It is gorgeous indeed. I bow to her artistry! But then again the subject inspires.
Just closed the polls. The Informers was the clear winner over Brothers, 65% to 35%. In a squeaker, Brothers beat PoP by one vote. Nailed finished a very distant third. The top two gay movies were Wedding Banquet at 13% and Maurice with 12% of the vote. Beautiful Thing came in third with 9%. Thanks to all who voted, particularly our friends who came over from WFT2.

One of the films on our list of movies, Big Eden, is premiering on television in the month of June. It looks really good. From the website:

I'm going to bask in 80s-accompanied Austin, which has become one of my favorite ways to enjoy him; honestly, he really is a breath of fresh air.
I got nothin' concerning the photos from yesterday. I agree with m that they are probably the worst posed set since Rome. They might be actors, but they can't act themselves out of a paper sack when it comes to this fauxmance. It's embarrassing to watch. I was laughing at the "evilyn" post at the end of the last thread - that pretty much sums it all up. Evilyn, please post more! ;)
Brothers was the film that came out front for me on the first two polls. It's the only Jake film I'm genuinely excited about; I actually can't wait to see it. Informers is my close second, though. I had only seen two of the films on the long list, Maurice and The Object Of My Affection, so I made my third choice the film I'd most like to see - Gods and Monsters.

Nice to wake up to beautiful Austin, thank you as usual. Spooky's work excellent too. I dont know much about photo shop but she got the perspective on the paintings dead on. Maybe it is a piece of cake but it looks difficult to do.
Thanks for the tip too about Sundance channel/Big Eden. One I have not seen. It sounds like they are going to do a number of gay films based on the reference to Outloud programming. Maybe I can catch some of the other films I've missed as well.

It's from Austin's birthday, this year. With short hair! He looks good. Don't ask me who the girls are, although I think we all recognise the 'roommates' by now. I don't think those bike pics from last weekend were old, if you check out another set of pics taken of them the same day shopping on IHJ 5/17 his legs are hairless, he wore shorts.

If you wanted to be a tabloid/magazine that wanted to make some real 'trouble' they could say that friends of said Reese was thinking of taking a couple of years off work to have kids for/with Jake. Just not the message I think Reese wants to really send at the moment. It might force Reese to respond and comment on baby rumors. I doubt any of the magazines would do something like this but it would be a way of taking control of the fauxmance away from the PR folks.
PS I like how they are back dating the start of the John Mayer and Jenifer Aniston relationship to add a whole 3 months to the relationship. Just like with Jake and Reese where they can tack on the first several months when they were "hiding" (that is, not calling the paps and probably not seeing each other very much...)

I`m very happy for Jake career-vice. Think it MIGHT be an opportunity for hìm to really break through mainstream...though i have to agree with those who said it will only get worse bearding-vice. The more famous and sucsessful you get, the more you have to hide you`re private-life, if it doe`s involve any "scandale". In Hollywood-eyes, i think we all know at least one example a good scandal might be. I really don`t think there would be much of a scandal if Jake just came out before Reese. Now, i think it`s way too late.
I will always hope for the best for our boys, but as i told you before, Neil patrick harris and David Burtka, i admire much more, and i`m so sorry for David`s loss. Neil said on "regis and Kelly", friday, David`s mother died of cancer(may 16th).He showed a photo of her and wished David, his sister and their dad all the best.

my bf's sister sat at a table next to them last week at the Brentwood country mart. Said they seemed really relaxed and sweet. Said Jake is gorgeous in real life (and before she never thought he was cute before) but Reese looks like a 16 year old.

As much as I enjoy shirtless Austin, I really love that screencap with Austin in the wetsuit. I don't think there is anyone else who has looked as good as Austin in a wetsuit.

And loved some of the roles he would pop up in as an actor.

Really sad about Pollack. I'll add the movies mentioned above Out of Africa, Absence of Malice, They Shoot Horses, Don't They, that last one really made a big impression on me when I first saw it. Of course I was really young; wonder if it has aged well.
Changing the subject for a bit, I realized after reading the description on imdb that I have seen Big Eden. I am shallow, the lead was not sexy enough for this slash addict. I will watch it again for the story and give it a 2nd chance on Sundance next month. Too bad Elton limited the choices to movies. Angels in America was a multi part TV series on HBO or Showtime, can't recall which now. Spectacular.
Yes, Jake on his own radiates an entirely different vibe. The vibe that got me hook, line and sinker.

I'm so sorry to hear about Sidney Pollack; I loved his movies, too many to mention, and also his appearances in films as an actor, Spesh. I most recently saw him in Michael Clayton. :(
On a striclty shallow note, I posted about Big Eden. I hope my info was accurate. I just love the idea of this film, I love that part of the country, and a unapologetic romance with two men. Plus, I want to see Eric Schweig who plays Pike. I've seen him in a few films and I think he's hella sexy. :)

I couldn't help notice no Jake at this Bday celebration, and no ring (finger or chain) :\
He has two chains, we can't see what's on them - and we don't know who's there. I doubt whether Jake would allow pics of himself in an ordinary setting.
