Sunday might be the first day of Summer, but Austin's already back to work. (Hmmm... funny how vacations end and work begins)
Austin is back on the set of One Tree Hill, and as a regular cast member. Woo Hoo! Check out Austin Nichols Journal (Spooky's) for the the picture proof. (Thanks Spooky & Vesperlynd) Here's hoping he had a great break and had some fun. We know he likes Europe. So nice did he do it twice? or more?
While it will be long days of shooting, maybe Austin will get some surfing in on his downtime and days off and with the water temps at 80F/26C he can ditch the wet suit and go bare(chest), just use good sunscreen. Then again, he is the man of mystery, where he goes no one knows. ; )
But he is going to find out what it's like living in a beach town in the summer. People want to come and visit. And the Southern gentleman he is, he will be more than willing to accommodate for sure.
He may even be such the gracious host, to send a map, as a special invitation. Maybe celebrate the weekend Or check out if his trailer is bigger now that he's a regular. ; )

Nice to see Austin back at work, funny how back to work seems to be the order of the day for quite a few people doesn't it.
Also, adore those pics of Austin in the shower, never seen those before, he just looks devine.
Meg the pictures of Austin in the shower were taken at the same shoot of him laying on the hotel bed as part of a press for JFC.
Now that Austin is back to work, I think he will have time to blog again. So happy he is working. Honestly, I think part of Jake's problem is that he is bored with not enough to do. How much coffee drinking and shopping can one do? At his age he has tons of energy. He needs more work.

Funny the last tweet with a spotting I saw that is somebody kidding about him having lunch at the Red Squirrel in Cincinnati - Jake and Cincinnati hmmm what is it about Cincinnati or things with nuts - I didn't just say that did I?
Tweets from 13 hours ago - which would be around 1 am EST of him and Owen in Georgetown - why not throw in some summer congressional staff interns to make it even better.
I see while I was having a crazy day with work people were going crazy with the twittering. I don't trust most of it, could be pr, people making it up to look cool, for a joke, etc. And why is it that we don't get all this twitter activity in L.A.?

A close friend who knows nothing about this site and could care less about Reese or Jake saw Reese in DC yesterday with some other actor (male) for some type of filming. He could not remember the actors name.

new trends in romance novels
Really interesting about the new trends in romance novels. There is a gay couple here in Boston who write gay romance novels together and they said when interviewed that their straight female readers write them and say they want move sex after the two turned up the romance and played down the sex in one of their novels.
Sophia was in NY last night for an event, so it sounds like maybe OTH has the weekend off.
Hmmm, could both fellas be on the East Coast and its is a weekend to celebrate - you know -- a Sunday ---
But that's made me think something. With the twitters and the mentions of Jake in DC days ago and holding pictures to release until today or tomorrow - it would make it look like Jake has been there through this whole weekend, and really throw people off. Jake can be anywhere he wants to be while people get their whatever on about them being together this weekend. And it would further pushed back the pesky rumors about kids - if the public saw him out on Father's Day with Reese.
But that's what Hollywood is all about making the audience think what they see is real when something else is the reality.
Interesting about Ted's latest answer, I mean what else can he say to say it's Jake. But of course there are people who still can't believe is Jake. At this point that seems the most unbelievable part of the entire Toothy Tale.
Maybe Sophia didn't have any scenes to film this weekend. Doesn't mean that Austin didn't.
That could be. But with Sophia being the reason Julian came back to Tree Hill, it makes you think that they are both on the same storyline and schedule and for a bit until Mark Schwann decides to tinker with Brulian happiness again. I would think that they are the A story at the moment, so maybe they are doing shooting the B story for the weekend.
Destiny I don't why but the 50's hotel, and the shots in the shower even what Austin's in, made the whole photoshoot Hitchcockian to me.

Odd that Ted dodged the age group question but was so bold about the Anniston reply. I guess he gets moody just like we all do. His reply certainly narrows the playing field, not that there was ever any doubt that Toothy is Jake.
M, how does that work? Before the film crew gets in town Reese's PR people send out an underground missive to everyone with a twitter account in the greater D.C. area to make up sightings on specific dates at specific times and locations?
You can twitter bullshit from every corner of the World.
It works the same way the fake live journal sighting worked for a very short time period. Set up an account, do a fake sighting, move on to the next account for the next sighting. Use it once, never again. Didn't we just have Jake in 4 states all at the same time.
Twitter only keeps the stuff for two weeks.
