As in Amuse Bouche from the French literally meaning "mouth amuser", it is tiny bite size taste of the chef's choosing to wet the appetite and prepare the everyone for the feast ahead and the chef approach and theme.
What better way to start an Austin Friday's with an evening of JFC, than with such a delicious idea, something to prepare for later on in this evening, a little feast for the eyes.
And the theme of this cuisine is?
Remember OMG's JFC Discussion starts and 5:00pm EST today and runs through Sat. Hope everyone can stop by discuss, ask questions, and enjoy.

Austin Friday and a JFC discussion. Just what the doctor ordered. :-)
I love Corinne Bailey Rae. Awesome song.
Amuse who's bouche? ; )

Ag when did Ted say he was gonna name Toothy? I have been working so much lately I havent been able to keep up with things. Ted sure has been giving us what we want lately but I think it may be due to the fact that so many people didnt like the new format and he wanted to give us what we want more and more Toothy. I hope your right though.
I can't imagine Ted will ever actually say, "Toothy Tile is Jake Gyllenhaal."
Can anyone here imagine that? Ted revealing Toothy? It would be a violation of how HW gossip works. The only BI reveals are usually minor things (celebs behaving badly) or things that celebs admit to (Duchovny saying he's a sex addict), not exposing a celebrity's secret life that he is working very hard to keep secret.
Ted got pissed off because Toothy was bragging around that Ted would never do it (out him), and it got back to Ted. Ted then said something to the effect of "dont think I won't" as a warning to toothy. I dont think he will ever go so far as to say in plain words -Jake is toothy, however Ted is certainly dropping obvious clues almost every day. If you look at WFT2 which posts every toothy comment, Toothy has come up almost every day during Sept.
Zoom in on: A somewhat established Sunset Strip bar. It's empty, save the bartender (our source, like, duh), and Gore-Me and some chick he is not married to. She looks kind of exotic. GMG just looks horny. I think his pants are tenting, it's real under-the-bleachers kinda stuff. The couple who thinks they are so secretly flirting with each other orders buttloads of whiskey sours, which, perhaps—or not—explains why they then start acting like Toothy Tile in a West Hollywood parking lot, as they move to a couch and do what probably took John McCain at least a second date to do with Cindy. For hours. In front of the bartender!
Totally agree with Wicked and M about Ted. Ted is doing everything short of saying "Jake Gyllenhaal is TT", something I dont' expect him to do either. But he has essentially said JG is TT over and over again in the past month.
What was surprising was that Ted was telling people there are places out on the web that keeping track of all the Toothy' it's not's and item. That is a first for Ted.
Basically it's "I can't say it, but the other places that are saying it's Jake aren't wrong"
Back to cute de jour:
Any guesses to theme of this three course delight?
Special I think Ted said you can find a list of the names and guesses that were eliminated out on the internet.
I think it is cool that Brad Pitt donated a $100,000 to help defeat the ban gay marriage amendent which will be on the California ballot on election day.
Special, that was a "whoa" moment for me, too, when he suggested to that person to go check out on the internet. I doubt, too, that he would ever just come out & say it, but he is doing everything but saying it flat out.
Partaking in the ol' T Bell today for lunch. After a rotten week, the yogurt just was not going to cut it. Calcium'll just have to hitch a ride on some other train today cause I'm sure not going to get it out of the big 5 pieces of cheese on my tacos, that's for sure. Counting down the hrs til another big V, just out yonder on the horizon.
I like this song. Very mellow & just what the doctor ordered.
I'm looking forward to JFC discussion; not sure what I can contribute as alot of it went "PFfft" right over my head, but I still am enjoying rewatching it. That Butchie - oops, sorry, trying to start too early.
Clarity! This weekend's the weekend, lol. Remember, last weekend I threw a scare into you.
Is the theme suits?
Wet Suit, Suit, Birthday Suit?
Lean cuisine?
And the theme of this cuisine is?
Sssss.... Spandex, Silk, Skin? Silky skin seeks sunscreen? Sleeky surfer's swimmers seek same-sex sex?
Surf's up
Suit up
Somethings up
'up' things..to get down to. its all good!
Did anyone ever catch that Ted referred to Toothy doing a "digital dance" way back in 2005:
"Dear Lords Looker:
Ain't that the truth. Alas, it ain't Mr. B., whom so many other guessers thought it might be as well. No, the dude who was doing the digital dance with his amigo in a West Hollywood restaurant was none other than... Oops, almost gave it away. My lawyer would have had me on a rocket to Pluto!"
Which digit, #21?
Rocket, another clue. "Rocket boys" was the original name of October Sky. Its alos the anagram (same letters, different words).
Does anyone feel like me and has enjoyed thetime Jake has been away. It was just nice not having reeke shoved down our throats for a while even if poor Atti had to deal with it. I am not looking forward to the reeke inc show starting the fall season with all new episodes.
As much as I miss Jake, since it's the old Jake I miss I have to agree with your Tom.
Never knew about that Ted post, great catch digital.
Love all the other guesses for today's theme.
From 2007:
"“They could have walked to the ferry, and I still would have followed them,” admits our pavement detective, so refreshingly honest (see, always loved those NY types, this is only one reason why). “All the while, they kept walking close to each other, like they were purposely trying to bump into each other, ya know what I mean?”
We do, you baddie bro, we do! So, do continue:
“At one point they had their heads briefly touching each other,” D.S. practically breathlessly relayed. “A short time after that came the friend’s arm around Jake and the whisper to the ear. Then, the whole block before they got to West 12th Street,” said the onlooker, J.G. & A.N. did a little digital dance. “Oh so cute!”"
Want to see a Young Austin? Episode 1.9 "If These Wolves Could Talk" from the series Wolf Lake is going to be on the SciFi channel(US) 12:00PM(noon)EST on Tuesday Sept 23rd. Set those Tivos!
And Jake and Austin are back on FX(US) next Wed (24th) at 7:30PM EST and Thurs (25th)at 5:30PM EST in you guessed it TDAT.
That should be agree with you Tom, not your.
Thanks for the heads up on Wolf Lake, I've never seen it.
Tailor got it. But all of them are awesome guesses. Lean cuisine. LOL!
New Post now! Enjoy.
Tailor already got the answer but while we're talking cuisine picture themes how about
Pic 1 is appetizer/ hors doerves (horses ovaries! lol!): rump roast
Pic 2 is side dish: dressing
Pic 3 is main course: bangers
M said IHJ posted the Borders bookstore pics today. Not sure why I am surprised by this. It is Jake and his friends in the pics afterall. But it seemed to me they avoided Austin in the past. It was nice to see them together on a site not devoted to them.
I think IHJ had a few of the the pics but thery were only available with water marks. These have no watermarks and its the full set.
And here I thought Betty Crocker was an old-fashioned gal. You've been spending too much time in the pubs!
Oh Betty! Gotta love it.
Putting this in both posts:
From a interview with Toby Kebbell who is working on PoP.
Where are you living and working at the moment?
In London, working on The Prince of Persia. After RockNRolla I was out of work for 11 months, to shoot down the idea of the glamour. Then I was in Morocco for two and a half months learning to ride on a horse and fight with an axe for the Prince of Persia, but these big projects go on and on, so I'm shooting at Pinewood now. My co-star Jake (Gyllenhaal) is a lovely fella. He's been training hard and pumping iron; he's all about doing his acting right. It's more like doing a marathon than it is like acting, you're delivering these lines that are a bit obscure and you wouldn't normally say like (adopts OTT theatrical voice) 'The mystical dagger of time is going to save us all!' So it's a tricky one, but Jake's got the bull by the horns. We sat around and had a bite to eat a couple of times. He's a typical Yanky chap.
