Jake's visit to Inside the Actors wasn't all about his acting. James Lipton also got Jake to share about growing up in the business along with some cute pictures of little guy Jake.
The hat alone is !Magic! - Jake's that is .
And who knew Jake was a blonde?
A blondie .....huh

When you see the innocence and sweetness of a baby such as what Jake was, you want to have prevented any pain or distress he ever had in his life from what he was going to go through later in life due to his orientation. Not because of how he was born - God creates all that is beautiful. He should remember that.
I hope and pray that he comes to some kind of peace and acceptance. I don't know how - I don't know what it's like and I can't pretend to know. But I do know that he's just a human like the rest of us - which means he and Austin are children of God and no different from any of us.
It pains me to no end to see what's going on right now and when I see baby pictures like these - it's a crime to see what his mother has participated in and endorsed in his full view and knowledge.
May Jake & Austin enjoy their time in L.A. and have some loving peace. That is my wish and prayer for them.
And Sunday also means it's football and well, you know I'm a bandwagon-er. So GO CHIEFS!!!
Bah!!! I'm a bandwagoner until they hit the skids. lol
Congratulations, Special, I understand your Sox are 2-0????
Tried to comment yesterday but couldn't seem to get blogger to work. I wanted to thank Tom for posting about SAG. I think it's a nice first step, but agree with PG that it's going to take a lot to change things. For starters, the producer and director guilds need to make their own statements, and then put their words into action by hiring gay actors.
I also think that if a lot of stars came out, as PG suggested, it would be hard for HW to discriminate against all of them.
Cute pictures of Jake. Still haven't tried to watch the interview on line, so I hadn't seen them before.
I will be at the Rays vs Red Sox playoff game tomorrow. Just there to enjoy but have had fun watching the Rays since I moved here. Saying that Go Phillies. Can't wait till February .
Personally I like to see SAG sue the studios and Producers. I doubt any Gay actors would testify though :-(
Tom
So jealous of you I could spit. :D
Go Sox!!
Oh wow, Tom! Scoring tickets and not having to worry about work the next morning. The life, the life!!
lol. Hope you have a great time, Tom, should be electric. Have a dog for me! With mustard.
: )
Now, if you want the ultimate dog, that would include those flat, sliced pickles, relish and celery salt. A Chicago Dog. #Classic #Unforgettable #Ultimate
PG they got really good footlongs at Tropicana Park :-) The only problem with the fans here is that they love them darn cowbells and the echo in a domed studium is horrible :-(
I love not working but believe it or not I still get up really early.
How bout those Chiefs 5-0!!!!
5-0 !!!!!
And M&M was giving me a hard time because it looked like the Chiefs were going to lose!!
;D
Can't believe they pulled that out. I can't believe they're 5-0. I just dug my Chiefs sweatshirt out of storage - it's going into the laundry to get washed. What a bandwagon-er! LOL
Hey, I paid my dues. I was a season ticket holder for years. #TryingToJustifyMyBandwagoning
lol.
Congrats on the Chiefs, PG. I hear all about it from my Dad on my Sunday call with him. :D

Jake Gyllenhaal has such a sweet voice.

Hey, I'm being misrepresented! I merely said that it looked like they might lose, which it did for a minute there. That is until the Titans quarterback threw an interception. Californians are going to have to do a whole lot of explaining, if Alex Smith continues on this streak and Colin Kaepernick screws up. If this happens, Jim Harbaugh isn't going to look like a genius any longer.

Er, let me rephrase that.
I distinctly remember a chortle sound during the original proclamation.
;D
I was just clearing my throat. ;-)
BWAH!!! lol.
All in good fun. Just teasin', just teasin'.
Heck, I don't even know what players are on the Chiefs this year, shows what I know.
But still a fan as long as the train is moving full steam ahead!

Jake Gyllenhaal's weird baby voice
Jake has a lovely voice, and he did a great reading The Man Who Walked Between the Towers and The Great Gatsby. His voice has a soft soothing, warm quality that wraps around you as a listener.
He does have a lovely voice. His kids are very fortunate to be able to hear him read Corduroy.
That's why it was such a shame to hear him say on national television that he didn't like the sound of his own voice.
Puzzling.
I guess in this "I'm a T&A kind of guy" phase of his career, it shouldn't be surprising that Jake doesn't like the sound of his own voice. Probably, not MASCULINE enough for his reimaging campaign.
Too bad he has such low self esteem, because I also think Jake has an uniquely dulcifying aspect to his voice, as well. I guess Jake doesn't get that there's nothing sexier, or more attractive, that a guy who's comfortable in his own skin.
"Stop sounding like a baby, Jacob! I can't acquire anymore of those pricey Banksy prints if you don't start cooperating."
^ Hit the nail on the head with that one.
Sadly, I agree.
One look at the picture of Jake's mother leading the photo op parade with Jake and Alyssa Miller following behind says it all.
She knows he's married. She is grandmother to his and Austin's kids.
And yet she and Maggie both ringingly endorse a false relationship which spits on the truth. Every time she comments on that beard's Instagram, she says her own son-in-law and grandchildren do not exist in her eyes.
She will have some explaining to do someday to those very same grandchildren. Austin may be used to it by now.
It is a very tough situation to watch.
Ugh. It's always a jolt back to reality, isn't it. Nothing has changed.
Ah well, it's quiet now. But just wait another week 1/2 and you can bet there'll be some kind of shenanigans going on to hide a special upcoming family event. It'll be overkill, that's how you'll know.
Back to something more fun, I am reminded once again when I see the picture of Austin as a Texan Ranger in Parkland of my long-held fantasy of a remake of The Bodyguard.
I think Austin would make a fantastic Frank Farmer. Jake would make a dandy Rick Marron.
The imagery is off the wall. If I could just get a handle on my Photoshop. ;D
