One Tree Hill films at Screen Gems Studio in Wilmington North Carolina. Austin is familiar with the area because he filmed the television show Surface there.
This was Austin the last time he was in Wilmington. You think he'll bring back the look for this time?
Granted he's gotta throw a shirt on for a few scenes here and there.
Or will he stick to the high and mighty hair in an homage to David Lynch now that he's to play a indie film producer? Although he may need a little more product to get the full Lynchian look.
Austin will be starting in episode 8 ( In October) and will be in 10 episodes this season as a indie producer named Julien. (Thanks Spooky!)
OTH averages about 21 episodes per season, so it is a good assumption that Austin will become a major part of the story line with Lucas and Peyton for season 6 and will be part of the series sweeps in November February and May.

Ok, I'll fess up, wanted to put up a picture of Austin with the curls. You gotta love 'em.
When you see the picture of him from show choir you realize they boy spent some quality time with his blow dryer straightening all the hair for his "wedge". : )

One of the advantages of living in CA is the lack of humidity. Keeps those curls controllable. I turn into Little Orphan Annie when I go back east.
Good choices on the After Elton list, but I don't agree with the rankings on some. I would have put Angels in America much higher.
I have to admit I'm not a big fan of the curls, I like him better with short hair. IMO the curls draw too much attention away from his face.
But those curls must be fun to play with. : )

Channing is only two days younger than Austin. And of course he was in Stop Loss with Ryan.
I'm looking forward to seeing Austin on OTH, but I'm not looking forward to watching the show. I tried to watch it last night without much success. I'll rack it up to the fact that I was too tired to focus on it. Austin's presence should improve my attention level.
Guess Ted answered the questions about the Toothy age discrepancy.

I agree Blue Velvet I think Ted was answering to the age discrepancy from last week. Not sure how the BT mention fits into that answer.
Just read another thing Jake and Liev have in common. Liev is going to be in Ang Lee's new Woodstock mvie.
I think the BT mention is that people are not factoring that into their guesses, and Ted is saying that it not to be dismissed as speculation. Ted has been very consistent on Baby Tile,for a long time. And he affirmed it to our own Tom.
I saw a picture today of Ang having a ceremony for good luck and success on the set of Taking Woodstock and now and having a heck of time finding it tonight. It is his practice to do this at the beginning every movie and the beginning of shooting.
Ang an incredible cast for it, both screen and stage actors. Can't wait to see how he shows the flip side of the sixties to BBM's version.

I agree that Ted was trying to clear up some confusion this week. Jake was born in 1980. Baby Tile is real.
I had not been over to the MV Edible Island site for a while. Couple of new videos by Chris, at least new to me. He is a lot more relaxed in front of the camera now. In one he fishes with his sister and dad and has his shirt off, a lot. He is a bit dorky, but looks good. So much like Jake actually.

Chris has an iteresting site in Edible Island. Checked it out a couple of times when not doing anything else, and I kinda like this guy. He is a rural no frills, unorthadox, handsome, (farm boy) at best. With an except me as I am attitude. No shirt and shoes at times. He and Jake do talk alike. Picked up some tips on cooking scallops and other foods also. He did mention inviting Jake over to eat a number of times in differennt episodes. And it was the way he said it (a very suttle after thought or thinking out loud) that made me think he could be talking about JG, although I thought the younger guy helping him at times name might be Jake. I'm usually right with my first thought!

Oh, I'm almost certain that they are...just not in a clever "nudge-nudge-wink-wink" way. Remember, we only see the questions/answers that Ted wants us to see.
FWIW, he's never publicly answered a letter asking him straight-out if Jake is Toothy, even though he's probably been asked more times than he can count. (The way the drama is being played out, you'd think the notion never crossed anyone's mind before. *laughs*)
And, he deals with livestock in some episodes.. Guess I'm saying, he is NOT a VEGETARIAN! OK
