The gracious Ms. Portman rose from her chair to greet them. Mr. Gyllenhaal chatted with Mrs. Portman as if they were old sorority sisters catching up. Ms. Witherspoon excused herself from the “oh my God, what a coincidence!” small talk and sat down at a corner booth.

The funny thing is that if fake sightings are posted people will believe them. Most people will not know that they are fake. I'm sure that's not going to help Jake's PR campaign. And if they are posted, it will just go to show that anyone can make up any sightings they want, and that includes all of the Reeke sightings. My personal opinion is that the troll is afraid that a real Jaustin sighting will surface so he's trying to discredit it before it happens.

Shit. Patrick Swayze's rep has confirmed that he has pancreatic cancer and a few weeks to live.
Don't know if/how much Jake was close to PS (they were in DD together) but this will be another death of a costar after Heath.

From the look of Reese's face in those pictures, I don't think this was a photo call. They look like they were caught off guard. And it looks like Chris was carrying luggage. Now why would he stay at the hotel if he lives in NY? He probably gave Reeke an excuse to rent more than one room without raising suspicions, and Jake probably flopped with Chris after a day of "work".
More likely Chris stopped by on the day they checked out which would be today. Jake is carrying his own bag and I would guess that a bellboy put Reese's bag in the SUV already. Looking at the pics it appears that they may be travelling together, back to LA perhaps? Or maybe the driver is dropping him off at his place while driving them to the airport.
Chris lives in NY, if they truly wanted to avoid the paps, they could have stayed with him for the few days, staying at a hotel attracts the paps but they did the same thing last year where Jake appeared on the last day of Zodiac PR at a hotel with Chris.
I thought Jake or his folks had a place in NY, odd that he would choose to stay at a hotel.
I'm guessing that the trip was a junket bought and paid for by Avon, who put Reese up in a hotel.

I don`t admire jake and austin anymore. The reason is i still think they`re a couple. I just can`t admire a couple who officially can`t accept themself.
Hollywood is a very big impact to the rest of the world. It`s a big shame, a fantasy of course, a one they want young people to see and take serious. They`re young and need someone/something to look up to. Hollywood produces that to the perfect ones who think they might reach the goal soon...the ones in the middle, who think" maybe some day, maybe some day i`ll be one of them"-and to those who believe/know they never can be-in hollywoods eyes.
Hollywood, as such an insperation source it is, needs more eyes to be admired. Not just because of sexuality, but because of look-issues and plastic sergery(well, damn...guess i spelled the word wrong...so what? you know what i mean?)
This place in the world has a lot of impact on our kids! I just think celebrities should be spokespersones for them. They should know their influence and take it seriously.

The trip was Avon sponsored, no mystery there. Hotel, SUV driver, BG, restaurants, entertainment, etc.
The NYC pics were Reeke. Any 'civilians' are left out or cropped out of frame. for privacy issues AND because people only wanna see stars and the famous, not commoners. Soooooo going by the pics, if you only go by the pics, you have no idea that Chris could have been with the Freaky Reekey Show at all those shopping trips, etc. Ya know, waiting in the car, like sittin on the other side of Jake and talking to him while Reese was busy hiding behind the neckrest. Going to dinner as part of 6 group. But the powers that be sure wanted it to look/seem like a romantic getaway fro the lovebirds. Reese didn't look happy gettin snapped with Chris did she. Methinks it was a threesome weekend and not in the good way.

It is really sad to hear about Patrick. I work with cancer patients and there is a new chemo out for Pancreatic Ca that is working very well from what I understand. I hope it can help Patrick.
I was really dissappointed when I heard that poor Chris had been used for some reeke pr but in actually I dont think this was a planned gig. It looks more unplanned and like a quick getaway. Just because you have a room in a hotel does not mean that you stayed there. The same can be said of an apartment or a friend's or a family's place. You can give the suggestion of staying one place and stay somewhere completely different.
But what I do find interesting is this and no one mentioned it is:

No celebrity does this. They would leave the back entrance to leave by car. Unless they wanted to be seen leaving.

Didn't Chris move to LA? He was there for a long time about a year ago and had left his NYC job. Don't know if he moved back to NYC or not.
