movie his working on, but has OMG cracked the code?

I just started a really cool film today. I LOVE MOVIES

I am wearing a long wig. I have fake sideburns and the year is 1969. That's all I can tell you about this film right now.

Is he working on "As Cool as I Am", that's shooting in New Mexico at moment?

Based on Peter Fromm's coming of age novel it is the story of Lucy Diamond, the teen daughter of self-centered parents who married too young and never had a chance to experience their youth. James Marsden and Claire Danes play the parents. Sarah Bolger plays their daughter, Lucy. At one point Maggie was considered for the role of the mom and Dakota was one considered for the role of Lucy.

It is and independent film with writer-director Max Mayer heading it up.

It may be way off based, no way to know until Austin says more. But one thing we can ponder is what Austin would be looking like in 1969.

While Austin is working, Jake's counting the change. Jake was seen heading into a bank yesterday in Beverly Hills. High financing or just visiting those treasures in the safe deposit box?

One thing for sure is Jake would have to take off those Ray Bans and show those baby blues for those cameras in there.

For the cameras in where? The safety deposit room?

I hope you're right about the film, sounds interesting, and I really like Claire Danes.

Banks have cameras everywhere and it is common practice that they ask patrons to remove their sunglasses when in the bank.

Austin looks good circa 1969. His other film looks interesting too.

Glad to hear your family in MO and KS are doing ok Special. A very scary weather season. Thinking of everyone affected by the weather there and sending good thoughts.

I hope the girls have a good time in California.

Destiny awesome what Steve Nash did. I need to get me a Phoenix Suns cap.

Jake wouldn't be doing investments, mortgages or high financing at the bank, that's what you have a business manager for, so you do have wonder why popped into the bank. It's not for turning in rolls of pennies.

So it's either to grab cash (more than you can out of the ATM perhaps?), or to get something out of a safety deposit box or put something in one.

When OTH and Jake collide and we're not talking Austin.

Check out Bethany Joy Galeotti's response to being asked if she was cast with Jake in Safe Haven.

BethanyGaleotti: @unseagirl25 HAHAHAHA!“@BethanyGaleotti: Is it true that you will be in the movie Safe Haven as Katie? & Jake Gyllenhaal will play as Alex?”

Jake Gyllenhaal wants to feel “instantly comfortable” on a date.

The actor has explained it’s important to him that he feels relaxed around a potential new girlfriend from the moment they meet.

The Hollywood hunk, who dated Reese Witherspoon for three years and was recently linked to country singer Taylor Swift, has discussed what makes him feel attracted to women.

“It is just important for me that I can feel comfortable with a woman instantly,"?he told the German edition of In Touch magazine.

The 30-year-old heartthrob also shared a secret, revealing that sometimes the women in his family can be a little annoying.

Jake, whose older sister is actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, joked that he expects nothing less from his female relatives, as they love to know everything about his personal life.

“Sometimes my mom and my sister can be a bit annoying. We are just a family, that's enough," he laughed.

Special K said...

Instantly comfortable with a woman? What a way to say the chances of that are next to none to happen. What a way to get around that.

I have to laugh at Joy's tweet about her and Jake cast in a movie together. Austin must we cracking up too.

Variety reported that End of Watch had buyers flocking to buy it at Cannes, as well as to Meryl Streep's Great hope Springs, and the movie Ender's Game.

LAPD having a one actor from television and one from movies who LAPD officer is not what you usually expect there for the Medal of Valor awards. But then again it's LA.

Wonder if we will see pictures from the event.

Instantly comforatable? My experience with relationships is that its the ones who make you a flustered mess that count. Raging hormones/lust/butterflies in your stomach are the way to start. Friendships are instantly comfortable, not love affairs.

So, who is she?
You might know her better as feisty cheerleader Brooke Davies from CW’s One Tree Hill. Then we watched her running for her life from Sean Bean in Hitchhiker. She also has an insanely good-looking on-and-off screen boyfriend called Austin Nichols.

So she is a cool girl, but why is she a Global Cool girl?
Sophia and Austin really know how to be Global Cool stars. They live in an eco-friendly home with energy saving appliances. She also loves gardening and has her own compost pile. Even on set these eco-warriors encourage fellow cast members and crew to recycle and save energy. In the aftermath of the catastrophic BP oil spill Sophia and Austin went out to Louisiana to see the impact of the oil spill, in association with Global Green USA. What super stars!

Wow, m, could never have put it better. Great comment.

THEY live in an eco-friendly home.

And where, pray tell, is this home that Austin and Sophia share????

So is Jake in an eco-friendly carriage house behind their humble abode??

And where did GlobalCool get the idea that Austin and Soapy share a home together??

Hey, where was our Us Weekly "Austin Moves In!" An inquiring mind wants to know.

LOL!!! It's the gift that just keeps on giving. Check out these new "alleged leaked" photoshopped photos of Jake on AfterElton. These things are classic. Jake with Half-Pint on Little House on the Prairie is my favorite, I think, although Jake as Grace Kelly with Cary Grant is pretty good, too.

Maybe for women that's true. Not necessarily for men.

Ha Ha Ha. Baby Grace is just too disturbing. The Nancy Grace one cracks me up, because he looks like a dominatrix from some Eastern European country.

Methodical Muser said...

Instantly comfortable? Is that why Jake uses third parties to introduce him to women. Almost like brokering a deal. Guess Jake's definition of comfort requires contractual stipulations.

Oh my God those pics are so funny. My fav is the Nancy Grace pic.

On DL there was a pic posted of Jake, Anderson Cooper and bf Ben Maisani at the Vanity Fair party. I thought it was interesting seeing as Anderson is not out publicly but brings Ben everywhere. Jake can't seem to make up his mind most times and rarely brings anyone with him.

I can't post the pic because I'm on my cell, it is in and Anderson thread if anyone want to look for it. I will try to get it later.

Just those two reasons, huh? said...

So it's either to grab cash (more than you can out of the ATM perhaps?), or to get something out of a safety deposit box or put something in one.

Why do you pretend to know these things? There could be lots of reasons for him going into a bank. Business manager aside, there are certain things that people have to sign for and do themselves. It would be damn foolish to give anyone complete power of attorney over your money and having a business manager does not mean that you've done that.

Special K said...

No the business manager would not sign those things, but they would have all those set up through their office to be taken care of in their office and make it more convenient for Jake to do it there.

Wow the idea of a safety deposit box is really getting people uptight. And who knows what it could be he's putting in there. It could be as innocent as putting one of his watches in there.

Who is getting uptight? said...

Wow the idea of a safety deposit box is really getting people uptight.

LOL. Why do you always go there? Why would anyone get uptight about a safe deposit box? A safe deposit box has nothing to do with being gay, having a secret "husband" or secret children. There is nothing either "innocent" or "guilty" about it. What is being questioned is your know-it-all attitude about every innocuous move Jake makes.
The question is: Why do you always think that every freaking move he makes has something to do with your theories about his life?

but they would have all those set up through their office to be taken care of in their office and make it more convenient for Jake to do it there.

LOL again. Because you are an expert on celebs on how they handle matters, right? Because you know exactly what is more convenient for anyone, right? You don't even know what he is doing there, but you feel free to state your speculations (all grounded in your theories) as some kind of facts.

prairiegirl said...

Thanks for sharing 08:02, that's a vision to imagine. Coop and Jake in a picture together all duded up.

I don't think you would see Jake & Austin together at something like the Vanity Fair party today because it's too public of an event. That's just my opinion. Until I see a current picture of these two guys together at a high profile HW event, I won't believe that they are at these events together.

Heck, they can't even be in L.A. together, gotta ship Jake off to New Orleans, Memphis and NYC while everyone knows Austin is in L.A.

I know they don't want to be out right now but you want to just clunk their coconuts together because they obviously can't see that all this does is send the big message that they're ashamed of what they have and they're embarrassed to be seen/papped together.

They could deny it all they want or rationalize what they're doing but this IS the message being broadcast.

Honestly, I don't know how they're going to explain this one to their kids someday if they even survive this whole period in their relationship.

A good rule of thumb to keep in mind that is grounded in common sense is to view your safe deposit box as the repository for stuff that you really need, but will not likely ever need on a moment’s notice. Items that are a pain to get replaced such as birth certificates and other family records definitely belong here.

Another important item to remember for insurance purposes is a videotape of your home’s content for insurance purposes, and a copy of this video definitely belongs in your safe deposit box. Contracts, stocks, bonds, certificates of deposit, original deeds to property, collectibles and rare jewels are also commonly kept in safe deposit boxes. If your grandmother gave you a pouch of diamonds or if you have negatives from your honeymoon that aren’t safe for the film lab then lock it all up at the bank! For that matter, you can put just about anything you want in the box.

So? I just saw it for the first time. You guys have the same MO all the time. You can't come up with logical replies so you throw the old stand by out there that someone is getting "scared" or "nervous" or "uptight." Reality check: y'all are amusing, not threatening.

prairiegirl said...

Then why are you here trying to carry a serious conversation about it?

So? I just saw it for the first time.

Yeah, right.

Thanks to the person for taking the time to bring the link of that picture. That is one handsome looking picture of men in tuxes.

prairiegirl, your lame responses just prove my point. My first response has LOL all over it - your first clue that I'm not taking y'all seriously, as much as you like to imagine you're these great detectives with your secret infamous word document (btw, will this trip to the bank be recorded in the timeline as something important?)

Second, why is it so hard to believe I just saw the post? That's the best you can come up with? It would make no sense to read a post, wait a day, and then respond. But, again, you can't answer with logic, so you try the same smokescreens.
