Guns and Gams

The story might have been about a dagger but there was a definite gun show going on.

But guns isn't the only thing Jake's got. He has some serious gams. Even Ted has said they are highly overlooked. Well, with the eyes, the dimples, the smile, the arms and the abs...something's gonna get overlooked. It's can be too much. ; )

And the new peeks at them from his two recent projects, make you go...
"wait they look familiar where have a I see them before."

Oh that's right.

But even with all of that going for him don't know if really pull off this look.
Then again it could work with the shopping cart for those farmers market runs.

TORONTO: The Toronto deals are exploding! Anchor Bay Films has just closed all English-speaking rights to Beautiful Boy, the Shawn Ku-directed drama. I'm told the deal was 7-figures, negotiated by Paradigm Motion Picture Finance Group's Ben Weiss with Anchor Bay Films' Kevin Kasha. Deal includes a P&A commitment. Lightning Entertainment is selling foreign. It stars Maria Bello and Michael Sheen as disengaged parents of a
college student who discover not only that he has been killed in a campus shooting, but that he was the triggerman who massacred other students. The picture premiered Sunday and has been a topic of buzz, particularly for those strong lead performances and Ku's and Michael Armbruster's script. Anchor Bay continues to raise its profile after acquiring and releasing Solitary Man and City Island. First Point Entertainment's Lee Clay and Gold Rush Entertainment's Eric Gozlan produced the pic.

Oh where's the comparison to the right foot and right ankle? It would seem to me that the right foot ankle/ instep is the tell. Comparing both those pics I don't see a similarity at all. Not with the right ankle area.

Good try.

Still need to see the indentation under the inside of the right ankle. That will tell me 100 % that it is indeed Jake's foot. Everything else says it could be.

LOL at the straw hat. Combined with the nursery blue tank, I'm not getting that look. lol.

Aw well, everything else is clicking!

I need to pick up my copy of PoP this week. I need to find out who has it the cheapest.

Boy, a song that has a great beat is that Tic Toc by Keisha. I have no idea what she is saying or what the lyrics are about but love the rhythm of the chorus.

There are some great caps over at IHJ of Prince of Persia. Kudos to IHJ who have screen capped the whole movie already.

Most of the reviews are saying while the Blu-ray is amazing for detail (almost all of them talk about how you can each grain of sand) but sometimes worked against the CGI events. But the look of both the DVD and Blu-Ray version have gotten good marks for the visuals.

Has anyone gotten a chance to watch it at home yet? What's your impression?

I haven't bought it yet! I just got back into town yesterday and it's rained/lightning'd all night here so I've been mercilessly trapped to my laptop all night. Such misery. LOLLLL!!

I plan to, though. Like I said, I am shopping for the lowest price. I'll have to look at Target & Best Buy's ads online.

LOL at Austin talking about his "tiny" biceps. Tiny. Tiny Texan biceps.

Uh, Austin, those aren't exactly tiny biceps, buddy. lol. Those are gorgeous biceps!!

I just heard a great song tonight. "You're the Top" by Ethel Merman. Good ol' Ethel Merman. Could that woman belt out a song or what? What a cute song, though. You're the Top.

♪♫♪You're the Nile ♪♫♪

Why would you call a person a Nile? That's a river, I know. It's a long river, I think. There has to be something significant about it to equate it to someone being "the top". I'll have to google it.

You're the top!
You're the Colosseum.
You're the top!

You're a melody from a symphony by Strauss
You're a Bendel bonnet,
A Shakespeare's sonnet,
You're Mickey Mouse.
You're the Nile,
You're the Tower of Pisa,
You're the smile on the Mona Lisa
I'm a worthless check, a total wreck, a flop,
But if, baby, I'm the bottom you're the top!

and then,

You're the top!
You're Mahatma Gandhi.
You're the top!
You're Napoleon Brandy.
You're the purple light
Of a summer night in Spain,
You're the National Gallery
You're Garbo's salary,
You're cellophane.
You're sublime,
You're turkey dinner,
You're the time, the time of a Derby winner
I'm a toy balloon that is fated soon to pop
But if, baby, I'm the bottom,
You're the top!

That's awesome. You're the time of a Derby winner. What a great line.

A Shakespeare sonnet.

You're a Bendel bonnet.

What does that mean? A Bendel bonnet. What in the heck is a Bendel bonnet.

The Nile is one of the grandest rivers in the world. Bendel is a famous designer.

Destiny, have you seen this Henri Bendel store? It sounds like there's one in NYC.

Sorry for the small obsession. I better hit the hay. Thursday is 7am meeting day!

Good news about Austins film doing well at TIFF, though I don't know how big his part is.

I happened to see this on ONTD. "Coming out gave Ricky Martin's music a whole new perspective, says his producer Desmond Child to BlackBook: I’m really excited about the music, the content, because since he’s come out it’s unleashed his creativity and the scope of what he can sing about and say and do. He’s a formidable person – an activist, a philanthropist, a humanitarian. All of the work he’s put into his charity—it’s all going into the music. His personal life too, and how much his life has been changed by his children. Once he opened that door a floodgate of energy and creativity just really exploded...We really reached a creative fusion of rock and pop and electronic and Latin music – it’s all over the place in a really great way." The posters final comment says it all. "The truth will set you free, apparently."

Those are Jake's legs. Nice focus, Special, on that shot of his leg.

And I have to remember that this photo wasn't done just this past year. I have seen pictures of Jake when he wasn't so disciplined 365 days out of the year about working out nor into the yoga and his calves, knees, and thighs have not always been so developed. There've been periods when his calves were downright thin.

Just like Tom has pointed out numerous times, the size of that foot rules out a fair amount of women. And it's not just the size because alot of women have large feet - that's not it. It's that ankle.

Bad, bad boys. lol.

What a picture to have done and always have.

I like that nice touch of the small holes at the top of Austin's T shirt. And that foot was busy. Note the gathered up folds in the center.A couple of scrapes from that long, skinny heel.

What a 180 from the image of the shopping cart complete with organic cotton liner, though.

LOLLLLL!! Speciallll!! That just broke up the image with static. I've gotta get to work.

Dear Ted:
Who's most famous in order out of the three: Toothy Tile, Nelly Fang and Nevis Divine?

Dear Fame Whore:
Toothy, I'd say, but probably not for that much longer. With Nev as a close second and Nelly's star rising by the day in third place.

Dear Ted:
I know movie reviews are subjective and can vary greatly. But some times, a really crappy movie gets released by a big studio with a big-name actor attached to it that most critics will still slam, but inevitably there will be one lone, but high-profile, critic that will give it a perfect score. Is there any gossip in T-town about movie critics being on the take by some of the bigger studios?

Dear I'm Bored Already:
Sorry, babe, but this one's the oldest story in the book: Besides gay leading women and men, that is. Yes, even whole blogs (not mine) are paid off for good reviews today!
